Controlling your body language on cam
"93% of what we communicate with others is non-verbal"
body language speaks louder than words. what are you conveying while on cam? I just started playing this documentary so I don't know exactly how useful it will be when it comes to tips on controlling our own body language, but thought I would share.
Hopefully there are some tips on how we can control our own body language or become more aware of what we are specifically conveying with our body language because I would love to use them while on cam and get more of those horny custies to BUY time with me! I'm all for using whatever tools we have at our disposal to increase our earnings! Enjoy!!! (btw...it's like 90 minutes)

Channel the energy of a positive sexually charged experience, something you've really enjoyed in the past. When you're in that zone your body will react naturally. Thinking about an experience has exactly the same effect on the brain as actually doing it, the same chemicals are released and the neuro transmitters in your brain react the same way. Everything about it will come across to the customer on the other side of the screen as naturally alluring. It's really simplistic, and fun to observe and play with once you start to recognise how your cues are affecting others and vice versa x

Hands show any tension...keep one (or both relaxed) and you will feel more relaxed too.
I sit with my legs apart but slightly sideways to the camera, so guys can't see up my legs...a lot comment on that being a sexy posture.
Re: Controlling your body language on cam
There are two critical things to know about body language. First, we can’t fake charismatic body language. Even when we control the main expression on our face, if what’s deeper inside is anti-charismatic, that will come out. That’s because, no matter how well we think we’re controlling our facial expression, micro-facial expressions will still appear. And even if they’re as short as 17-32 milliseconds, people will be able to detect them. -Olivia Fox Cabane

not disagreeing, just wondering, how do the actors do it? I guess they are trained to. We can be trained to.
Re: Controlling your body language on cam
Have you ever tried to research actors' body language on youtube? A lot of those videos can help you control your body language ;)
Re: Controlling your body language on cam
I started searching a bunch of different youtube videos last night after watching that documentary on not only body language, but about eyes (movements/patterns) and lips (licking, biting softly, etc.) and how women put out certain signals that subconsciously convey to men that we are available so they know to act on it. I'm usually aware of my posture, how my legs are when I'm sitting, or laying in a sexy way, and what I'm doing with my hands on cam. Even though I'm not nervous and very comfortable on cam, sometimes certain movements seem to be over-exaggerated by the camera and can make it seem like you are indeed uncomfortable or unsexy in whatever you're doing.
I'm also making an effort to pay attention only to the chat window while live streaming and having Skype right under the cam as well (and not on my other monitor) so it doesn't seem like I have "shifty" eyes...lol
Even though I'm pretty aware of what I do on cam, since I watch myself while I work, I don't always understand how or what guys interpret what I'm doing. If I can understand what I'm doing right in the times that guys are fighting to take me EXCL, then hopefully I can capitalize on that knowledge and increase that percentage in paid chat
Before I started camming, I would watch movies with actresses that I wanted to emulate their abilities for ooooooozing sexual and seductive energy

Hollywood adopted the technique of "Method Acting"
Sean Penn, Meryl Streep, Robert DeNiro, Marlon Brando, Paul Newman, the list is endless. Olivia Fox puts it wonderfully Snip "Method acting evolved to help actors with their most difficult task: getting their body language right. Consciously trying to control as much of their body language as possible was both exhausting and doomed to fail: even with years of training, its impossible to control the flow completely. If their internal emotions were not what they wanted the outside world to see, sooner or later, something of these underlying thoughts and feelings would show."
"Method acting took a different approach. Rather than having people try to control their body language, it went straight to the body language source--the mind--and had the actors strive to become the characters they were aiming to play so that they would really feel the emotions they wanted to convey. Then the thousands of body language signals would flow naturally and congruently."
In a nut shell, there are just so many body language signals to control. You can try to have a warm smile, open body language and a sexy voice, but if your mind isn't in the "zone" then a some point, a micro expression will come across that is not in congruence to what you really want. People will perceive it to be inauthentic. We have too many non verbal cues to control them all. The focus is to visualize and actually become what you want the world to see. Of course, learning more about body language is very helpful. ggminx has posted a wonderful video!
