My question is what are the Pro's and Con's of being a sex operator...So that new PSO knows what to expect from the client and the business itself...
Feel free to even suggest good companies and list of those to avoid .

Hi & welcome..please feel free to check out the Other Work section, where there's lots of info. Thanks.
*looks at mood: Dont feel stress, relax...hehe
Hiya back, i did check other threads , still learning how to use this program, to be honest, hehhehe
Speaking as a PSO myself, pros and cons are really relative. What I might love about it, someone else might despise and vice versa. Give it a try!
Here ya go https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sh...ght=Nite+Flirt
This's in Cam Conn, it does have cam w/phone, but it's mainly phone. Like I said, there's tons of threads in Other Work. Also, there's a site called textilicious.com, a texting site, but they have phone sex threads too.
thank you! i will consider it, if i get the job
Xania the only thing I can say for sure is...expect the unexpected. You can and WILL get all types of calls, depending on the companies you work for, and I do mean allllllll types. Some callers will try to push your boundaries but you can always hang up and block. Some callers are even into very obviously illegal shit, and you have to know how to handle those..again, if you're uncomfortable you have the choice to hang up or even decline the call completely. If it's something you know nothing about (some fetish or other) the best thing I can suggest is to try to get the caller to talk about it a little and learn something lol.
One of the pros is that for the majority of companies, you make your own schedule. But, one of the cons is that the better companies like niteflirt really need a good amount of self promotion on twitter and such.
The only thing I can tell you is that the best thing to do is look around to see which sites suit you the best.
tl;dr There will be crazies. A lot of them. Laugh it off or hang up and block. It's your show, you work when you want and how you want, but it takes a fair amount of promo work unless you're with a dispatch company. Relax!! You'll be fine dahhhling
Thank you so much on taking the time to respond to me! :) I am very nervous at idea to not know about certain things and lose a customer. BTW
I was wondering if stalking ever happen in PSO jobs and if so, how do you deal with it?
I have been a PSO for over eight years and stalking has never been an issue. As long as you never divulge personal information to the caller - he will not have any way to track you down and stalk you.
Most companies and all platforms route calls to your home phone number, and your number is never revealed to the customer.
There are still a few of the older companies that require that you call the customer back, but you use call blocking when you do so.
There are more risks involved when working for this type of company because there are ways for callers to get around the call blocking - but thankfully there aren't that many call-back companies still around, and you can always avoid working for them.
Don't allow the fear of stalkers keep you from becoming a PSO.
Wait what? Call the customer back? Which companies are these I've never come across them..to me it sounds like a can of worms.
And yea, just don't reveal any information that's too personal. Tell them you live in a whole different state if you have to because some of them do try to push for location (eww). Just know enough about the area that you can lie about it, or just give vague answers.
They are known as Call Back Phone Sex services.
The caller will call the company's dispatcher who will take the caller's credit card information and process the charge, and then will contact the operator (generally via YIM or AIM), providing the operator with the caller's name, call-back phone number, and any information regarding the call such as amount of time purchased/authorized, type of call, etc. The operators are required to have unlimited long distance calling plans on their phone, and call the customer back to do the call.
There are a number of companies out there that still operate this way, but a few that come to mind are DMB Times, Chloe Enterprises, Symmetry Concepts, House of Phone Sex, and Wet Dita.
i worked for a call back company back in the day. It was more trouble than the $ was worth to be honest, and had the most hair raising calls. Def not good for a newbie phone sex operator.
Woooowwwwwww there are so many holes in that plan but I guess if they're still around they must be doing something right! I guess you could always use a voip service or something? I've heard of Chloe Enterprises though!
Most call-back services will not allow you to use anything other than a landline phone.
I worked for a call-back service shortly after I began as a PSO; but IMO, this type of service is dated and there are just better options for companies to utilize.
Toll free service providers now offer the ability to transfer calls-in-progress, so it would not be difficult for the dispatcher to just forward the call to an available operator once charges have been processed. It would force the company to pay more in toll free calls, but would be much better for both the operator and the client in my opinion for some of the following reasons:
- The client would be protected because his name and call-back phone number would not be in the hands of every operator - therefore protecting his privacy.
- The company would be able to see the actual amount of time spent on the call and not be forced to rely on the operator's word.
- The operator would be protected because there is zero chance that her phone number would appear on the client's phone should she forget to block her number when calling the client back; if the client has anonymous call rejection on his phone that doesn't accept calls from blocked numbers; if he was using Call Trap or a similar service that displays numbers of blocked calls; or had detailed billing on his cell phone that displayed all call numbers.
There are still a number of companies that operate under this method, but I consider it to be out-dated, and as you can tell, I'm not a fan. ;)
Xania,
Now, I have read your post several times and I decided to comment. First of all, Stripper web has tons of advice in the other work section that talks about phone sex. Second, have you did your research? Listen, I have been a pso since the age of 18 and no one spoon fed me anything. Yes, it is great to ask all types of questions but no one should spoon feed you the materials. I have work everywhere from platforms like Niteflirt to direct-dial companies to chatlines to even call-back companies. You can try them all out! Why limit yourself to one company? It seems like you wants someone to spoon feed you some information about phone sex. For example, do you have a business plan? Is this just a temporary job for you or something you want as your career? Do you want to become a career pso? Do you have a marketing plan? Do you have your own characters? No, you do not have to ask yourself this now.Third, have you into other forms of sex work including cam modeling and stripping? Many girls on here are just not psos. Some ladies love camming or stripping more than phone sex. Some girls make their income off clip productions. Then you are worried about stalking by your customers? Sorry but that is kind of a stereotype unless you are going around telling your customers about your real life. If you are going to meet your pso customers off your line....then you would invite danger. Anyways, best of luck with the job interview but you should know that being a pso is not easy :) PS: You should always have listings on Niteflirt and Talktome.com. This way, you can take your career into your own hands. Do not start direct-dial as a newbie.
Lol well I learned something today!
Ok enough threadjacking.....Xania, just go for it. The best way to learn this business is by trial and error. Like DonaDiabla was saying, direct dial is not for beginners. Honestly, I myself don't even do it. I'd suggest starting with a dispatch company or a chatline, and yes, having listings on Niteflirt and Talktome.
