Well, it is a good blender.
I own one, actually i got it about this time last year. Before i had oster cheap one.
Well vitamix blends everything very well and fast. Since i dont have a juicer, i first blend with a vitamix and after strain with cheese cloth or platinc strainer and i get my juice plus very easy to clean.
Also i made a sorbet from frozen peaches, took me like a minute.
Also i tried to blend cassava, vitamix made such a noice and i felt a smell of ( omg i burned a blender which cost 500$) but no it has a safe mode so it turned off before i can damage the blender.
Yes i do like my blender. Also blender has a warranti for 10 years.
But i have seen ppl were ok with their Ninja's.
Thank you, Miss Ju! I am the type of person that would rather but something of really good quality and keep it for years then buy something cheap and have to keep replacing it. I am getting it to juice. I would juice everyday but I absolutely hate cleaning my juicer. It is such a pain in the ass. Thank you for all of the info!
Yes, that blender would last for years. Also they make it here in USA. Blendec and ninja made in china.
I wanted to buy a juicer too, but i heard that people dont like to clean all that fiber so i was like..that fiber would mold there but i would not clean it.
But with vitamix very easy to blend everything in a second(blends even kale sterms so smoothly) and as i said before use mesh strainer(i bought on amazon set of them in different sizes for 7$)you just pour smoothie over and after you can rinse that fiber with water to get last drops of juice or just flip it over your trash.

Just in case if you want to get a good water filter which filters on 99%. And will work for years with the same filters.

I have also glass bottles which i take with me,i dont drink from plastic.
I have one. Yes, I would buy it again. Of the 2 sizes, I have the "tall" one. It also has "GC" on it (grand champion? I don't know). To me it fits in with Kitchen Aid stand mixers as "expensive kitchen appliance, but worth it, if you can use it." I had it for 5 years going on 6. I considered Vitamix, Blendtec, Ninja (and a few others) and went with the Vitamix. The Oster blender ($5 from garage sale) died on us which was what starting us shopping for a replacement. It was a 'treat' for my SO. It works like a dream even if it is commercial grade and overkill. I think you will appreciate it and like it.
We use it primarily for making blended soups: Butternut Squash soup (my fav), Carrot soup (my SO's fav), Hummus, pureed tomatoes and other sauces or soups, and fruit/yogurt/ice smoothies - in that order.
The thing is a beast. Is there something specific you want to know about it?
I have the Nutribullet for 1 1/2 yrs. now. It blends well and fast! I can even put broccoli, celery or bean sprouts in a smoothie and it turns out sooo smooth.
Btw, why strain the good stuff out of your juice?
For some ppl fiber is too heavy. They get bloated.
In this mo.'s O mag, she lists a $500.00 juicer in Oprah's Fav. Things. I forgot the brand name tho.
