The issue is we can be quite spontaneous and we don't have a garden. Does anyone have any experiences with house cats? I am not sure I feel right about keeping one inside..it doesn't seem that common to do so in the UK either.
@Candice: Hope you have an awesome night. xx
My cat is an indoor only cat. I usually keep her pretty happy with a nice scratching post, a view out a window, and throwing down a bunch of scratch mats (They're little mats with sisal rope on them). I adopted her as an adult cat, so she didn't have all that kitten energy to get out and was already litter trained. About the only real problem I've had is when she gets mad she can't sit next to me during camming but she's gotten better about it now and looks out a window in a different room, so she's not bored. (some people I know who don't have views put on Youtube videos that are made for cats to entertain them)
It looks like the UK animal society has a guide to indoor cats:

A friend of mine puts cat stuff/games on the iPad ... or a video of birds on that she seems to like. Might help keep her occupied for a bit.

Sorry you lost your cat, hugs to you.
Mine is an indoor cat too and although they need more attention and energy wearing off they can by getting them toys or things to play with to release the energy pent up. Mine is awesome, he is still a baby but i try to play with him as much as i can to keep him exercising and keep his energy levels low at night otherwise hes hell on wheels haha

I'm assuming you have good credit then that would be odd. I could see first, last and security as pretty standard.

Re: The Official 'What's On Your Mind?' Thread!
Last week I found out that my mom has breast cancer. I think she's going to be okay but I'm going to need to take care of her for a while. It sucks when you need to take time off but don't want to bum anyone out by telling them why!! I was thinking of switching sites and completely rebranding myself anyway so maybe I'll just try to time my transition accordingly.
Could not be a worse time to take time off, though. We bought a money pit last year and although initial inspections were good, the place is quite literally falling apart. We have 10k in foundation work coming up this month, then we have to replace a relatively new roof (installed incorrectly and is leaking all over), a crumbling chimney, and rotten siding. Sooo stressed out! I know though that all this will pass and Ill be back on top. I do think I'm finally getting into my groove as a cam girl and have the right attitude (I didn't for a while and it hurt my income), and am optimistic about switching things up when I do have time to cam again.

Re: The Official 'What's On Your Mind?' Thread!
Thank you for your kind words, anonymous :)
This is the house we live in so it's a little extra stressful. If it were an investment property I could totally rent it as a vacation place and nobody would know that we have these big issues going on. I've always watched those house flipping shows and wondered how people end up with houses that have so many problems, but I totally ended up being one of those people! Home inspectors don't really do anything in depth and in my case, the house was a flip so some things had been cleverly concealed. Other things were fine when we bought the place but have since developed issues that nobody could really predict. That being said, I've had to do extensive research on all this stuff and if I knew then what I know now, I may have spotted some of the things that were overlooked by our inspector.
I would definitely do a lot of research, especially if you are buying an older home or are looking outside of your normal area. We moved from the city to the forest and just didn't realize some of the differences to look out for such as soil quality, wood boring insects, etc. There are also common problems among houses of a certain age. For example a lot of houses built in the 80's have crappy pipes that have to be totally redone. Houses that are really old might need to have all the electric work replaced. In any case it's all fixable but you would want a real clear picture before investing since the whole idea is to make a profit. :)
Wishing you luck!!

Re: The Official 'What's On Your Mind?' Thread!
OMG I totally know what you mean.. I bought a house that was half flipped.. meaning they didn't redo the kitchen or the bathroom really.. same old 50's tile and tub.. but put a new cheap cabinet and toilet.. as far as the kitchen goes just tile.. and now .. I am waiting til I can fix the ceiling in a bedroom that fell down.. and the other bedroom's ceiling looks like it's next so they are going to reinforce it.. ..other than that in 10 yrs.. I had termite tenting, new a/c and water heater and new showerhead and shower/bathtub knobs.. so not to bad.. probably need a new roof soon though.. but I want to move!.. been here 10 yrs now .. I hate it!
yea my house is like 60 yrs old.. well I have been researching real estate investing for like almost 30 yrs now haha.. I am just nervous cuz I now have the money to do it.. i try to reassure myself that if it costs me more than i bargained for i can still rent it out til i recoup the costs.. unlike a home you live in which is just a money pit/liability.

I'm wondering if sugar cubes are still a real thing that you can buy in the grocery store in the US...
Now that it's winter, I like having a little pot of tea in my cam room, and it would be nice and tidy if I could also have a little bowl of sugar cubes, instead of spilling loose sugar all over my desk.

Re: The Official 'What's On Your Mind?' Thread!
will say it anyway cause that's on my mind, and besides the fact I'm the kinda of person that talks with no strings everything that it's on my mind, I'm currently talking about it with a camgirl friend on skype.
But seriously: There's way too much BS in this forum sometimes. Like, there's a person here who banks all the time and no one even know who she is. She never has slow days, you will never see her posting in the "camming sucks" thread, she banks from websites that have barely 3 months of age. Honestly...I think some people lie sooo much they even start to believe in their own lies. I assumed this forum was to share experiences, to help new girls and girls who are not achieving all the can on cam to do better, but apparently some people are more worried about posting fake numbers when they might be barely making a few bucks on cam. It's sad, truly. People should be true with themselves.

I think camming is more than a Job to some girls, it's an ego battle you know. And when they can't reach numbers, they fake it. It makes me disappointed cause that's not the purpose of the forum. We are here to help each other and share experiences. Plus...We all can see some people are clearly lying...

Re: The Official 'What's On Your Mind?' Thread!
I know.. everything I post is 100% I don't care.. I have posted uh made $3.50 on SM today.. no privates.. .. and I have had many days making some pretty good damn money which I also post.. it's seriously humiliating but it is what it is.. the days are such stark contrast.. you can't help but say hey! WTF?

Re: The Official 'What's On Your Mind?' Thread!
To be fair some of us prefer not to engage with the camming sucks etc threads because it's a downer. I don't bank every single day, there's a lot of times I feel like I'm struggling, but I won't post about that. I like to only post on the positive threads and on those days I've achieved something awesome. So that may be the case for others too. Perhaps it comes across like they're bragging or exaggerating, when actually they're just being selective about where they give their energy? Just another perspective x
