Re: BongaCams Official CC Thread - it's actually not that bad!
Jess, i read somewhere on site or in one of the forums (here or ACF) they pay same like SM but instead of GMT they use bonga time which is GMT +2.
So saturday to sunday at midnite bonga time is the cut time.
On model's dashboard they display the clock at the right upper corner, they show BongaTime there so u can make the calculations with ur time in US.
This site has very good features by the way, looks pretty good for my taste lol.
What i could not see while streaming, there is no button or link or something to disconnect the stream but the 'Away' button only?
Which cuts my video but not empty my room? members were still there lol, what do i need to do to disconnect completely, lof off bonga from dashboard?
And while in AWAY mode, where i am placed on site if my room is still active?
I was just testing the site once for a short while after i been approved to get familiar with it & i blocked my country AND tried to see if i can open the site using a proxy, could not load it WHICH IS GOOD so the blocking works, not sure if u can pass the blocking if using VPN?!
I wanna make sure i can geoblock 'properly' lol and no VPN or proxy goes thru ;)
There are new things to learn about this site but i am willing LOL, i want to make it work for me & i hope they willing to listen to us and tweak a few things there to make our ways easier on site.
Compared to SM who lack communication big style these people are willing, they got scared by the avalanche of posts that's why they quiet.
Hey come back bonga, be present here cause we gonna need u ;)

It is my opinion to think twice about letting this situation deter you from working on Bonga and making money for yourself on the site. I'd hate to see someone a girl not make money because of this, although I do agree that you should work where you feel most comfortable. Please don't mistake this as me agreeing with Bonga because I absolutely do not. I think what they said about discussing the private beforehand is extremely ignorant. I realize the bigger picture of this issue. It's not about $1.90 but it's about the fear of not being paid, if a customer should complain.
While I agree that it is really up to personal choice or not whether someone keeps working for Bonga because pretty much all camsites are shady....I do have to disagree with your comment "Although most of us all do believe AC, the fact is none of us know what actually happened in that private."
We do know what happened in that private. Bonga's representative confirmed AC story. Where the current tension is coming from is that Bonga says that they do not do chargebacks or refunds.....unless you have committed token fraud and your own personal boundaries during a show can be considered token fraud by them.
Bonga has pretty much put it on the table that they get to decide whether a customer has been rude to you or not and it is up to them to decide when you are allowed to stop doing a show.
This little 'loophole' in their 'no chargebacks or refunds' policy goes beyond being shady. In essence, they are saying..."you'll get paid as long as you always do what we tell you to do....no matter what your own personal boundaries are."
Whether someone decides to work for them is risk vs gains personal choice decision but what can not be denied is that Bonga keeps pushing girls to join their site by claiming that it 'cares about its models' and that claim is a big load of bullshit.

Re: BongaCams Official CC Thread - it's actually not that bad!
No site cares about their models JAC, NO ONE, they claim they do but they dont, all they care about it's MONEY. Money rules ALWAYS.

I don't think that they have been scared away by the avalanche of posts. From Olga's last answer it would appear that she actually went to talk to someone about what was going on with AC case before coming back and answering.
My guess is she has gone back again to ask for guidance before she responds to us again.

Unless they change their policy you would never know when you could be working for free.

I can understand that. It's a business. The stupid thing is they have just screwed themselves out of a LOT of money lmao.

Re: BongaCams Official CC Thread - it's actually not that bad!
For now I am just using it for splitcamming with CB and not really focusing on that site of my view point. If I get added money from there then yay but I am not going to put in any effort to it until something changes with respect to this chargeback issue.

Re: BongaCams Official CC Thread - it's actually not that bad!
KatM anyone can see your room on any site by using a VPN or a proxy or whatever there's left.
-
Re: BongaCams Official CC Thread - it's actually not that bad!
When i tried to load bonga with the same proxy i check Sm it was not working but i am aware a paid vpn can pass the geo blocking tho i feel safer than w.o geoblocking at all.

Re: BongaCams Official CC Thread - it's actually not that bad!
The VPN I am using passes thru everything

Re: BongaCams Official CC Thread - it's actually not that bad!

Re: BongaCams Official CC Thread - it's actually not that bad!
Wow-fuck this shit. I'm gonna go on, get a guy's money refunded, and swear up and down in Russian. Cuz I'm fluent. Seriously, this sucks and AC I'm sooo sorry this happened. Hey bongs, we don't do this Shit for fun-in Western culture, "hurry up" is indeed being an abusive asshole. Someone not having enough money for a longer than two minute private isn't my problem. Guess what- on every other site, if someone tells us to hurry up, we slow down, sometimes ban, but ALWAYS get paid. Oh, and experienced cam girls can tell when a guy's in charge-gotcha ;)

Although Bonga gave their opinion on what happened from AC's story, until we see screenshots/video/chatlog of what happened, none of us except BC and AC know what really happened. Bonga says the guy wasn't rude, AC says he was rude, for example - 2 completely different interpretations from the same story.
I agree that it's completely shitty of Bonga to do this but I'm hard pressed to find a site that isn't equally as shitty in some way. :/ It all comes down to what makes you comfortable and where you want to work. For me personally, as I've explained in my previous post, I've never had these issues and it may stand to reason that I'd be a target for these issues as a non-nude model. I don't know :/
-
Re: BongaCams Official CC Thread - it's actually not that bad!
Really though, the issue isn't "was banning this guy justfied." We should be able to ban any person, at any time, without having to justify our reasons to the site OR worry about chargebacks (since Bonga is clearly advertising that they don't do chargebacks).
I've banned guys in the middle of private and exclusive shows many, many times. If he seriously pissed me off, made me feel horrible, refused to listen to my boundaries...you'd better believe they got banned. And on Streamate, I'm free to do that without worrying about my income.
Because let's not forget that these guys are paying PER MINUTE. The guy in question got what he paid for! We don't need to know exactly what happened during the show - she should have been paid for her time, end of story.
Seriously, it should not matter that AC ended the show. Let's say the guy was in a show with a model who doesn't do anal, and said "fuck your ass" instead of "hurry up." I personally believe that the model should be able to ban him if she wants to.
Is that necessarily the best business decision? Maybe not, but it really depends on what the model values the most. Some people (myself included) value their mental and emotional comfort over milking every last dollar out of as many people as we can. Because unhappy model=low earning model in a lot of cases. If I'm happy, comfortable, and feel like I'm in control of my room, I make more money. And what we're comfortable with should be our call to make, not some faceless person who works for the site.
And that's why I'm not going to give Bonga the chance to work with me.

This is exactly the point though.
Bonga should not have an opinion on whether or not the customer was 'rude'. This is something that the model should decide for herself as she is the one doing the show.

do you guys make ok money on bonga? so far i found out bonga is pennies earning potential

I agree. However, I still feel as though no one but BC and AC know what happened in that private. That's all I was trying to say.
In all of my statements, I am not defending Bonga at all. I don't like what they did but! I do make good money on the site and haven't had any charge backs / refunds / etc. :*( It's a tough spot to be in, believe me, and it sucks feeling like I have to fear of a refund of some kind. I feel especially at risk, as a non-nude model. But, the situation is what it is. We can all choose whether or not we want to work / continue to work on Bonga.

Maybe they come back with good news telling us they sort out the situation with that refund (paid the money to the model) and confirm they changed the TOS and thery will not take the money out model's pocket in ANY circumstance by now?
Man, i try to be positive, some of us really dont have many options u know, this is a site where I PERSONALLY could benefit off it considering many other sites dont work in my favor cause of my location.
Is not like i go on with the idea to work for free but hoping for the best.

I hope I didn't give the impression that I was judging you or I thought your were defending Bonga. I have no doubt that if I were in your shoes that I'd make the exact same decision that you have.
