I'm new and moving to Miami! MIA girls! Can you answer a few questions about Miami?
Hello all! I'm Lightning. ;D
I'm a very new dancer from Oregon. I know a few basic pole tricks, still learning how to do basic inverts on a static pole. I'm a 5'10 dirty blonde with a very slim/thin figure. Blue eyes, very pale, small A (B?) cup boobs. I love dancing! I'm looking to find a place in Miami that is great.
Please read this part before you comment! I have done a lot of searching through the stripperweb forums on Miami, I probably read all of the Miami-related threads on here. Most of those posts that I DID find are outdated, 2008 were the most 'recent' posts. What was mentioned in the very outdated posts was dancing in Miami isn't that great. I want to see if that's changed - I'm looking to discuss with you MIA babes what it's like in 2016! I'm really interested in Wonderland, Scarlett's Cabaret, and KOD (but I hear KOD rarely hires white girls... I do have a fat butt, but my boobs lack. I also can't do tricks like those girls yet...)
My goal is to find a place in Miami, small club or huge, that;
1. I can make a lot of good money. I can't be walking out with $100 nights, even $200 nights are bad for me compared to stripping in Portland. I hope this doesn't sound selfish...!
2. I don't have to give extras or lots of mileage. (i.e., no handys, no bjs, no sex! I can't do that. I already give a lot of friction during lap dances.)
3. Somewhere safe! Somewhere where the girls are nice. In Portland, the girls were so mean... I'm probably way too nice to be a dancer. But I like it a lot!
4. Somewhere where the management/etc doesn't overcharge fees and we end up some nights going home with barely anything. I heard this has happened at KOD.
Anywho, sorry for the long novel ladies. Thanks for reading this far! I'm very excited to get to Miami and start dancing! :D

I'm not from Miami, but I visit a lot and I'm moving an hour north of MIA in May. I have been doing a lot of research too, and it sounds like southeast Florida is just not a good place to be a stripper. The culture is not like your average big american city. I'm sure there is money to be made there (like there is in any club you go to), but in central and south america (where a good majority of your customers will hail from) the strip clubs are brothels.
Especially since you're really new and you think you're too nice, I would say if you don't have to be a stripper in Miami, don't. It isn't all glamorous, fun, and beautiful parties.
This is just my two cents, and I've never danced in Miami, but I do have an understanding of the culture there. You might find someone on here who totally disagrees with me about Miami clubs though. I've seen a few girls say they dance in Miami/Fort Lauderdale, and they would be better sources than me.

^^^ I already PMed you but I want to put some info here as well... with your look I think you would get hired pretty much anywhere. The blonde, barbie types are not a dime a dozen in Miami, by any means. I recommend you to start at Dean's Gold (as long as they stay open), then Tootsie, then maybe try Wonderland. If you think you want to try Scarlett's have at it but that place is so loud to me and open so late and such a party atmosphere I have always wondered how the girls make money there. I guess they must because the place is still open and still has about 100 dancers on every night shift.
Every word of Babywillow's post is pretty accurate- though I wouldn't say the extras thing is because the customers are from central and South America. It's because the girls do them and now everyone expects it. I would say most clubs the extras girls are about 50/50 but some are 97.5% of the girls. I have worked with so many girls that have Pimps. It is really sad. Two girls were even arguing one day in the DR about who's "Daddy" was better. (This was in Pompano, not Mia).
People are going to assume you do extras. I never did but have been propositioned for sex (for pay) at regular night clubs if people learned I was a dancer. So....
If you are moving to Miami because Miami is clearly the epicenter of the universe and you want to dance while you are here pursuing some other interests is one thing but if you are having dreams of moving here with the explicit intent of dancing here- you really need to fly in for 5 days or so and try it out before making the commitment and getting stuck here or wanting to move back home in a few weeks.
TBH if you are tall, skinny and blonde you can probably make 500-700 a night bar-tending in South Beach; just make sure you have head shots before you apply .

Deans gold is closing down soon because the property sold. Wonderland is alright, just not really busy but it's cleaned up a lot. Tootsies is basically a brothel and you won't make shit when girls are giving 100 dollar handjobs in the back. And yes, Scarletts makes money with the party atmosphere/making it rain phenomenon.
The advice of trying to dance up a little north was solid, Fort lauderdale/Pompano etc.

Ive worked in miami for years at most the strip clubs. The only clubs you can make good money without doing extras is E11even and scarletts. E11even is the best. I woukd typically walk out of E11even with around $1500-$3000 a night

I work at Dean's Gold. The club is not closing until the lease is up in 2021, so it's not exactly closing soon.

Wow! That's quite the figure! I'm thinking of auditioning there soon. What have been your experiences at E11even compared to other clubs? I've mostly worked at Dean's Gold and Scarlett's.

That is fantastic! Is that mainly rooms + tips or stage or dances or a combination of all three?
Re: I'm new and moving to Miami! MIA girls! Can you answer a few questions about Miam
Finally checking out E11even tomorrow (I know i missed the weekend crowd.. but i wanna see what a monday looks like); Also got word they are opening the next E11even in Manhattan! Kind of crazy. I hope they tank the business everywhere else and there actually becomes a big club girls can make MONEY every night thats consistent. The inconsistency is why I can't dance in NYC, and stick to certain cities I always do well in. I hope Miami is one because I wanna move down here for awhile..
Re: I'm new and moving to Miami! MIA girls! Can you answer a few questions about Miam
I hope they don't. The reason NYC isn't doing as well is they keep opening up more and more clubs and thinning out the customer pool. I'm curious to see where it is that they are trying to open this new club because our zoning laws make it very hard to open a club..
