How to hide it from m family?
Okay so I have a good strip club location where none of my family goes. But I'm currently unemployed so I would have to come up with a place I work to tell my family so they will not be calling and asking where I am. I need a good lie to tell them where I work a place they can't just try to pop up on me. Plus I'm working day shift for now and I do not have a car so my best friend will be taking me I will just have to find a ride home. Can anyone help with that too are cabs trusting in Atlanta around 7-8pm or uber?
Re: How to hide it from m family?
Do you live at home? If so, you can't keep dancing a secret for long.
Are you in college? If so, your stripping income will have to go on your FAFSA.
Personally, I prefer uber, but I had a friend who didn't have a driver's license while she danced and she used a taxi. She had a regular taxi driver. She had an arrangement with him.
Re: How to hide it from m family?
You could easily say you got a job being a nanny for some kids on the other side of town. The only down side, is you prolly wont be able to hide the fact that your stripping if you live with your parents. Might even be best to tell them you work at a strip club as a waitress or something else.
Re: How to hide it from m family?
I do live at home and nanny is out of the question because I don't have my own transportation and I was thinking uber but I heard a girl went missing and was last seen in a uber vehicle like that lifetime movie 'wrong car' but that woman just hoped in the first black car she saw but anyways I was thinking about saying I was a waitress but there aren't any restaurants around the club so I guess I'll say I would at a club as a waitress not strip club my mom doesn't know strip clubs only like two of my sisters might know the name.
Re: How to hide it from m family?
I tell my fam I bartend at the bar next door. My family is 3+ hours away so I never have to worry
Re: How to hide it from m family?
Research nearby call centers and tell them you got a job at one of them. Or a nearby hotel as a housekeeper, since you'll be working dayshift. Then they won't be tempted to visit you while you're "waitressing."
Re: How to hide it from m family?
I am dealing with this too. I am living back at home with my parents, and I need to make some quick dough. I don't have my own car anymore, so I would be relying on them for a ride to the club. LOL. I thought about telling them I waitress there, but I think they would freak out just by the thought of me waitressing at a strip club. It's such a headache. But at this point, I don't care. I need the money so badly, and I have no patience for vanilla job hunting right now. It takes too long, and having to go to interviews and all that....I just don't want to deal with that nonsense. So I might just get a ride there to a place next door, saying I work at a restaurant there or something, then walking over to the strip club after they drive off. Then I would take a cab or uber home. Only problem is, getting home late at like 3am....they might suspect something. But I can't be bothered with worrying about it too much.
Re: How to hide it from m family?
My family is pretty open but I still didn't want to go into it with them, so I went with the "I'm a cocktail waitress at a strip club" thing" but... Some ideas I had where they can't drop in-
Bartender at a private club
Grave yard shift at a call center
Front desk person at an all night hotel (maybe)
Caterer for private parties
Re: How to hide it from m family?
move away lol. I happened to move a good 20 hour drive away from mine...they think I work in an office. How will they ever know? I still worry tho...I keep thinking I need to get out of the game quick...that was 2 years ago

Re: How to hide it from m family?
I agree. You have to move. But for now, night time shift at call center works
