More effective teeth whitening
I've been using whitening trays made by my dentist for at-home bleaching, and I hate them. Bleach would get on my gums and irritate them, and it was a little ineffective for me. I met this woman who works in dentistry recently, and she had all sorts of awesome but conservative advice on getting a healthy and pretty smile. She said to ditch the whitening trays and just use a cheap cheek and lip retractor, then apply 22% whitening gel directly to your teeth, wiping any that gets on your gums off with a q-tip (much easier without the bulky trays). I've only been doing her method for three days, and my teeth are soooo much whiter; plus, I haven't been getting any gum irritation.
She sent me bleach and the retractor, but you can get both on Amazon. This is what the retractor looks like: http://www.amazon.com/AZDENT%C2%AE-D...heek+retractor
And again, she recommended no more or less than 22% whitening gel. I was having to use 14% with the trays because of irritation, but the 22% doesn't bother me at all now.
Be warned, you look like a fucking freak with it in, and you have to kind of recline so spit isn't falling out of your face. But I just put it on and watch some Netflix before bed. My boyfriend laughs his ass off, but whatever, I'm going to stay hot till I die, even if it calls for some ridiculous looking measures.
