Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
I, still being a newbie, BUT having the wonderful connection of SW, tend to sit back and just analyze the girls a lot. Most of these ladies literally just walk around the club "want a dance?" And walk off over and over. I used to do this because it's just what everyone did, til of course I learned through here about actually taking time to talk and hustle. Are most girls at your club like this? And do you see it as an advantage or do you help them?

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
Yes. But some of us are better than others too. I help when I feel like helping; if I can get her in the room too. Directing a girl towards a good custie (after i've spent some time with him etc. But if she never returns the favour I do notice and it makes me less likely to go out of my way in the future for her specifically.
I avoid helping dancers who are bitchy or do dirty dances and I try and 'pay it back' where applicable.
No brainer.

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
I wouldn't call it hustling... They sit and talk for a loooong time and I honestly rarely see them get anything from it. Hustling has to have a certain amount of sales in it, or else the ability to make the guy sell himself bc he's decided he really likes you. Just chatting with them doesn't make it hustling.

First, you are there to make $$$ right? If so, how much are you getting paid to sit & analyse the other girls? If 'Approach -- "Wanna dance? No? Ok" -- walk off' is the typical MO, sounds like there isn't much to analyse.
Onto the 'to help or not to help' question. Giving tips or suggestions here&there is one thing. Trying to get another girl in on a room if the customer fancies her, sure -- provided she won't put you in a dangerous spot. But going out of your way, tho … again, you are the only one there interested in paying your bills. Worry abt your own progress first.
You also stated that you're still new, having recently returned to dancing. TAKE YOUR TIME getting to 'know' other girls. IMO you're wasting time 'analysing' the wrong thing. Who gives a flying fk abt another girl's hustle style? If her hustle sucks, then that can mean more $$$ for you! What you should be looking for is whether she is a Drama Llama or otherwise troublesome, or whether she may actually be relatively chill, sane, & not looking for an opportunity to fk you over.

So much this! A lot of girls seem to camp out with a guy forever and just wait for him to mention dances. Just because you may eventually get dances this way, it doesn't make it a hustle!
You can do a smarter hustle without necessarily "taking time to talk". Things as simple as instead of asking "want a dance", using a line that isn't a question, something like, "let's go for dances", "I know you want to take me for dances", something like that. Always assume the sale. And never say "dance" singular.

Yeah I'd say my club has a lot of Chatty Cathy types as well, with only a handful that can really work the room or get a customer into VIP/CR within a few minutes of talking. I've also been trying to help a new girl at my club because she is legitimately sweet and innocent (TOO sweet) which costs her. I did steer her to a VIP last shift with a guy I had just done a room with. I knew he still had money and my stripper spidey senses told me he would like her. She was so excited because she told me she hadn't even sold a single dance in 2 days..(??!!!).A lot of girls just aren't aggressive enough or can't seem to separate the spenders from the time wasters.

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
^ yeah a certain amount is instinct as well. I spent about 25 mins with a guy last night (though it was interspersed with a stage set and a few dances for another guy) bc I had a feeling with a bit of investment he'd e worth something. I got a half hour CR from him. But normally you have to give them 2-4 songs (depending on the clubs vibe at the time) and walk away if they aren't spending.
You'll learn to recognize when a guy is intentionally wasting your time. It just takes time.

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
That's in general....you can tell if a customer wants to spend money on you within the first five-ten mins of the conversation. if he doesn't, keep it moving and onto the next. But I believe an actual conversation vs one question of do you want a dance is ALWAYS better. Most men of course want a dance but to take time and actually start a conversation and make them feel wanted is always better than a girl who walks around to everyone asking the same question. Always better to make it personable. and yes you'll know if your wasting your time or not by the conversation. In my opinion.

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
^Yes it definitely needs to be something BETWEEN "wanna dance" and talking all night for free :p

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
Yeah most them seem like good hustlers. Only the newbies or the lazy broads or girls with low self esteem lack hustle skills.
And there are the mega hustlers - dancers that could sell ice to an Eskimo.
I used to work day shift and those are some of the most cut throat aggressive dancers you'll ever meet. Door hawking, mind games, and ratchetness all part of that territory.
-
Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
i work in a lower end club where most of the girls have only danced for a few months if that, so there are barely any hustlers. they're not very focused and always shitfaced. some sit with a guy all night just drinking and bouncing on their laps for free. yeah, it's sad.
-
Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
I love that!!! "They could sell ice to an Eskimo" now THAT is a real hustler. Lol for real. some girls just don't have that drive/motivation. have a quota/goal you like to reach daily and some females think it's good enough after they hit that goal. Not just dancing. Escorting etc...all occupations. you can NEVER have too much money. but hey that's fine with me, it's let's me collect what they didn't want to get. we are all working to live life NOT living life to just work.
but yes making a connection with a customer always make them feel more intrigued and men like to work/chase a little for what they want vs it just falling easy on their lap. Where's the fun in that. Also makes you seem/look bit more classy/worthy of your time.

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
I went to a club out of town a few months ago and those girls didn’t hustle AT ALL. They just waited to get on stage (stage money club),but I ran circles around those girls and BANKED.

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
I work at a wanna dance type club. Its busy and theres lot of girls. I would say 80% of the girls talk to everyone and do a one line hustle with success, 5% sit way too long with guys with moderate success and 5% don't have to hustle because they have regulars and the remainder just sit around and don't talk to anyone.
-
Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
I think in better clubs in bigger cities, more girls can hustle, but never most or a majority. I've never seen a majority of girls hustle well. There's always going to be a top 20% who make 80% of the money that walks in, and those are the ones who I consider hustlers. Most girls do not hustle.

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
Watching a great sales person do their thing is a work of art.
You are there to work, who cares what everyone else is doing that isn't making money.
You are NOT the manager, it is not in your job description nor are you getting paid to analyze & help all the other strippers there.
If the majority of strippers are sitting around the dressing room or at tables not doing anything. It is MANAGEMENTS JOB and what they get paid for.

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
I don't know I don't pay that close attention but there are some girls who are always complaining about not making money and they seem broke as shit all the time and I'm just like thinking "why do you keep coming back???" But its none of my business I've never tried to help anyone.
-
Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
The day shift yes, aggressively - swing/night shift most of them slack off

Which is a situation of their own making. They have the ability to learn and figure out the game just like everyone else does but it is much easier to complain than to do something about it.
You are being empathetic, but go getters, go get. Those type of girls can drain your energy and cost you money & they won't care. They will be the same situation year in & year out. Until they want to go for it & mix it up so that they are banking, nothing you can do.

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
edit: came off ruder than I meant. I said something to the effect of making your money and not worrying about all the other girls (crazies).

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
C'mon, I think she was just curious. It's natural to observe & wonder. Just cause you observe XYZ doesn't mean you're sitting around not making your own money.
2 years later & having worked a lot of clubs since then, I will say that I don't think 75% of girls truly 'hustle'. There's those that sit on their ass complaining they haven't made house. There's those that "wanna dance" everybody & then whine that they ARE trying even though they have got to know by now that that tactic doesn't work anymore. There's those that sit and chat for way too long and then think they're good at their job because they sold him 2 dances after half an hour.
'Hustling' to me is not just going up to customers, but a lot of other things. It's knowing who to approach, when to approach them, what sort of things to say, a sense of when they are wasting your time, etc. Some great hustlers talk to EVERYONE all night, making sure they can't eke even $10 out of a guy... some will sit in wait but have a killer instinct for who to pounce on for a CR when he does walk in... but both groups walk out with 80% of the money between them in the end.

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
My mistake, I guess that came off way ruder than I meant it. I apologize.
But to answer the question I wanna say the girls at my club cannot hustle for shit. There are girls at my main club that sit with dudes for ages hoping this guy will get some dances without her bringing it up. There are also girls at my club hunting for boyfriends(-cough-pimps-cough-), otc customers, their new drug dealer. There's a few "hustlers" in there apart from me but all the other top girls in there are well known as hookers (and this definitely isn't coming from the girls there because I do not believe anything they say)... So I don't know if they are that good at hustling really because I know they "meet" a lot of these dudes that buy very long strings of dances from them. I personally love that these girls don't have any clue how to hustle or make men do what they want them to do. -shrug-
I have visited clubs before in bigger cities where all the girls know how to hustle, and that makes it extremely hard to make any money when there's way more girls than guys (at least it's harder for me, personally). So I guess I myself don't really know how to hustle except in smaller cities/smaller or midsize clubs... Just my 2 cents.

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
The girls at my first club did just what your club does. “Wanna dance?” My new club actual hustling goes on.

Re: Can the MAJORITY of girls at your club hustle?
It is great you want to help, but it is managements job.
No good deed, goes unpunished.
We are just trying to save you some heartache by trying to help these other ladies.
All they will do is drain your energy & pester you for loans. They will stick by you to complain & bitch night after night until your sales are affected by them. Leave them to their own misery. Been there, speaking from experience.
They will want rides & to be roomates, all the time you are supporting them.
Everyone there has the same opportunities to hustle like you do, nothing is holding them back but themselves.
