You may get real interest if you link a website that lists the platform's info. Even the name of the app. We like to know how companies are operating. We drool over numbers and stats.
For those wondering, here is some of the info they should have posted, from their FAQ page http://www.vidioo.me/index.php/faq.html
1. What is Vidioo?
Vidioo is a live video chat community, where service professionals, businesses, artists, musicians and actors can earn money and chat on live video with people in need of professional service or advice from all over the world. If you are a service professional then you can post a listing for the service you want to provide on live video and can choose how much you want to be paid to chat on live video with members. In addition you can use Vidioo to make FREE video calls to any of your friends, family and colleagues. There is no limit to only service professionals, artists, musicians or actors. You may video chat with all Vidioo members who are in your contact list.
2. How do I start a video call?
After creating an account, you can invite contacts to install Vidioo or start to chat immediately with those contacts who already have Vidioo installed which will be in your contact list with the Vidioo logo icon.
3. How do I become a Vidioo call host?
Anyone can become a video call host. Please find the "Post Chat" screen in the menu bar and sign up for an account. Follow the steps and fill in information we ask about yourself to prove authentication. You must be over the age of 18 to be approved and we only ask you a few simple questions for verification purposes. You must also provide us with your photo id. Vidioo's administrator team makes sure to verify each piece of information supplied by you carefully to avoid any future spam. We do not tolerate any activity with minors or any adult activity. Once your account is approved, you will receive an email confirmation and notification alert to your phone and you can start to create a chat.
4. How do I post a chat listing to get paid?
From the menu bar you can go to "Post Chat" menu or from "Explore Chats" you can tap on the plus symbol on the top right corner. You must be a verified approved member in order to post a listing. Once you are approved you can create an unlimited number of postings. Simply write your your profession and a description of the service you are offering on live video. If you are providing a free chat then you will not get paid. If you are offering a paid service then you must specify the dollar amount you want members to pay you for service. A member must then request to chat with you and you will need to approve the chat. Once approved the member will initiate the chat and a call will be placed and you are free to chat with the member for as long as you want, upon ending the call the member must provide user feedback and will then be initiated to release the payment to you. Once the member has released the payment to you then you will receive the payment within 45 days.
5. How much should I post my services for?
It is up to you! only you know how much your service is worth. Remember members are paying a one time flat fee, and you will not get paid per minute for chatting so please be fair to members and do not charge an extremely high price.
6. What are the commission rates?
Vidioo's commission process provides a 70/30 net percentage model.
All merchants will receive 70% commission. Vidioo's fee is a 30% flat fee of your posting rate.
An Additional 30% Fee is deducted to pay for Apple or Google In-app purchase billing service.
The additional fee is deducted from the total price the chat has been listed.
The video host commission is determined only after the Apple or Google fees have been deducted. Example - If a video host has listed a $10.00 posting rate, a 30% fee is deducted which remains $7.00 then the video host will receive 70% of the remaining which totals commission to pay the video host $4.89.
7. How and when do I get paid?
If you are providing chat for paid services than you will be paid. It is up to you the video host to render the correct service on video to the member who paid for your service. After you finish chatting with a member, the member will be prompt to release your payment. The member will also leave feedback so make sure you render the correct service on video. In order release your funds to you, the member will be asked if the service has been rendered correctly and will be prompted to release your funds. Once the member has agreed to release your funds, you funds will be released to you within 45 days. If a member does not think the service has been rendered then the member can choose to not release any funds. If you have rendered service but have not been paid please email [email protected].
8. Where do you issue my payment?
Payments will be sent to you by Venmo and not Vidioo. In order to get paid you must have a verified Venmo account. You must also provide your email address to Vidioo that is associated with your Venmo account upon Vidioo's merchant account creation. If you do not have a Venmo account, please sign up for a Free Venmo account. There is no other way to release your funds. Vidioo does not support any other transaction release forms. The payments will come directly to your Venmo account within 45 days. For more details on Venmo, please visit https://venmo.com/
Looking like a no go for ladies wanting to use this for those wanting to use this as a camming source.
#6 says commission is 70/30 AFTER an initial 30% is taken out. We would get more like 48 or 49%. I don't get why the 'additional fee' wouldn't have been factored into the commission split, but whatever.
#7 screams scammer friendly imo. Services ARE NOT pre paid. The customer DECIDES wether or not services were rendered and CHOOSES to pay or not pay. If you DO get paid it can be a 45 day wait. Plus: Risk of Reversals, Chargebacks and Claims https://venmo.com/legal/us-user-agreement/
When you receive a payment, you are liable to Company for the full amount of the payment plus any fees if the payment is later invalidated for any reason. This means that, in addition to any other liability, you will be responsible for the amount of the payment, plus applicable fees if you lose a claim or a chargeback, or if there is a reversal of the payment. If a sender of a payment later disputes the payment or files a claim for a chargeback, the debit or credit card issuer or the originating bank, not Company, will determine whether the dispute is valid and to whom payment is due. You agree to allow Company to recover any amounts due to Company by debiting your balance. If there are insufficient funds in your balance to cover your liability, you agree to reimburse Company through other means. If Company is unable to recover the funds from your primary funding source, Company may attempt to contact you, Company may recover the funds from your alternate funding sources, or may take other legal actions to collect the amount due, to the extent allowed by applicable law.
#8 only 1 choice for payment processing. It can only be used in the US. If you choose to use this for camming, you are screwed. Venmo is related to PayPal https://venmo.com/legal/us-user-agreement/
Venmo App is a payment service that helps you make payments to and accept payments from third parties. You may use the Venmo App on your mobile device or through a web browser. For the Venmo App service, Company is only a Payment Service Provider. Company operates as an authorized delegate and agent of a licensed money transmitter, PayPal, Inc., or as a licensed money transmitter itself, in certain jurisdictions - see https://venmo.com/legal/us-disclosures/ for additional information and for disclosures that Company is required to post by certain jurisdictions. PayPal is responsible for the handling of funds and the proper completion of transactions initiated with the Venmo App in those states. Note that the Services are regulated in other jurisdictions and are not limited to the states listed in the linked document. Company has no responsibility for the actions of your transfer recipient or for the subject of the transfer. We do not guarantee the identity of any Venmo App user or that a sender or a recipient can or will complete a transaction.
Also:
You agree you will not use the Services to violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation Relating to sales of:
counterfeit goods;
narcotics, steroids, certain controlled substances or other products that present a risk to consumer safety,
drug paraphernalia,
items that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity,
items that promote hate, violence, racial intolerance, or the financial exploitation of a crime,
items that are considered obscene,
items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction,
certain sexually oriented materials or services,
ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, or
certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law
OP, PayPal IS NOT adult friendly. Your payment processor is not adult friendly. You should double check with them to see what kind of services can be rendered by us sex workers (there are ladies here that teach and speak at sexual health seminars, sexual safety courses, trade shows/conventions, etc) if it is associated with this app. Also, Venmo has money transfer limits. $299.99 a week and $2999.99 a week after they have verified the user (one option to verify is by linking to Facebook, that's awesome! o.O)
Actually that's why she posted all of the rules so that models here can make an informed decison.
So the break down is example $10 ( 30% fee) = $7 then there's another 30% free = 4.89 Hmm from $10 to below 5? that's roughly 40-45% commission. I don't see how this will work with paypal. Also the member will be prompted to "RELEASE PAYMENT?" EH that sounds like a disaster. There are dozens upon dozens of guys that don't want to pay to cam with models and this would be the first app that they'd sign up for. What will eventually happen is that models would use the app and take prepayment elsewhere or at the very least just use a different app all together. The costs are too high, the risk of not getting paid is too high and then paypal doesn't allow adult transactions. Plus the percentage? Not good why get paid 40-45% when you can take your traffic right to your own phone prepaid at 100%.
It's just not highly beneficial to the model in any way. Plus they want your traffic so it's not like they're investing in the business to bring you customers. Instead they want you to bring your own customer base so you can just hand over 60% of your hard earned money? No this will not do.
They need a better payment processor, no chargebacks, no paypal and also no 60% cut FROM models.
Also many say" review the rules on the site" but here we discuss rules, and TOS openly so everything is fully aware what's in store.
You know what? This is how we are on this site. We can look up the rules, restrictions, etc of every other site and service we use also. Doesn't keep us from posting stuff they have in the FAQs and TOSs and discussing that site or service here. I had to go to 4 different sites to find the info I found. I like to be INFORMED before ASKING questions. If there are things I was wrong or misinformed about, simply say so. GIVE US THE CORRECT INFORMATION. You don't need to be all super secret or beat around the bush. Things go a lot smoother on this site when reps are willing to answer questions so we can UNDERSTAND their service/product. You should know this already https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sh...cam-iPhone-app
I initially thought this could be a good option. A lot of us see PP and avoid it like the plague though. How am I supposed to know you have other payment options when they are not listed? Now, if your payment methods are adult friendly, is the double pay based off the amount before or after the processing fees?
Wait and then models have to wait 45 days to get paid? Wow seriously who thought this was a good idea needs to be shot on sight. No one needs to work that hard and that long for a paycheck. Seriously? Plus you're using instant style tech but your payments are on some uber snail mail horse and buggy delivery system? Come on now. No one is going to do this . Try telling the customer base "hey pay now and I'll do a show for you in 45 days" and see how fast they laugh in your face. This is wrong on so many levels. I mean don't models have snapchat and kick. I barely just downloaded snapchat and can't use it because they want you to link your facebook. The new system of camming is getting paid in a day or so max two week not 45 days.
if you are a steady serious model thats going on everyday for hours then we will pay you every single day.
I saw the app and I think it will work for someone that is non nude or is just randomly hanging out with people on facebook. Facebook has monetized their accs now so people could honestly pay you thruough facebook which again is the problem. IF someone ads you on facebook, you can take payment there and make the app "free entry" for all those that paid you prior.Even with facebook you're not supposed to be paid for "services" there as we already know there will always be that one guy that mentally off his rocker that will torment you through a social media outlet.
What is it about Double Pay at the top of your thread.? There's nothing in the app that shows this or is it a promotion?
Also just saw this :
So non sexual content I suppose it great but again this means the models's customer base is looking for "in general" just the opposite. So if she does something nude or sexually explicit she could probably be booted off way before those 45 days even come up.
- not to ask for or offer sexually explicit material, and/or material harmful to children,
Yeah sounds way to scammy especially when it comes to adult industry work.
If this was " cooking show or explain how to change your oil in show" then that would be totally different.
