1. Because they do not allow adult transactions and do not keep your identity from your customers.
2. I don't know, but if your plans are to scam the sites you work on by taking payment elsewhere, why not just offer skype shows on an indy listing site or something?
Please read the taxes sticky at the top of this section. If you're worried about camming messing up your government job, DO NOT CAM.
Girl, just don't cam if you are afraid it's going to fuck up your government job. Just don't.
but 1: because its against there terms of service and they will shut down your account and seize the money you have on them
2: the chances of getting banned is over 9000. seriously don't do it.

So, uh, government jobs have some intense interviews. Like, intense. They dig through all your shit and you give them permission to do so as soon as you apply--meaning bank records, tax returns (or lack thereof), etc.
If you lie to them about your stint in camming on the application, you're never going to get that job because the government investigator doing your clearance will find out. If the IRS finds out you've been evading taxes (and, they will), you're never going to get that job because, again, the investigator doing your clearance will find out. Porn is a disqualifier from some government jobs, but lying/hiding things? That's a disqualifier from all of them and you will get caught. Trust me--I've been called by three investigators to give character references for old roommates applying for security clearances and those dudes showed up at my house to interview me without warning. They're thorough motherfuckers.
BTW, the law is actually that you have to file with the IRS (which is FEDERAL) if you make over $600 in income in a calendar year doll. I dunno where you're getting this bizarro $16,000-$16,500 figure, but no. If you fail to file taxes and make over $600 total in 2016, you open yourself up to an IRS audit. No bueno.
Google Wallet and Square Cash are not adult transaction friendly to the best of my knowledge, and the dudes can charge back on you OR get your account closed down for violation of terms of service.
Chica--you ain't gonna make much if all you offer is super discrete under the table type independent shows and Chatubate is automatically going to send a 1099 with your earnings information to the fucking IRS once you start getting verified and earning tokens from them. You break $600 with them and you're getting it, so you'd better log off before that happens, huh? And yeah, if you're using Chatubate to do shows and getting paid off site, you will get banned.
More importantly, why the fuck play the smoke and mirrors game? Here's an idea: go get a job as a waitress and save yourself a helluva lotta stress!
Not to beat a dead horse at this point, but seriously--if your future plans hinge on a job where a history in the "adult industry" will fuck you over, don't start camming. Always, always, always assume that whoever you'd least like to find out WILL find out. The downshot to this shit paying so damn well (I mean, relatively) is that you pay back for it in loss of credit in the straight world. Camming--even indie camming--leaves a paper trail with the IRS, but it also leaves a trail on the internet, and there's no real way to completely separate your "adult" persona from you "real" one in Web 2.0.
Also, if you're using skype at all, you need to be using a private (read: paid) VPN or it will be pretty easy for customers to find you. And unless you can get dudes to pay you in bitcoin, there's no payment processor that you can use that is both sex work-friendly and won't have to be claimed on your taxes.
It sounds like you're in a rough spot right now, and I can see how you'd wanna find a way to make some cash ASAP, but it sounds like this could wind up biting you in the ass in the long run.

Just pick a randomcammodel, and dump your tokens on them.
Because it's something they really wanna do. It's not IMPOSSIBLE to still get a job like that after camming. I got a job as a teacher's aide in a daycare center in 2014, and I worked there for a little over a year (my last day was on Christmas Eve).
You can find the answers to all of your questions by spending some time reading more of the threads on here. But from the way you're freaking out (about what we're telling you) and telling us you're desperate, I think you should seriously think twice about this business. Saying that you're "desperate" and your "only option may be to escort"...that's not good. Getting into this business because you're desperate isn't wise. I feel like when you're desperate, you become a more likely target of being fucked over and scams.

I've cammed, escorted, massaged, lingerie waitressed and stripped. Girl. Someone always finds out.
Sounds like you want your cake and to eat it too.
Bitcoin, if you keep it in Bitcoin and never touch it, there's technically no way the IRS could know. However, if those bitcoins go up in value then you owe the capital gains tax on that increase. The real problem occurs when you cash it out for dollars or spend it on anything, then it becomes fully taxable income and failure to declare it is tax fraud - the criminal type, not the "oops I didn't know I'll pay the little penalty" type.
Security clearance, Isabelle pretty much covered it. They care that you lied and omitted stuff. Actual adult work history won't effect most jobs so long as it was legal and declared on your SF-86. Ditto for tax evasion and having inexplicable income.
IRS specifically declared Amazon gift cards are same as cash. There is a max value per year where Amazon will report to the IRS.
To hand you money, like in CB's case, is when you actually earned income. They'll need your payment info and tax info simultaneously. If you dump those tokens on another model, no harm done.
There's a few different IRS job codes you can use. They use these to determine what are "normal" deductions and expenses for what you do. Proper job code + Normal deductions for that job = less chance of an audit. "Internet Broadcasting" if you're just camming is a good one.
Dodging taxes is just a silly thing to try unless you're willing to spend as much money on lawyers and money laundering as you would have in taxes.
We all pay taxes. Such is life.
What? What? WHAT DID I JUST READ?
Okay, no. To all of what you said. You're trying to evade the government and, just trust me on this, they're smarter than you.
You're never going to hide this from the government. Never. Don't even bother trying. And you know what? If these are your ethics--lying, concealing, circumventing the system--you don't belong in a government job. Government contractors have access to information and things that no regular civilian employee does. That's why the search is so thorough. They don't want someone who's going to lie to them to avoid unpleasant consequences and the fucking public deserves better than that from their governmental employees.
Either go above board, or get lost and let it be on your own head. There isn't a single woman on this board who's going to help you evade the law or lie to the government when you're trying to get into a position that could involve you someday working with us.
Yes, unless it's from your family, gift cards count as income. It's money coming from clients for a service you provide so why wouldn't that be considered income?
And while chaturbate may not report your income to irs I'll bet google wallet and square cash will - if they don't it's still a paper trail with your identifying info linked to you.
Like someone mentioned above if you're intentionally trying to evade taxes please don't because the IRS will eventually find out. You and your earning/spending are being tracked to an extent further than you realize.

I can't believe you're freaking out about camming then saying you may need to escort.... how is that better for your job prospects exactly? You're going from something that's perfectly legal to something that's illegal. Everything Issabelle's saying is true regarding government jobs. Those people are thorough as fuck. They WILL find out. They may overlook it if you only cammed, but if you escorted? Kiss your government job prospects goodbye. I don't think you're really getting what we're telling you. I don't think this industry is for you at all. And I think you need to look into other ways of making money.
Fuck stickies, this should be in bold at the top of the camming section:
Camming is NOT easy money.
Camming is not for the feint of heart.
Camming is not for desperate people.
Camming is not for people concerned about how it's going to affect their future carreers.
Camming is not for people for whom it would be the worst thing in the world if they get outed.
You WILL at some point get outed.
You WILL have to pay taxes.
If you still have questions and want to ignore our advice here, please do us all a favor and read the threads in this section. At least read the stickies. Use the search function. Google if need be. We've all done our research, so now it's your turn.

I'm not going to go through question by question because that's a LOT of questions. But to answer a few of them in general:
If you break the rules on a cam site or payment site (giftcards, square cash, google wallet, etc) you run the risk of being reported by other models and your customers.
The very last thing you ever want to do is try to screw the government out of their money, especially if you're trying to work for the government!!! If you make any money from camming and you meet the requirements to report it to the IRS (if you made more than $600 for the year doing *anything* in addition to the camming income) then you're going to have to report it. THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. This is much much better than being caught trying to dodge taxes!!!
If you want to escort, check out the Other Work section on this site and SAAFE. But if you're in an area where prostitution is illegal, you're probably going to get caught. Why? You're acting desperate and scared. I don't mean this to be cruel - I'm hoping you take this as genuine advice. DO NOT GO INTO SEX WORK. This is going to ruin your future career and possibly put you in harms way. Please find another side job. If you only need $1000/month you could do just about anything.
If you're desperate for answers, all your answers are here in this section, you just have to look for them. You'll find that people here don't like to spoon feed people or answer questions that you can find here on your own. This job isn't for people who need money or all the answers right now. This job, like any job, requires commitment and time to learn.
And no, you don't have to tell the IRS exactly how you got your gift cards.
Girl, I would say that you are not cut out for camming nor escorting. You are worried about being outed and desperate for money. If you choose to do adult work, you can do things like clips or phone sex. There are other at home jobs such as psychic entertainment to customer services that will not hurt your government career plans. Being a waitress or bartender is pretty cool as well. Plus, just say no to defrauding cam sites and gift sites. :)
What's the problem? What's the fucking problem? You're literally sitting here asking us to determine if your lies are good enough! That's the fucking problem!
And guess what? They're not!
No model is going to agree to help you do something that's illegal. 'Can't you just keep half and send me the other half in cash? No!?? WHY NOT?!' Because you're asking her to money launder for you.
If you 'don't mind paying taxes,' then why don't you just stop trying to find a way to hide your income and pay the fuck up?
You don't want to get caught camming, you say? Tough shit, you will. Hide your money or try to conceal your income and you're breaking the law, which is a lot worse than being 'caught' in the legal-side of the adult industry. If camming is going to prevent you from getting a government job, then don't cam.
You aren't a special snowflake. This industry pays well because of the risk and every single woman who works it needs to get that. No risk, no reward. More importantly, if you don't play by the rules, you're going to get your ass burned big time. Don't sit there and expect to make the money if you aren't going to assume the risks and responsibilities that come with it.
