-I play D&D every Saturday with a group of friends
I grew up in a very religious, almost Westboro baptist church-like Christian home. At 20, I started dating an atheist (I was not allowed to date) and my parents chucked me out the house. I have not been back since and its been the happiest 3 years of my life. i do not believe that blood family are always the answer. My personal beliefs are also not like the ones I was raised with. I am super liberal and very "live and let live".
I am a competitive pole dancer and am insanely flexible as I used to be a rhythmic gymnast.
I have written one novel of my own, and ghost written another novel. Writing is my side gig sometimes if camming is slow.
I was at one stage very into the swingers and kink scene. I was introduced to it by my ex bf who was my lover at the time. This was way before camming happened. but I am not surprised that I took to camming so well given my enjoyment of sexual deviance.
I am a qualified chocolatier, so I can make pretty much anything out of chocolate. I am also a really good baker and cook.
I learn languages super easily, like its not even a thing. I am fluent in german and french and afrikaans as well and am currently learning Japanese.
I was born in New Orleans, LA to a mother who was 13 years old. She raised me and continued her schooling to graduate before her class. I took Calculus in the 7th grade. I quit college(with a 3.9 GPA) to go on tour with a major band as part of their road crew to see the world. My parents were thrilled! I love to cook, especially Cajun. I have worked with cancer patients and hospice for 17 years! I love to go fishing and crabbing!
I extreme coupon. It's one of the few things I can actually focus on for hours on end. I have 2 binders stuffed to the gills at any given time.
I can shuck an oyster in less than 15 seconds! :D I also crab when I have the time to.
I'm scared to death of dentists. I thankfully have decent teeth, but I had a dentist mutilate my gums a few years back during a cleaning and had to go to the ER as a result. I'm still traumatized...
I have Seasonal Affective Disorder & cold urticaria (I get rashes when I'm too cold). SAD is basically seasonal bi-polar disorder so during the winter, if I'm not in sunshine, I lose it. There aren't many medications that deal with either & sun lamps don't work at all for me, so I spend the winters in the hottest places I can find. I like to think of it as my reason to see the world :D
I really like this thread. It's padding out some already fascinating people.
1. I really like to travel. My aim is to have traveled to 30 countries by the time I turn 30. So far, it's 20 (for the interested: France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, Estonia, Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Israel, Palestine, USA, Netherlands, Sweden, Holy See).
2. Conversely, I'm very very shy and I get nervous whenever I leave my house. Especially if it's a social gathering with lots of people crowded together (like a nightclub or a festival). I don't have that many friends, even though I would really like to. I think I come across as a bit awkward and shy but I love people, and I love making friends.
3. I've had an eating disorder since I was 15 and thought I have roots 9 inches long, grey hair, acne, no make up and body hair, I spend £200+ a month on gym membership, personal trainer, classes and other fitness stuff. Weird how I don't give a shit about one aspect of my appearance and obsess about another. I love working out, though. It releaves my anxiety, is a great way to meet people, makes me feel beautiful and slick and strong, helps me sleep better and gives me a goal to work toward.
4. In my life I have worked as:
Stripper, pornographer, fetish model, escort, professional submissive, dominatrix and... librarian. ha!
I REALLY wanted to be a foreign exchange student when I was in high school, but couldn't afford it.
I failed Chemistry and Algebra 2 in high school.
I used to be obsessed with travel, countries, languages, etc. I know an above average amount about quite a few different countries because I spent a lot of time in high school doing research. I tried to teach myself Spanish in grade school. All I remember how to say is 'where is the bathroom'. I've also tried to teach myself Italian and Portuguese. I had an average over 100 in my high school French II class. We used to play games in my 9th grade geography class to help study for tests. Everyone knew if they were going up against me that they didn't have a chance.
My dream career would be an indie author. Camming is slowing that down. :( I was torn between making camming into a career or writing books. Writing is my life though and I'll be able to truly be location independent and travel the world nonstop.
My first love was another girl.
I almost gave my son up for adoption.
I plan on unschooling my son. Sooooooo excited about that.
I had one friend in high school. I didn't speak at all. Not to anyone. I was too shy. Some teachers thought I was depressed.
I moved 20+ times growing up. The only place I ever felt truly at home was in a library or bookstore. Being surrounded by a ton of books makes me feel calm.
Edit: I've never been in a real relationship.
-Because of a chemical mishap at a job years ago, I have almost completely lost my sense of smell. No super powers for me :(
-I used to sword fight all the time, but got tired of hiding the bruises on cam. I miss it :/
-I make custom stuffed animals as one of my many side jobs, and sometimes those requests can be as strange as those on camming.
-I collect BJDs too! I have a few obitsus, dollfies. Saving up for my dream Luts atm. Something about dat sculpt :cutie: I have a mild obsession with older dolls too, after inheriting a lot of my grandma/mom's old ones.
yeah, great thread. I love reading through it. thanks again girls
