he ordered the video Friday and I ended up recording it super late. i like recording daylight but daytime didnt work out for me until today lol as soon as i was ready to record the house got dark... its dark outside.. a thunderstorm so it was put off until this evening
i was taking forever to find positions, the lighting etc, random animal sounds Jumanji up in here after 8pm.. shit gets live in this house :)
.. i was just laying there looking at the camera but only feet in cam deciding if the light was right. it was right

I am so much happier since I quit using cable tv. I don't watch any tv, and it's blissful. I only watch Peacock and Netflix.

I'm just curious.
Does your internet connection drop when it's storming outside?

I loved Carol Burnett and Marcus Welby MD. I watched an episode of Laugh In the other day. I can't believe how popular it used to be. Way cheesy.
I used to do my hair like Chrissy. LMAO

Wow, cat 2. That's intense.
I'm hardwired too and have Spectrum.
We have winds over 60 mph often, which thankfully never messes with the connection.
But let a few raindrops come down and my net goes out.
Luckily it only rains a handful of days per year.

my bestie is turning 50 and i have no clue what to get her. She's a bougi one.
she likes cute things like tumblrs and anything pretty girls like. she dainty and straight as board that embarrasses easy .. i already thought of stripper. she would die.
the best friend that will break into a gated a community and flash lights inside the home of the man that tried having a affair with me while he had a wife and 3 kids.
She will send her husband to play my husband and change out things I can't reach or give me a car to drive and it better be nice.
I have to get her something nice by monday
anyone have coupon codes for tiffany lol?

Re: The Official 'What's On Your Mind?' Thread!
^^^Do you know her favorite perfumes? Perfume is always a good bet—if you know which ones they like—because it’s something practical but still girly and fancy.

Sephora has a perfume sampler for $75. If you get that she can then use the scent certificate for her favorite in the set.
https://www.sephora.com/product/seph...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
They also carry Tiffany fragrances at Sephora too. I like making gift baskets for people. If you start today you should be able to get that done by Monday.

her hubby reminded me Tuesday that monday is her 50th and thats a special birthday but gave me exactly 1 week.

I miss the days of walking into a Sephora and getting up to 3 samples of any high end perfume I wanted without buying it. Now they've stopped it bc of the pandemic :( It's a shame bc I LOVED getting expensive shit for free and the samples would usually last me quite some time :P

My favorite Nest is Sunkissed Hibiscus. These two are my favorite perfume bottles:

The green heart is Aura EDT from Mugler which is one of my all time favorites. The other is Jewel from Alfred Shi. I'm not all that crazy about the scent but the bottle is gorgeous. I've been thinking about ordering it in different sizes to create a display.

^^^I love those Mugler heart bottles, especially the bright green one: https://www.muglerusa.com/fragrance/...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
A while back I bought samples of 3 different ones to see if I should invest in a bottle but none of them suited me, I like musky stuff.
This is my favorite bottle, funny that both of our favorites are green(even though my favorite color is purple):

ETA speaking of green perfume bottles I really like this cute little one but I'm in the process of decorating my perfume area and I am literally out of room.....maybe once it's finished I'll find a little spot: https://www.amazon.com/Delicate-Crys...8JLJW5LF&psc=1
ETAA you know what nevermind, after looking at the customer pics^^ it's not as tiny and delicate as I thought it would be.

Oooo I just added that to my shopping cart. I have a ton of oils that I want to put into something prettier. The price isn't too bad either.

^^^It's probably going to work better for you because it will actually have room in it. I thought it was going to be like other ones that I ordered which are really pretty but basically too small to be functional: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

There's a perfume conference coming in June and to attend it cost up to $3000!!!! Unless you're a student it's only $230, but in order to qualify I would have to show my student id before hand as well as have a letter from my school. I'm not enrolled in classes yet therefore I may need to finesse some paperwork. I'm only a consumer but I would really like to create my own fragrance one day. I find it all so fascinating and I want to learn as much as I can.

^^^WHY is it that much? What 3k+ in value are the attendees receiving?

Re: The Official 'What's On Your Mind?' Thread!
I thought they started giving out samples again now that we're "out" of the pandemic? Maybe it varies by location. I love Sephora but I just can't seem to shop for just one thing.
I could easily spend a couple hundreds so I try to avoid it as best I can :)

My favorite perfume is still Chanel #5. It's too much for some people but I love it. I love for people around to really smell what I have on and Chanel #5 will do more than just that, lol. I hate perfume that smell like body mist that comes from bath and body works, lol.

There's gonna be workshops and exclusive meet and greets. Lots of famous perfumers will be there and I guess it'll be great for networking? They haven't had one since before covid and based on my research there were classes that were hands on. If I can pull it off I'm getting a hotel room and will be there all 3 days because I want to talk to as many people as I can. My husband thinks I'm nuts.

Chanel #5 is what I call an everything but the kitchen sink type fragrance, it's an acquired taste. The original Dolce & Gabana signature scent from the 90's is like that for me. Lately I've been wanting fruitier type scents, in particular a deep syrupy blackberry. Something almost like a Bath & Bodyworks type scent but better performance. I'm thinking about Signorina Misteriosa from Ferragamo. If y'all have any other suggestions please share. 😊
