Pre-transition trans girl with some questions..
I don't quite know if this is the right place for this, but, um. here I am I guess.
Like the topic title says, I'm a (disabled) pre-transitioned trans girl. (A lot of my features are feminine tho lmao). I'm interested in cam work, to try and feel better about myself and body, and, well, to make a little extra money for my special interests~
My first question, is uhh... how the flying fuck do I go about getting verified on the sites that require you to use ID? When my ID has my deadname on it? Is it possible to take a picture and blur/censor out parts of my ID, or would they not accept that? :/ also do I have to put my full birth name, ugh?
My second question, is there any sites where I won't have to "educate" my viewers that I am not a "man", even if I may look like one to them? :P Like, is there a more trans-inclusive site than the others? I doubt it but I'm prepared to deal with gross fuckos nonetheless.
(I really don't want to have to wait until I'm transitioned to have to do this, bcuz I really, really want to do this. :'( )
Lastly, yes, it's possible some of these questions have been asked already, but I am disabled, and my attention span for searching only goes so far..
As I live in Canada, a lot of the advice doesn't quite apply here. I am curious to know if there's, "alternatives" to PayPal? And if any of the sites that take said alternatives.. I dunno. I make under 20k a year so I can't actually apply for a credit card yet.. I'm talking to a bank to see what my other options are, though.
I'm sorry if any of this came out badly.. or if it didn't make any sense... I hope I didn't leave out any questions. Ugh. I'm so new to all of this... Sorry..
Re: Pre-transition trans girl with some questions..
I'm also from Canada and signed up for Paxum for my extralunchmoney account, Paxum and Payoneer seem to be the most common payment systems for models to sign up for. Hope that helps!

You have to put your LEGAL name. So whatever your ID says. This is a real job and they need your name to pay you, tax, and law!

Everyone deals with assholes. It comes with the job. If someone comes in calls your a man, ban them. You don't have to let intolerant folks and shitheads in your room. But most of them will be totally cool about it. They come to you because they are sexually attracted to you.
The site you work on will give you different options of payment to choose from.

If your deadname is currently your legal name then you will have to sign up using that dead name. If you have changed your name but havnt yet changed it on your ID, then you will have to get your ID changed before you'll be able to join any sites.
I'm sure most sites have tick boxes of categories. So you can tick the appropriate box for yourself and you will show up in the category that applies to you. Obviously you'll get some trolls and wot not that will be nasty, but that's just what every webcam performer gets. Just ban and ignore.
Payoneer and paxum are good for being paid and there are other options for payment processors like Cam Model Directory, Skyprivate that are more independent and you get a higher payout.
I hope you manage to get signed up and working soon.
Have a great day. Xxx
Re: Pre-transition trans girl with some questions..
All cam models are treated as novelties and stigmatized. You'll probably get a nice confidence boost, but be prepared for people to be gawkers. Some trans people will allow terms such as "she-male" and put their birth parts on full display- because it is a fetish that can make money. Make sure you specify how you'd like to be addressed/what you're comfortable with and go heavy on the ban hammer if you need to. I'd try cammodeldirectory because people will be actually reading specifics in your profile.
Re: Pre-transition trans girl with some questions..
You don't have to edumacate viewers that you are not a man unless you look like Arnold Schwarzenegger with a wig on, a straight up dude which I don't think you do from reading your post that stated you have feminine features.
The viewers would already know you are trans because they seek you out and the sites will also list you as such. The surplus of men AND women that are into Transsexual are astronomical. Now there will be guys that don't read. Those are my favorites because I just love to surprise... ;D
I am also Trans and I have to say the guys online are much nicer and more polite than people in real life. In the real world, it doesn't fucking matter if you look like Kim Kardashian, most would still say 'That's a man!' or refer to you as "HE" once they know you are Trans because people are horrible and ignorant by choice!
