I had great success with getting them back there, then saying "Just so you know, I usually sell 15 minute blocks for $100. The DJ likes to cut songs at 2 mins, so this makes sure you get your money's worth!" The DJ didn't actually cut songs, it often worked out in my favor as I only danced 4 songs when he let them run on, and the guys thought they were getting a deal. As a bonus, most of the guys were perfectly willing to pay up front for the time block, versus for individual dances.
Obviously appeal to your crowd; I used the "get your money's worth" line because of these blue collar guys. You can say something like "So we can just enjoy ourselves and not count songs", etc. if the situation seems right.
