The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
So obviously most of us fill our time with non-sexy, uninteresting-sounding activities. School, volunteering, watching Netflix, cooking, sleeping in late, going for walks with significant others, taking care of children, whatever.
And obviously, when customers ask us "What do you do in your free time" or "What do you do for fun?" we want to give them fantasy-grade answers, rather than inviting them into the realities of our normal lifestyles.
When you really think about it, it's a tough question to answer, because you want to answer it in a way that pleases individual customers. For example, in general, you wouldn't tell your Midwestern-born regular that you spend all of your time getting lavish massages and eating sushi, and you probably wouldn't tell a high-powered businessman that you spend your weekends planted in front of your computer watching Netflix while clipping your toenails. But we can still come up with a list of activities that we can tailor to each customer's fantasy versions of our lifestyles. Who does your customer want you to be? Who is your customer PAYING you to be?
Help me come up with a list of activities that sound sexy and / or interesting so we feel more prepared the next time we get asked this question!
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
Part of selling your activities is also about selling a story or an image. So instead of saying "cooking," which sounds very generic and homely, say "I love baking cookies - chocolate chip is my favorite! I usually end up giving them away to my friends and neighbors. I even have a sexy little apron that I wear every time I bake!" (to charm the Midwestern good ol' boy) or "I loooove cooking...especially grilling! I love taking a big hunk of meat and cooking it to perfection." (to woo the businessman).
Say something that sticks in their heads, and make a story out of it. You can also turn this into conversational material so you don't feel like you need to keep listing off fascinating activities. "What do you do in your free time?" "Oooh...these days I'm in LOVE with cooking! I can't stop baking cookies! My sexy little apron is getting a lot of use these days. Do you have a favorite dessert?" ...this can also segue into easy, cheesy, cute sales lines. "All of this talk about dessert is reminding me that you haven't had YOUR dessert yet! Let's go back for some private playtime."
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
I'm so bad at this question... I tend to go into dumb blonde mode, giggle and say "Spend my money!" and if they press me, I tell them I go shopping at the high-end mall, out to dinner, etc.... I try to make it sound as stereotypical stripper as possible. It usually works; they either start asking have I been to so-and-so nightclub, or else realize I don't want to discuss it and leave it alone.
Occasionally if the guy seems down to earth and not creepy, and like they aren't into dumb blondes, I will tell them the truth about my horses. But usually I avoid it, because then they start playing 20 questions because it's not a common hobby. Le sigh.
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
Lately I've been saying "I masturbate!!" followed by happy-ditzy giggling. "That can be very time consuming!" It's kind of a fun answer because you can start talking about sexy topics, like fantasies and whatnot (which are good primers for lapdances). And it helps take the focus away from your daily activities - you can move on to talking about what turns your customer on, etc.
But I've found that this response is a bit too sexually aggressive for some customers - like saying "I don't need no man, I take care of myself!" For the right customer, it can be a good answer.
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
I find that travel is a pretty good answer to this question. I travel a fair bit and I do enjoy talking about it which certain helps with building more natural rapport, but I also find most of the clientele that visits my club travel at least a tiny bit, even if just for business to nearby cities.
We can swap stories/opinions of destinations we've both been to, I can ask for tips on ones they've been that I haven't yet visited, etc. With customers that travel more extensively, I'll often ask where they find the sexiest women are, or how they've enjoyed clubs in other countries. From there it's easy to transition to offering a lap dance to "compete" or to show that Canadian women keep their men warmest or whatever.
Overall, easy topic to make sexy (especially in the winter with beach getaways and bikinis) and to segue into dances ("I think it's time for us to have our own little getaway!").
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
Masturbate, sleep, and shop. That's my usual go-to. They go "master bate" and I talk about how high of a sex drive I have lol.
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
Cooking Southern food! I need to play up my Southern-ness more because midwest guys seem to like it. I also always talk about going to the spa, getting massages and getting my nails done. Then I show them my nails and complain "I need to get them done again! I really need to sell more dances so I can get them done tomorrow!" I don't know why but guys always give me money when I talk about my nails or other really girly/feminine things.
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
My go to is always how much I masturbate: "5 times a day, I can't function without having at least 3 orgasms before work! You should see me after work, my pussy is like a dang fountain I get so worked up!" Immediately go to VIP.
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
"Fuck my boyfriend and spend your money". ::)

I used to care for and ride horses. I had a horse - mostly quarter horse - mixed thoroughbred. That's cool. I was wondering if you were into horses. I miss them. They're good medicine <3
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
I like this thread because it's very easy sometimes to get a little real about yourself. Especially if you feel at a loss for words. I like using the shopping line - especially for sexy panties. One time I told a customer My girlfriend and I do that a lot - got a dance for that one - well he was definitely more interested in what I do in my spare time.. Sounds a bit cliche I guess..
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
The stereotypical bimbo stuff like shopping at high end stores and getting nails done, and tell them how much I love sexy panties (cuz I do!)
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
^^ Thank god!! ^^ lol I like sexy panties too - and I could spend a fortune on 'em. I was worried that line was a little too cheesy and cliche - glad other people use it too! lol... ;-)
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
Yoga, long slow stretches ("do you have a sore back? I can show you some poses that will help work out that Pain/throb/burn").
Bikram Yoga, hot and sweaty- ("Can be a bit distracting what with all the skimpy clothing, outlines/wetpatches- I can only imagine what the people behind me are seeing when I bend over")
Its all in the delivery though, not so much what you say as how you say it- I can say something sexually suggestive without even realising that I'm saying it- I think theat men pick up on the innocent/naive and provocative dichotomy; the educated and spendy ones at least.

Hey I just messed up my back... Stupidly.. Listen - if you can help me I'll forever be in your debt!! I just had a baby in April. I waited more than 6 weeks before I started exercising. Before I got pregnant I was doing 500 sit-ups a day. I'd usually break 'em in 250 maybe in morning and 250 in the evening. Sometimes I'd do them all at once in reps of 50 - taking a 10-20 minute break after 250. I do a lot of pole - so the sit-ups I did to build core strength (which I had but wanted more..) Anyway - more than 6 weeks after the baby I started sit-ups again. I thought maybe I'll just do 250.. But I got to 50 and kept going... Somewhere between 50 and 60 I wrenched my back something horrible!! At the time I felt like I could barely move.. I've been walking an hour every night up hills with 8lbs. strapped to my ankles - I do as much pole as I can (which is NOT much since my muscles have atrophied..) I haven't done sit-ups since. I'd like to - but I still feel that feels no in my back. It's forward bending that hurts worse *ironic kinda...* than back bending... I'm about to go do some pole - pole is easier to handle for me than anything because right now I suck at it - I can tell how my body is going to handle or react to my movements before it's too late. I'm starting to get my body waves back - but that stiff painful feeling is still there in my lower back. Only when I move a certain way - but any suggestions on how to get rid of this...? I'm thinking about getting x-rays or something because I thought the sharp stiffness would go away by now... And although it only hurts when I bend a certain way - when Infeel it - it's almost fucking debilitating!! I'm sorry... I didn't mean to hijack the thread - but you sound like you might know a thing or two - so if you have any advise or if you're familiar with this sort of situation and have any helpful advice - I'd certainly be in your debt!!

Doesn't matter if it's cheesy if you look excited and mean it! Plus you can always be like "omg if I had more money I'd get some sexy stuff from Bloomingdales! *wink*" ;)
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
^ Zorn, I think that sounding like I know what I'm talking about is what makes me a good hustler! Confidence goes a long way.... and when I get caught BSing I tailor my response to the customer's personality and either play it off as "dumb blonde" or even just come clean "I was trying to impress you with my knowledge- you caught me".
I don't really do Yoga regularly (or know how to rehab backs) but in line with this thread that's how I would make vanilla hobbies sound sexually exciting :D or did I misinterpret your meaning?
Anyways, good luck with your back... I'm actually recuperating myself; the doctor gave me core and back support stretches for strengthening (everyday for 3 months), suggested swimming and hot water exercise rehab. Plus see a physio. x

lololol that was pretty good! Yea - I'm just trying to rebuild strength - starting to get some of my pole strength back - stretching more than anything - forward bend stretching for that spot on my lower back. It's definitely not as bad as it was - I might get it checked out - couldn't hurt (no pun intended lol) That was funny as shit though - I often mesh well with the dumb blonde hustle because I haven't been doing it as long - it's an easy go-to hustle for me - and some guys find the whole wide eyed dumb thing oddly endearing... lolol
Re: The "What do you do in your free time?" Question
I'm finding that I rotate between various answers to this question. Sometimes it's the ditzy shopping/bars answer with mention of being bisexual thrown in (THAT is always funny, then they start wanting you to give opinions on girls; great segue into selling a double dance). Sometimes it's the truth. Sometimes it's something semi-smarter (I minored in chem, so I sometimes say I'm getting a degree in biochem). It depends on the customer.

If you just had a baby, it's VERY likely you have diastasis recti (a separation of the abdominal muscles that occurs in 79% of women postpartum) and Sit ups actually make it worse AND because of the separation, you can throw your back out super easy (since our Ab muscles keep our back in alignment) I practice contortion but after each of my kids I had to heal the Diastasis Recti before getting back into my flexibility and exercise routines. Look it up and there are tons of sites on how to workout your abs with postpartum D.R. Good luck and congrats!
