Re: Payoneer making changes to global bank transfer - Did you get this email o
Anyone else in the UK who's not been paid this week for Streamate? I got two emails on Friday as normal, and my Payoneer account says it has been processed. It's never been later than Thursday morning (normally Tuesday), and it's now evening.
I keep checking live chat but apparently it's unavailable due to high volume of enquiries...

Re: Payoneer making changes to global bank transfer - Did you get this email o
I've just recently signed up for Payoneer bank transfer so that sucks that they are no longer offering that service in Canada and Chilie. The Payoneer bank transfer method is the way that I plan on traveling and getting out of the US to live abroad and save some of my hard earned money for my longer-term benefit and not just bills.
SM just sent my payment via Payoneer this Friday. Can anyone tell me when I should expect to receive it in my bank account?
Thanks!

Re: Payoneer making changes to global bank transfer - Did you get this email o
I got the Payoneer email so I asked if it was possible to get wire transfers to a Canadian bank. They replied:
"Please be advised that we unfortunately no longer support Global Bank Transfers for your partner ICF Technology.
However please note that we can support your ICF Technology transfers to a USD account or to a Payoneer Prepaid debit card."
So I assume this means if you have a US $ account in your Canadian bank, they can wire transfer. I have sent email asking for clarification and have been waiting a few days now.

I use the Payoneer card sometimes because one of the sites I work on occasionally doesn't do the bank transfer, and checks incur a $50 fee to cash for some reason, so I'm stuck with the Payoneer debit card. They nickel and dime the fuck out of you. I think it's 1% for every card transaction you make, and withdrawing from the ATM always ended up costing me 5% on top of the $3 ATM fee the bank itself charges. This doesn't make sense to me as I live in the US, but go figure.
I've done it all in my career of being in online adult work.
Streamte Checks take about a week to arrive, then if you want to deposit it at your Canadian bank depending on their mood they will put the check on hold for 15 business days. if you go to a check cashing place I usually go to money mart they take $2.99 plus 3% then the exchange USD to CAD on that day that they provide. There is no standard exchange rate every service out there they all have their own rate for buy and sell.
When I first got my payoneer card I was getting wire transfers their mistake when I wanted global bank transfer so when I saw the email saying they are no longer giving Canadians global bank transfer. I looked at their $15 fee to send a wire plus then my bank will take a fee to receive the wire as I would be losing money based on the current state of the Canadian dollar.
I figure with the prepaid master card payoneer provided and their fees listed on their website. that $2.75 per transaction withdrawals or purchases online. would probably work out better this time. and if over time things seem to much of a hassle or expensive I will just have to go back to getting check in the mail and using money mart to cash my checks from Streamate and Cams.com.
IT just a matter of timing when checks come in mail from both companies. its basically the price of being Canadian and doing business with foreign companies and dealing with exchange rates.

Ditto. They wouldn't even let me attempt to sign up when I tried about 6 months ago. Told me it wasn't available in Canada, even though it said it was on their website. Looks like they are pulling it out of Canada.
I've always used the pre-paid Mastercard and I usually just withdrawal all of the money and then deposit the cash in my bank account. The fees haven't been too bad for me.

Re: Payoneer making changes to global bank transfer - Did you get this email o
I'm wondering if they'll start including other countries. Maybe they're just starting off with Canada and Chile. It's too bad since it was such a great option.

Re: Payoneer making changes to global bank transfer - Did you get this email o
I didn't hear anything from Payoneer today. Surprise....surprise.
That is even emailing the address they gave me when they emailed me to contact them at to change my payment method and not regular support.

The crazy thing is if you think us Canadian girls have got it bad when it comes to getting paid from the US....the UK girls have it like 100% worse then we do! O.O

Re: Payoneer making changes to global bank transfer - Did you get this email o
Words can not express the frustration I feel that Payoneer has know for at least six months that they were having enough issues with global transfer in Canada to inform new customers that they were unable to sign up but felt that 3 days notice about the program ending and needing to set up a new form of payment was good enough notice for their existing customer-based.

Re: Payoneer making changes to global bank transfer - Did you get this email o
Hm I'm wondering if my transfer is going to go through in USD. I got an email from payoneer just now. The employees were unable to see my receiving bank account address or swift code, and my bank uses many different 1s depending on the currency. They told me that swift transfers are not allowed unless in USD and that they no longer convert USD to CAD. Hoping it works out

yea I do the same thing I withdraw all the money and then deposit it in my account.
Maybe cause the CAD is so bad that's why they stopped global transfers? I cant think of any other reasons...

Re: Payoneer making changes to global bank transfer - Did you get this email o
I just heard from Payo, and if I understood their email correctly, what they are saying is that ICF specifically is no longer a global bank transfer partner or whatever they are called. ICF will from now on, only transfer funds to the debit card. I don't know if that is only for Canadian girls or girls from other places too as far as SM is concerned. In addition, Payo itself (the company) will apparently still do global bank transfers for Canadians from other funding sources that still participate in the global transfer program. That is what I gathered from what they wrote in their response to me, hopefully that is what they mean too lol. I told them to go ahead and transfer SM funds to the card, and keep the rest like before. I took a big break from camming so I will see how it goes when I start having money coming in again, especially since my card was expired so I'm waiting for a new one to arrive.

Re: Payoneer making changes to global bank transfer - Did you get this email o
They might have reversed the "grandfathering" for some of the older clients. We were told that GBT wasn't directly available when we made our corporate account last year because we were from the U.S., but sites that had been around longer than us (other U.S. sites) had this feature. There is an easy-ish workaround we found for our own non-US models, so it isn't a real impediment to our business any more.

Vlodina my money was late too. scary times.
The card charges you $29.99 annually just to use it doesnt it? This really really sucks and I feel for you Canadians and Chilean girls

Re: Payoneer making changes to global bank transfer - Did you get this email o
I still haven't receive any money. I guess I will have to fight with them on Monday about it.
Edited to add: I never received any response to my email either.

I'll be able to confirm or deny this next week I hope. I have other US companies that pay me via Payoneer in USD with the global transfer so we'll see. That's pretty shitty of SM to do that if its the case

That's nothing. The fee for the transfer now is 15usd (I think thats 20 cad atm) Plus my bank charges i think $13.50 to accept the transfer and convert to CAD funds. And I'm pretty sure that's the cheapest of bank fees for this around here. So that is something over $30 each week just to get paid. Pretty fucked up. I already have had the card for MFC payments and it has been fine so far in comparison to this shitstorm

I finally got my SM payment and loaded it on to my card. I hope that doesn't happen again,

Re: Payoneer making changes to global bank transfer - Did you get this email o
Basically the payoneer card is shit for anyone outside of the US. Try to use it here in UK and they look at you like you got two heads, and it's bloody expensive. Payo are twats when it comes to some sites - for years theyve insisted they cannot do GBT for skyprivate as they are not a "GBT partner", yet i know two other UK ladies who get it for that site! They just pick and choose who to be akward with
@Adriana MFC is a partner. I get mine via gbt for them x

Re: Payoneer making changes to global bank transfer - Did you get this email o
^^I use my payoneer card for everything in Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Switzerland even out on the islands I use it anywhere I travel and I have never ever once had anyone question it. I have also used it in London and had no problems. Its accepted everywhere mastercard is accepted.

Re: Payoneer making changes to global bank transfer - Did you get this email o
It's accepted but no shops have a ckue what it is or HOW to accept it. Ive had one for years and hate it, it is relegated to online shopping duties only. Anyway we shall see soon as MFC payout is today!
