Rent for a nice 1 bedroom is $600 plus. Yes utilities in the high summer might get around $100 for AC 24\7 but the rest of the year you won't need it. There is world class food, shopping and entertainment. I adore it. No one here gives a fuck if you're a cam girl, escort, porn star, or secretary. People are so nice and non judgemental. I love every minute of living here. Not to mention the 24/7 lifestyle.
After I'm done camming at 2 am I can go to a million open restaurants for breakfast, sushi, etc. I can go grocery shopping at 4am. Time means nothing here.
I would totally recommend las Vegas. It's a perfect fit for a cam model. Feel free to PM with any questions.
Viva Las Vegas!!!!
That sounds like heaven

Also, I am in love with their Tequila tours :) I was just wondering what is your opinion about living outside of Guadalajara?
It really depends on what town you pick.
The highway network in Jalisco is quite good and it's only getting better. Most of the towns are 3 to 4 hours away from Guadalajara driving, which is nice. We're also building a super highway that will let you go from Guadalajara to Puerto Vallarta in 3 hours or less at 50mph and it should be completed by 2017.
Personally I'm more of a city girl. But that's because of the convenience this gives me.
Guadalajara is a wonderful place. I love it. Nevermind all the great towers and vertical real estate they're developing here. You can see the SkyScraperCity threads about it. If you consider their prices (Less than $250k for a 3br luxury apartment) and the amenities these buildings will have (Hell, most have their own gyms and whatnot), it makes this city a good choice to move into. Especially when you consider that these apartments won't be as expensive as something similar in NYC or Seattle for now. Those properties will go up in value!

This could help...

According to this Mexico is around 60% cheaper than Las Vegas.
Re: where would be cheaper to live? Las Vegas or Mexico?
thank you very much to all who gave info
i decided am going to try las vegas for now
however mexico might be a place i could afford to buy something in the future so am not completely done with that and will most likely visit sometime in the next few months just to see
but ultimately i feel vegas is safer for pretty blonde girl with no car who likes to walk around in the evenings and is really difficult for me to not be noticed however in vegas people ignore me - was just amazing feeling when i visited few months back and no one was staring or bothering me
of course mexico would allow to save more money but hopefully i can save in vegas too
Re: where would be cheaper to live? Las Vegas or Mexico?
Hey! PM me when you get. I just moved here too and I don't really know anyone and would love to meet another cam girl. I do have a car and I'm blond too...lol. Do you have a place to live yet? Maybe we could do a roommate thing? I'm just throwing out some ideas. I plan on doing some escorting and sufpgar baby stuff too. I'm already online and getting offers all over the place. There is some serious n$$$ to be made here. Welcome to Vegas!! It rocks!

I just found this thread from you, too. Look at Tijuana. It is right next to San Diego. It is basically living in San Diego for 1/4 of the price.
Re: where would be cheaper to live? Las Vegas or Mexico?
silly question.... If you are looking on Craigslist and select Mexico for, say apartments, and you select English on the first page, are those prices in UDS or MXN. I am looking for price points, I do not think I could rent something off of CL, but you all have aroused my curiosity.

Whats parts of Tijuana would you suggest? Im in San Diego now and cost of living is too high. Was considering Vegas but I have two children plus my husband would have to find another job, Mexico doesnt seem so bad since its close.
Re: where would be cheaper to live? Las Vegas or Mexico?
I was looking into moving to S.A. a while ago. Columbia or Mexico because of the cost of living BUT all the sites I looked at said its a three month visa. So how are you suppose to get around that! obviously if you want to move and buy a house you should get a tax number and citizenship or an alternative to that. Here in Spain its called an Padrón. With it you can stay up to three months but if you enter the country from another European country then they have no way to tell when you entered or when the three months is up!
Is it a difficult process to become a landed immigrant? Is it going to cost me a small mortgage to get in? Have any of you done this without marrying a local??
Re: where would be cheaper to live? Las Vegas or Mexico?
I was looking at moving to Uruguay (the weather seems very nice). From what I read, you can stay for 3 months, but then you have to leave for a few days (it was like a weekend or something) close and then you could come back, rinse and repeat for as long as you like. So a mandatory weekend trip to Buenos Aires, well ok then! The internet speeds look good, I just really really need to learn Spanish before I am comfortable trekking into a foreign country where I do not know anyone or the language.
Re: where would be cheaper to live? Las Vegas or Mexico?
The prices for craigslist Mexico are usually in MXN. If you're looking for apartments for rent, look in metroscubicos.com
Also, making up my case for Mexico :)

Re: where would be cheaper to live? Las Vegas or Mexico?
Reminder for everyone considering moving to another country for fun or financial reasons...you NEED to look into whether or not you require a work visa to work there. And yes, "internet work" and camming is still working in that country. It is no longer as simple as buying a plane ticket and renting an apartment to live and work in another country.

Re: where would be cheaper to live? Las Vegas or Mexico?
Yes! Maybe SW needs a country list of places you can cam legally and places to NOT EVEN TRY due to high risk ( Thailand for one ). Is that list already here somewhere ?

I've worked out of country ( online doing my day job ) in a few countries but I was VERY DISCRETE about working and earning on the road. I didn't research this in advance and wasn't sure what was allowed. Yes ... be very discrete until you know the local laws about this.
