Re: I found a video of me
You can contact Liz and have them issue a DMCA takedown on your behalf. I hate sites that rip models and have the audacity to watermark.
Re: I found a video of me
Is liveviolet a white label for SM? I have the same thing with a GS video. I just assumed it was the site using my vids to promote the site like they said they could do when I signed up.
Re: I found a video of me
Since the video has a watermark from liveviolet (SM whitelabel), I'm guessing that it was uploaded by liveviolet to promote their site. If it came from a screen capper, I don't think it would have that mark. Assuming that the video was put up by the whitelabel, there's not much you can do about or with it. Legally SM owns the footage you broadcast, so you can't DMCA it yourself. You could point it out to SM and see if they will have it taken down for copyright infringement. However, they probably sold the footage to the whitelabel in the first place, and it's an effort to drive more customers to SM, so they likely won't care.
This also means that technically you can't use the footage to sell, since you don't own the copyright. I don't think there's much you could do to remove the watermark, anyway. In the future, consider setting up your encoder to record you while you stream. While you don't technically own the recordings, at least you have them sans watermark, so you could take the risk and sell them anyway.
As far as getting promotion, is your cam name anywhere on the video, in the title, or in the comments? If not, it's probably only benefiting liveviolet/SM in general, not you specifically. You can fix that by making an account on pornhub and the other sites (preferably with a screen name that seems like a regular, porn-loving dude). Go in the comments, and leave a comment like, "This girl is hot as fuck! She's a cam girl, so you can check her out live at [your cammodels link]."
Re: I found a video of me
Contact Liz directly and include the link, they'll take them down. They are an affiliate company, so as a blanket rule its tolerated until they're "caught" by individual models.

Do you have any GeoBlocks?
If yes, then Streamate did not produce the video. Instead, the guy behind LiveViolet screen captured it.
Either way, Liz can get it taken down.
GeoBlocking even one obscure country (I'd use Togo) to prevent Streamate from using you on any promotional material. Streamate makes it sound as though you're hurting yourself, but you're not. If you look at the 'Live' pop-up ads on PornHub, pornTube & the like, our model names aren't listed anyway! It does us, personally, no good at all.
There may be a few ad campaigns somewhere out there, that DO give our model name, but I haven't seen one yet.
That said. If you've been a model for a while, there may be recordings produced BEFORE you installed a GeoBlock on your account. Those pre-GB recordings will be floating around for God knows how long before you get them all taken down (if you even can). There's a clause in our Model Contract saying something about SM isn't held responsible for our videos being out on the internet. I was told that is because they can't possibly manage to force all sites to take our videos down. But Liz does have some pull with the affiliate/white label sites.
RE: Watermarking, they do that in post production. If you were to re-record, cutting out the watermark, the video the quality would suffer, so it'd probably only be good as a teaser video for your site (though it's probably to explicit).
Since you're looking to sell your vids.....
Guys buying vids desire high res formats (which is why SM, and other sites, are trying to get us all to go to their glitch-filled Broadcaster). Guys want to be able to watch their porn on their 50" TV screen. =p Come to think of it, we ALL want to have high-res video. youTubes from 5 years ago are difficult to watch because they're grainy and in that 'cube' format. It's not surprising porn customers paying $1.99-$19.99 per minute want our vids to be high quality as well. Sites like C4S have quality requirements on our uploaded videos.

That would explain why LiveViolent ignored my request to take a video of me down but all the other sites that had the same one posted (Xhamster, pornhub) took it down without me actually issuing a DMCA.

Some horny fuckboy in Togo is going to start wondering why all his favorite camgirls are disappearing thanks to you. What a good idea!
Re: I found a video of me
Yeah, I've had good luck on my DMCAs so far, but I keep my videos pretty unappealing for cappers. Affiliates, well, different story, but cappers aren't a fan of a chick playing well-known, copyrighted music with a giant sign in the background that has Streamate.com, my model name, and the date on it, lol. That sign is in frame at allllll times my face is. Cappers no likey obviously stolen content where open stealing is concerned.
It's also important to consider the types of show you're doing. Public shows and low cost options are more likely to be capped because a) free/cheap to do in bulk and b) plenty of other dudes to 'blame' so the capper is less likely to get caught. Gold shows on SM or public shows as on MFC/CB are major perpetrators on that front. If you focus on private shows with higher rates, capping is less likely. If you only ever do 1-on-1 shows (as I used to), use the customer's name, and customize it to them clearly, risk is even lower. The more things you do to reduce your chance of 'exposure,' however, the more you limit your income, so it's a balancing act for sure.
I also utilize geoblock and always have (with the exception of a brief placement check removal for a few hours), which keeps me off affiliate 'radar' to some extent. The trick to geoblock is that it seems to be fairly delayed in getting out to all the white labels, so you may not see yourself off of all the white labels for several days to a week. I've never found myself on a single white label while live streaming. I have gotten back my profile on white labels when doing a google search of my name, but not in the main page listings. Basically, you've gotta know I'm there to find me, which is what keeps me 'below radar' for affiliates. And as Katy said, any stray affiliates who misbehave Liz should take care of for you, particularly if you have geoblock on.

Opinions on the videos? Will they hurt me money wise in the long run or help promote me?
Another question, since they are videos of me, can I download the videos and sell them myself ? I'm also in the process of making a website thru model centro, can I upload the videos there? Only thing is what do I do with the water mark?
You can contact SM but a lot of performers have and they dont do anything about this. It appears to be a big affiliate of theirs and they either allow them to post the video's or they make them enough money they ignore what they are doing. Not sure which one.
Re: I found a video of me
Personally, if I like the video and it includes my name or a link to my room I leave it up. Yes, it's annoying but it's free advertising so it's not worth the hassle of removing it.
If I find a vid that I don't want up for whatever reason, I message the site directly. Sites like pornhub, xvideos, etc are usually very quick to remove vids if you send them a nice, professional message. You usually don't have to send a DMCA request or anything crazy. Something as simple as "Hi, I'm the model in this video and I did not consent to having it uploaded to this site. Could you please remove it?" usually works fine. Their contact info is in the fine print at the bottom of the home page.
If that doesn't work, message Liz.
