That's now what it says on the site? It just says to give them $10 via the link and get a free drink. Doesn't say anything about them spending anything first, and it doesn't say men or women- just friends, lol.

Interesting. I think they need to be a lot more specific with it. I just had over 30 people sign up and they're not men but women so I doubt they're going to use their actual $10 credit, lol. Oh well.
Tell A Friend!
Give your friends $10.00 to try Phrendly and get 1 free drink.
Send this link:
This is very misleading.
The program started as a way for guys to tell their friend to come try Phrendly, not really intended as an affiliate program, so I think that might be why they didn't throw in the line about the threshold. It would be awkward. Since the TAF links are available to both male and female profiles, it's probably best to leave that line out.
But, now ya know lol. They gotta become spenders or else Phrendly would be throwing money at us for no reason.
Do you maybe know when will this be available in Europe?
You'll get credit for either spenders (typically guys) or earners (typically women), as long as they spend or earn $15. Here are the deets:

Anyone else having problems with call availability? I've missed out on $$$ because it apparently keeps showing up as unavailable, despite me triple checking that I have it set to available for both phone and video calls.
This site has been dead for me. Not even starring or changing my GIF has been helping. They need to revamp the site and keep making changes, there are a lot of problems and I feel like Phrendly ignores their problems like SM ignores their problems.
That's nice, would be even nicer if it said that under TELL A FRIEND! under the link. That being said, I have had a slew of friends sign up and earn money instantly, yet I haven't received anything and quite a few of them already have made payout. :/ Matter of fact, after using your link the site reverts to the regular site with no affiliate codes in the address bar (I'll post print screens, soon) so you're bouncing sign ups.
I've gotten about 15 messages from new guys today, so something is definitely up. I wonder if they started their Facebook advertising campaign because I opted in to that. Or if my rank went up for whatever reason.
HOWEVER, a lot of these messages have been "covered by the bartender" which isn't great. I'm happy to be getting new messages and more attention, but it only helps my bottom line if they stick around long enough to become regulars.
I'm going to stay positive and hope that this is the beginning of a significant upswing!
"It made me pay to talk to you."
Oh did it? Breaking news: Phrendly, an app, holds down a user, pick through his wallet, and forces him to pay for more drinks.
No no hun, I am pretty sure you did that of your own volition.
I HATE it when they bitch about paying, or they act baffled by the fact that they were charged. I really don't understand their mentality. Do they not read the fine print before joining? Do they really hand out their credit card that mindlessly and not question why a payment method is required?
If I'm not mistaken, which, I often am! I don't think you have to add a credit card to sign up, until you want to add drinks, which, still, means that they willingly put in their CC number, clicked on how many drinks they wanted to add, and hit "accept."
Either way, it's not an automatic process. You don't just add your card, chat about for 10 drinks and then see that you were charged $100.
I haven't been getting credit for some of my messages. I think I'm going to call it a day and close my account. I have experienced way to many problems on here and the customers are some of the rudest people that I have ever encountered. I also never received credit for a referral link that a friend used back in July. Money is too inconsistent and my profile got majorly screwed over after I changed my gif, costing me more money.
So thanks Phrendly, I really appreciate it lol
Yeah, I think you're right about that because they don't require female users to add a credit card. But really, it's just the stupidity and entitlement that gets to me. The worst is when they want your real phone number or your Snapchat, and they ask for it as if you're actually going to give it to them. For what? Really? What value is talking to an 18-yr-old kid who lives in fucking Mississippi for FREE going to add to my life?
One of my phrends lived in an area affected by Irma and he was like well see you in a week! He was an every day talker and good gifter (was not a cheapskate who would just up and leave, I'm saying), and he never came back and I'm pretty sad. I'm hoping he just realized he could live without me or needed that money for repairs (not that I wish misfortune on him). Idk. I hope he comes back one day to at least say hey I'm not dead lol okay bye. :/
He probably reassessed his priorities, especially if he had any property damage and he's going to need to spend his money dealing with that. It's pretty rare to actually die from a hurricane, coming from someone who just went through Irma and refused to evacuate :D
Phrendly has been awesome for me today. I had over 30 new guys reach out to me. I'm wondering what the cause of all of this is.
Is it slowing down for you now? It was SO busy earlier and now it's back to normal I think. It was a nice ride while it lasted. :)
