Sorry but I do not get while batman and superman need to fight each other. Is this because of Bruce Wayne's ego or Clark Kent's messiah complex?
It is the need to sell movie tickets.
Batman is afraid that super heroes with powers might go rouge and nobody would be able to stop them. In the comics he has figured out each super heroes weakness and has it filed away just in case he need to stop them. In the comics, Batman doesn't like that Superman is all powerful and follows the law to the letter (a goody two-shoes). And Superman doesn't like Batman because he's a vigilante and will break the rules to fight criminals and answers to no one.
In the recent movie, Batman blames Superman for the destruction of Metropolis, somehow. Batman's kind of unhinged here, maybe due to the death of Jason Todd (he kept the crowbar?!). I much prefer the way the animated series handled their first meeting:

BTW, if this new version of Bruce is so ready to kill, how is the Joker still alive?
Yeah, and that turned out to be a really bad idea.
ETA: Raziel beat me to that while I was getting a snack. But that story would make a great Justice League movie. There was an animated version that replaced Ra's al Ghul with Vandal Savage, I think.

They did it. They actually did it.
THEY RECAST HAN SOLO.
Well, Harrison always hated the part. He's been bitching about it for decades. Why not recast it. I'll wait and see the film. They recast Chewbacca in the force awakens (sort of, peter mayhew couldn't do all the running around, so he's in the close shots and it's someone else in the long action shots).
Edit: Disney is going to exploit this property as much as they can. Its a fact of life. I just want a movie that focuses on Darth Vader.
FINALLY got to see "Civil War" last night and really enjoyed it. There's a lot of story and characters packed in, but everything flows well. I still wish they hadn't spoiled Spider-Man in the trailer, but he was great in this. At least they didn't spoil Giant Man, so that was a surprise. I was also impressed by the de-aged Robert Downey, Jr. in the flashback.
Too bad they couldn't fit Hulk and Thor in this.
Tonight's "Game of Thrones" :'(:O:eek:!
And the latest to join the cast of "American Gods" is... Gillian Anderson.
Hurry up and air, please.
