Finding the right shade of make-up for other parts of your body?
So, I have some scars on my bum. But other than those scars, I think my bum is my best feature. I was thinking I would just get some foundation and concealer in the right shade, but I think there's a fair chance I'll get arrested if I walk into Boots, drop my knickers and start smearing their tester pots on my ass.
Any advice on how to find that right shade that wont lead to me being convicted of indecent exposure? And does anyone have any advice on body makeup for camming in general?
Re: Finding the right shade of make-up for other parts of your body?
Personally, I think putting makeup on your ass would be far more trouble than it's worth (it might smear, get on other things, etc.). But that's just me. If you're set on it, buy a couple of different colors from a place with a good return policy and return whatever doesn't match.

hey! I can relate with you. I have your exact same problem. I have gone through contouring & hightlighting my ass, I agree it's not worth it.
But I do benefit from using a light layer of foundation that more or less matches my skin, it makes the skin look more even on cam. I'd say try to match the color there to some part of your arm, then test for that shade. But in the end it doesn't matter because it will look like tanning marks or shadows.

I would think tattoo concealer would work great in this case!

I say no to make up! The guys don't care. Own it and rock it!

This is so true, guys don't care at all. But if it makes you feel better or more confident it is OK to conceal it as well. Great thing is you have the choice!

I used one bar of the Vichy tattoo concealer. It's expensive as hell, it gets rubbed off anyway, and like they've said, really not worth it. It does the job though. ;)

I mean, look at some of the HAIRY girls on Streamate, I am not knocking that. If there are men that love and willing to pay for that then scars are not a big deal.

I bet there are scar fetish guys.
Re: Finding the right shade of make-up for other parts of your body?
There's a fetish for EVERYTHING. I love when vanilla girls in real life think men are only into pretty, beautiful and "normal" things. Bitch, have several seats, lmao!

Thick pan stick. I use it to help cover my knee scar because I don't like explaining what happened all the time. It looks almost nonexistent on cam.
Also with a good amount of lighting, you can make scars seem nonexistent. I always get complimented on my perfect complexion. When my complexion has been the same since I've been 14. Good lighting is cammodel, drag queen, actress, model's best friend.

That stuff really covers up for me.

^^^^This all day OP. They really don't care OP. For the past couple of years I've been doing Tca Peels to get rid of acne scars and hyper-pigmentation. So every now and then I'd be on cam looking like a dam reptile. I put makeup on over the peel but my skin was flaking and peeling which was plain as day. Sounds gross I know but money had to be made. I already take weeks off so I wasn't trying to take anymore time off especially for something as simple as a peel, its not like I was sick or had any serious issues.
Just a few weeks ago I did a peel on my lower back, hips, and upper thighs (was trying to fade my stretch marks). The % of the peel was too strong so I ended up burning my skin. I was self conscious about it so I put bandages over it. A few guys asked me what happened. When I took the bandages off my skin was peeling and you could clearly see it on cam but no one said anything. This whole time that I've been doing peels not 1 guy has asked or made a comment about "why the heck is this girl peeling all over the place?". I didn't even have any issues making my goals. These dudes really don't care.
But if you really want to cover it up maybe get a few sample shades from a department store. DermaBlend makes some pretty good foundation that's meant to cover up scars and tattoos. If you can find a decent sample shade you can go to Findation.com and find your shade in different brands.

It's up to you, OP but I've seen a few cammodels that look like they have stab wounds on their asses and they still get paid to twerk it for gold and drop it like it's hot :D I got a lapdance from a girl once that got stabbed in the booty and she was selling dances with her regs like crazy. Her confidence made her appear like she had the best looking ass out here. Own that shit!... if you want ;)

Try dermablend. Watch the videos on their site! They are amazing. I don't think they sell samples... that's also an option is to order samples for you to try at home to find the right shade. You could write them and ask for samples. Their makeup is pretty waterproof and very durable as long as you use the setting powder. It pretty much covers everything up. I find that I can order in 3 different shades and they all match pretty well.
Also, like with what KourtneyKay said it doesn't really matter on cam. It won't affect your earnings unless you let it. I'm pretty much completely covered in super deep long stretch marks all over my belly, inner thighs, legs, and boobs from gaining 100 pounds during a pregnancy. It's had no effect on my earnings. I make a fantastic hourly wage currently and I honestly believe that I wouldn't make more if I covered them up, it would just be a confidence booster for me. You can barely see them on cam though with good lighting. The ones on my inner thighs you can, but no customer has ever mentioned anything. Nobody even thinks I have children either hahaha.
I only wear the dermablend when it's time to get frisky in real life haha
Re: Finding the right shade of make-up for other parts of your body?
Spending too much time preparing for your stream session is a recipe for disastrous burnout. Body makeup is not necessary on cam. In the time that it takes you to apply that stuff, you could already be logged on making money. With the right lighting angles and camera settings, the blemishes will never be present. If you feel self conscious, the best thing to do is get on cam. Once you see that your customers don't care, then will no longer worry about those things either.
