Tips on Remaining Anonymous
I'm looking for advice on how I could disguise myself if I start dancing. I have another career, I'm self-employed so no issues there, but I want to start dancing (mostly for fun, and for myself, although who doesn't want to make extra money!). Any girls out there successfully living sort of a double life? My husband doesn't mind, but I'm more worried about clients from my other line of work recognizing me if they happened to show up. THanks!

Ummmm a nice wig and a magician of a makeup artist.

^Definitely make yourself look as unrecognizable as possible, but, depending on how bad it would be if you were to get caught, perhaps consider dancing outside your city, either somewhere that's an hour + drive away or going on strip trips for the weekend or whenever you have a couple of days free.

I second the idea of dancing far away from your hometown. I did that for years and it was so worth it, I never had to worry about getting "caught" by people I knew. Also, I have worked with many girls who have worn wigs while they danced and it wasnt a problem for them. and definitely practice doing your makeup totally differently, you can completely transform your whole look with makeup.

Hey there ! I'm self employed too so I know what you mean. I traveled to dance ( at least 3 hour by car ) from my main area of day job business income. I would usually do 2-3 nights in another city and work LONG club shifts to maximize the trip. I probably should have added a wig or something too but I was too lazy. Luckily it worked ( for years, hah ) !
I never got outed but I had a couple close calls. Is traveling an option for you or do you need to work in your own city ?
The main thing I recommend is to just not tell ANYONE other than maybe ONE PERSON ( such as your significant other ) who you absolutely trust if you are really concerned about privacy.

There is only one reason to strip - money. Repeat, MONEY. If you ever even thing for the slightest there is any other reason to dance, quit. Why, because there is no other reason to dance other than money. If you think that a client from your day job will discover you dancing, will that discovery cost you money or make you money. If it will make you money, then your existing clients are a built in group of potential regulars that you should tell just as soon as you start stripping. If them finding out will cost you money, then you know the answer to your career question.
