New to cam world and wondering how to make good videos/ best payment options
Hey ladies! I am new to cam and when I am on cam or making a video it is so hard for me to get angles right, like I have to turn my head all the way around to see what I look like on the screen. Is there any way to make what your seeing on your computer screen appear on a tv in front of u while on cam or making a video so you don't have to spend the whole time with your head turned all the way around? My ass is my best feature so I must turn around a lot. Also, what are the best ways to receive a payment? Lots of guys offer paypal but I don't wanna risk getting caught using it for adult stuff as I use it for ebay stuff. I found paxum is great, no fees, no chargebacks but not a lot of guys know about it so its kind of a pain to get them to pay. Payoneer is only for girls using a site plus they come with fees so I guess I could sign up for them but don't want to pay the fees and am not sure if I can take payments from an indy client? Any help would me much appreciated! Thanks!

You can get a USB cord extender if you're using a webcam. That way you can set the camera up on a tripod and move your computer a little closer to you, but off screen.
If you're using a regular camera it's going to be a bit harder, but some of them allow for tethering, just depends on what kind of camera you have. Some newer DSLR cameras have tethering abilities so you can start filming/focus using your computer. You can even tether some cameras with an HDMI cord to your TV! There's also some that come with WIFI abilities so you can use your phone to record (GoPro is one of those and some newer Canon DSLRs). Of course if you don't have a camera that allows that you're going to spend a LOT of money on a camera that offers that option.
When I am unsure if I am in frame with my camera I will do some test recordings where I start filming and move around like I will be doing for the video. Then I can play it back and see where I was and how to position my self so I am perfectly in frame. It's a pain in the ass and it can be frustrating but that's the easiest way to do it if you can't tether or see yourself on your screen.
Never use PayPal, most of the guys that offer that are probably going to rip you off anyway. That's the only advice I can offer in terms of payment though. I am sure there's a lot of other ladies that can help!
Re: New to cam world and wondering how to make good videos/ best payment options
I use Payoneer through Streamate and never had any issues with getting paid so far..with MFC it is setup direct deposit. The fees I see as an extra security measure/payment for using them as a middle man, but they can be annoying with each deposit and it can add up. The only other source of payment I could suggest is receiving a check in the mail (I may end up switching to in the next coming month since my bank is only a few short blocks away.) Having Payoneer makes it easy though since the funds are pretty much loaded and you don't have to make any trips.
I suggest using a navigation car mount to clip your cam into place as well finding a spot on the desk to place velcro to keep it from falling. It is useful if you don't have that mobility to move side to side for good angle shots.

^ can u receive payments from indy clients with payoneer? Also, I am a bit skeptical about getting a check in mail cuz it goes rt to ur house, what if one these weirdos somehow figures that out? I get bank transfers but the bank i get it transferred to isn't registered to my current address so I feel a bit more secure but I guess if they wanna find me they could anyways...
Re: New to cam world and wondering how to make good videos/ best payment options
I second justsometwat's recommendation of using a tripod. That's what I've always used and it makes everything so much easier! Most webcams have a pretty long cord so you should have some room to maneuver. I also use a 50 inch TV as my computer monitor so it's easy to see the screen from anywhere in the room. It's an older TV, nothing fancy, but it's really helped to use that instead of squinting at my old 15 inch computer screen.
As far as payment options go, definitely don't use paypal. It's not worth the risk. Have you looked in to using an indy site like CMD or LCMS? They both offer high percentages. I used payoneer on CMD for about a year (cost $3.50/deposit), and recently switched to direct deposit (no fees).

With Payoneer you can receive payments from anyone. I believe the envelop doesn't have the company name, but the check I know for certain does and when going to deposit I am sure that can be a bothersome, but since you are not connected to your current address. (not much to worry about) Any weirdo could find out that you web model, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. The most important thing is that you get paid. You could try it for a month and if it isn't your cup of tea set back to Payoneer.

I called payoneer and they told me id have to sign up w them threw a site, not independently… So maybe if I sign up w them via MGF (a site I'm already on), then I could take that payment for indy ppl?

I would not recommend it.
They do not want to be used as a payment processor. They only want you to get paychecks from cam sites through it.
If I were you I'd sign up with either of the sites ScarletBelle recommends above. I'm using LCMS and so happy that I have my own site to send my customers to now.
Re: New to cam world and wondering how to make good videos/ best payment options
We do direct deposit with our daily pay thing, and if you're planning to use the Payoneer card its actually quite competitive as far as what goes in your pocket.
There's lots of reasons not to use Payoneer, tax issues and finance/credit history issues being a few other than their big expenses attached. Site owners like it because its basically free for them, but how they can gouge you on the other end is only limited by state laws regarding payroll cards. They don't have a "lowest common denominator" fee chart, they push the max allowed by law depending on which state you live.
