Streamate HD Encoder Issues.. I've tried everything!
I apologize if this is in another thread somewhere on this subject, but I couldn't seem to find the information I'm looking for.
I've tried every possible setting with my HD Logitech Webcam which works fine any other time I use it. I know my computer works fine because it is new and I clean it out regularly. The issue is when I copy and past the stream info into the encoder it just sits there and never connects. I've never really cammed there and I have integration for it with my membership site and I would really like to start camming there...so this is really annoying.
Would it hurt my ratings a lot not using the encoder and just streaming in standard HD?
Are there any other encoders you ladies recommend?
Thanks!

not trying to be funny but are you sure you are plugging info into the right inputs..
can you screenshot and post pics of your settings ?
and you can definitely still cam with out encoder there are lots of girls that do and for some it doesnt hurt ratings as long as your cam is clear & functioning.. its more so seems to effect your cam placement..
Re: Streamate HD Encoder Issues.. I've tried everything!
Did you press the green Start button at the bottom? When I first started I clicked Connect (not the right button to click at all).

If you can't get the encoder to work, download the Open Broadcaster software and use that as your encoder. I did and it worked perfectly fine.
I tested placement once not using hte encoder and I will never make that mistake again. I went back to using the encoder and my placement took weeks to fix.

I was going to say what JackAlexander said above... Also make sure you are clicking the correct button to start, and are entering the two codes in the correct fields. If all else fails post a screen cap of your encoder here next.

Thanks for the responses! Yes I did click the green button. I've used it on my last computer with no issues, so I know how to set it up, which is why I'm baffled. I'll double check everything again.....or just try without it and see how that goes.
