Oh no, did not realize this!
I like benefit "They're real" mascara too. I hope they're animal friendly.
Glad you told me this!

if it is sold in China it is tested on animals. They ended the mandatory testing requirement for some beauty products in 2021, but it will still be the easiest option to them.
Try this, from Ulta.
I just have 1 coat on, w/clear over it

^^thanks girl! I want my makeup to be animal friendly.
Check out elfcosmetics.com, they've great, low price and cruelty free stuff.
Their prices go up in a couple days.
Heard great things about their latest mascara, the older ones are good too.
Target & Ulta carry their stuff too.
I use elf too, so that's good to know.
I bought overnight recovery cream from Pacifica and it's not really clear to me if this is meant to be used in addition to moisturizer or in place of it. I think it must replace moisturizer, is that correct?
My holy grail skincare product are Stridex Red pads, they are 2% salicylic acid. My skin is nearly completely clear as long as I use it every night & I get compliments on it all the time now. (Also I apply to my underarms after my face and I don't get BO anymore) And they're literally like $3. If you're afraid of them being too harsh at first you can rinse the solution off after allowing it to rest on your face.
Also check all your product's ingredients to make sure it's not a specific product/ingredient breaking you out. https://www.cosdna.com/
Make sure your makeup brushes & sponges are clean in between uses, as well
Here's a few clean products, you buy at Walmart

I got hair extensions and Botox last weekend. I feel so attractive now. I hadn't gotten Botox since before the pandemic, because there didn't seem to be much point and I didn't have much disposable income. That year I cut my hair off into a short bob after damaging it with over-processing.
Now that I have long blonde hair and lifted brows, I look the way I do in Jan. 2020, which is how I prefer to look. The extensions were $$$ but so worth it. I love them. I may never go without them. They really upgrade my overall look. I'm getting Juvederm in my lips in a couple weeks and cannot wait.
^^ I freakin love Botox. I need some so bad. When I look at my before and after photos, it makes a huge difference.
Got some Gold bond neck cream. I may get Botox for the lines in my neck, too.
Ugh. Getting older sucks.
I meditated today and that always helps me look younger and more refreshed.
I'm resigning myself to needing to wear a silk bonnet at night. I've been using silk pillowcases for years, assuming that was the better way to go. But after even just a couple of days of switching back to my silk bonnet (from adorabellababy on etsy), I've noticed a huge difference in how my ends feel.
The key is to not overdo it. My doctor is amazing. She treats my 11s and they look better immediately afterwards. I get Xeomin rather than Botox, but basically is the same thing. I get 25 units so I look better, but I can still slightly move my face. She does a good job of making it look natural.
My hair color turned out too dark. I put some peroxide on my hair and now it's looking way better. Thank God my hair didn't turn orange.
Botox/Xeomin photos to come...
Here are my before and immediately after Xeomin photos:
(the results get better in a day or two)
I'm also realizing quickly that the bonnet prevents my skincare from transferring to the sides of my head and my roots. I moisturize pretty intensively at night, and i couldn't figure out why my hair would get greasy so quickly. The bonnet keeps skincare and hair separate in a way that a silk pillowcase cannot.
I was too but now I guess not. I have started developing undereye wrinkles, especially distinctive horizontal ones that paralel each eye right above the cheeks when I smile, so I was assuming I needed botox around the eyes but the thing is they don't do botox UNDER the eyes as far as I know, just on the sides where I have no wrinkles. I definitely don't want undereye filler, I asked my friend if I should start planning for a lower lid blepharoplasty and she said a fraxel laser would be better. It's currently only to the point where it's something only I notice but I'm assuming that's going to be my trouble spot as I age.
Upper and lower blepharoplasy is on my list too. I got hooded lids and now that i turn 30, the upper lids start looking... old/ wrinkly... idk. And lower, for the lines i start getting from smiling. A fresh eye area is alll i want! This would be my first anti- age procedure to get, in my early 30's. Then getting rid of the double chin. Maybe some lil plump on my lips.
Slowly going to get a vertical restore when I reach the 40's.
PS: My forehead looks like LoveyD's "after" pic :))) Because I am frowning a lot when I sleep.
This!
I always use a silk scarf. I'm mixed but I wear my hair straight, and wrapping it and tying it up in a silk scarf keeps the style and protects my hair! I am thinking of getting box braids for a Miami trip, and if I do, I will for sure be using a silk bonnet. So good to protect any type of hair.
I wear a satin lined hat..its a knitted hat on the outside..
I got it from amazon, 10.00, I liked my ulta one better, but it was like 20.09

I love anything silk and satin for my hair face and body
I'm back at it again looking for extensions specifically for the club and photo shoots. I have never used them. I'm intimidated by fake hair haha but I think having " more " hair will be a good look where I work.
Is there anything magic you can easily put in and then take out at the end of your shift EASILY ?
I don't want the bigger hair in regular life.
Yeah, i really thought that pillowcases would have the same effect. Nope. My ends are immediately healthier with a bonnet. It's nuts. I think it was especially bad that I'd go to bed with wet hair. The pillowcases don't protect and insulate your hair the way that bonnets do.
