Let me tell you...he had bad vibes, but I never wanted to be the mother that told my daughter to divorce. I suggested counseling. However, when she called me crying saying she had to go (and she had been talking here and there about his toxic behavior) I told her I supported her 100%.
Yes, I made a transfer of my whole savings into her account. Shit, I just knew...KNEW I could make it even during the summer slump so giving it to her was ok.
I really appreciate the acknowledgement and now you all know why I'm grinding soooooo hard. This freeze on purchasing unnecessary items is so fuckin perfect during this time.
Great idea Carmen, and one more thing to keep me the fuck on track. THANKS!!!
Good for your daughter on getting out of that toxic relationship. That is never easy in any circumstance, especially when you have nothing. She's a strong women, like her mama.
I can see why you've been grinding so hard, especially since you will be moving soon too.

There's nothing more relaxing than a purring kitty in your lap.. I must have done something right to earn this privilege because she has not been on my lap in almost a week. She climbed on my lap twice tonight.

You know it cracks me up when vanilla girls found out I sell pussy online... they will slut shame and talk trash about me to their men on top of their usual 'that's a man' insult. Their goal is to warn and keep their men away. Little do they know that ignites a spark, they planted a seed, LOL.
Word of mouth is the best advertisement... ;D

Re: The Official 'What's On Your Mind?' Thread!
I had the last 2 days off and the temptation to spend was strong but I resisted.
I'm hustling harder than usual this month, trying to get out of cc debt by the first week of August.

I just got into a pair of skinny jeans I bought online four years ago. They still have the tags on them because I couldn't fit them back then. But now after losing so much weight I seem to have lost my butt? I knew I should have been doing more aggressive lunges.

Mmmmmm these blueberries scones from Panera are so good! They're made with fresh blueberries versus dry berries from Publix.

Who the fuck bring their own coffee to Starbucks: sit inside, taking up seats and tables for hours without buying anything? The AUDACITY of it all. I'm bold and shameless but I couldn't do that. Tacky is an understatement.

Cam freeloaders? Sounds like their level of entitlement, I'll sit here all day contributing nothing and soaking it all in then bounce when I feel like it.
I'm sure it's not just us they do it to so why not Starbucks.

Re: The Official 'What's On Your Mind?' Thread!
My daughter told me about a hair product I should try. I told her I have to resist because of the spending freeze.
This is harder than I imagined.

Re: The Official 'What's On Your Mind?' Thread!
Scheduled an appointment with a psychiatrist l... I hope she's a good fit. There should be no stigma with mental health. #stigmafree

Mhmm, I feel you on that. You're doing it tho :D It's my day off and I bought groceries and gas only. I wanted to buy some wine to celebrate some good news, but that is not essential PLUS I'm not even supposed to drink it, but damn it is hard!!!
We got this. How are you doing Marina and Jennifer?

Re: The Official 'What's On Your Mind?' Thread!

Good for you!! You made a HUGE first step. You won't regret it. But it can take patience to find a good match. I supper from really bad GAD (Generalized anxiety and depression) and it took me a year to find the right therapist and about 4 months to get my meds right but I don't regret any of it. I take 20mg of paxil everyday and it was a life changer. I was borderlife agorophobic and couldn't work or focus on anything. Total game changer. Good luck!

I hope she works out for you! Let us know how it goes.
I was lucky to find a good one on my first try. She really cares and listens.
Agreed, there should not still be so much stigma in 2021. Treatment can pull you out of whatever is wrong and make you feel like a new person.
Mental health problems are not a sign of weakness. It takes strength to recognize that something is wrong and ask for help. I'm proud of you!

That's wonderful! It's amazing how much meds can help when you find the right one.
I recently went on a new medication after years of trial and error and I feel like I have been lifted out of a dark cloud.

Re: The Official 'What's On Your Mind?' Thread!
Thanks, sis!
I can do my session with her on video so that makes me glad I don't have to leave the house.

Nice!! It's so much easier. My first appointment was on video. I was glad I wore pants because she wanted to know which vitamins I take. I had to get up to grab them in the other room. "Can you stand bb?" haha!
