How to believe in what you are selling
Lately I've been getting a LOT of guys who are all "I don't get why I would spend $500 on you for an hour to just dance when I can get my dick sucked for free" and it's really made me lose faith in myself and my hustle. I feel like there's no point to selling dances or VIPs. How can I get over this/ work through this? I want to believe in myself again, but I'm in a slump. I see no reason for a guy to spend his money on me, so they don't and I hear over and over again how they aren't. Yet, there's money to be made, I see it, there are girls making $1000 a night, but not me. Guys love spending money on women, just not me lately, and I've lsot faith in my product.
Are there any threads about believing in yourself/ your hustle and why men love spending money on strippers/ women? How can I turn this frown upside down? I wanna believe in myself again! I wanna believe I'm worth it and my time and attention and dances and VIPs are worth it, because they are, but I wanna actually believe it so guys can sense that and the cheap ones can stay the fuck away from me!!
Re: How to believe in what you are selling
If a customer says that he probably just doesn't have the money. Maybe try watching out for customers that look like they're interested in you and seem like they at least have a few hundred dollars.
VIPs ARE worth it, YOU are more than worth it. You deserve that large chunk of money that comes with VIP.
Re: How to believe in what you are selling
There are some really great threads about selling high-priced champagne rooms/VIPs. Definitely do a search for some good tips.
To me, it's worth the price because there is no way in hell we dancers would sit alone in a room flirting and giving our undivided attention to these losers outside of the club. If he wants YOU, he is going to have to pay up.
Guys who bring up prostitution are not worth a second thought. Don't let them get to you.
Re: How to believe in what you are selling
The thread in this section about knowing your worth is exactly what you need to read. The reason why you're worth that $500 is because you're hot & that customer wouldn't even get hello from you in the real world. If he doesn't get that and still thinks a free BJ is a better deal then he can leave the club & go to a normal bar.
Stop the negative thoughts tho because they do nothing but hurt you & your money. Keep telling yourself that you are a goddess & any customer would be so happy to have you pay attention to them. If you aren't selling VIPs try not to focus on that and just sell as many single dances as you can. I've made really good money from strictly single dances. With high confidence & high positive energy you will start selling VIPs eventually.

Quit listening to these cheapskates.
Tell those f*ckers "if you won't, someone else will" and walk off.
Re: How to believe in what you are selling
Thank you so much ladies! I just needed a confidence boost and a reminder that the #1 most important thing for a stripper to be is CONFIDENT! That is what closes sales!
Re: How to believe in what you are selling
Sometimes if I hurt their ego it helps me make a sale. "Oh I see, you wouldn't even be able to handle a lap dance from me, it's okay." Then they feel they have something to prove! Also, taking some time off helps. Sometimes you just get into a slump. Every couple months I have to take a weekend off to recoup.
Re: How to believe in what you are selling
A lot of these guys are just broke and wasting your time. Sometimes you gotta kiss a lot of toads to find the guy that wants to spend it all. Regardless, you have to feel confident no matter what. That's going to help the most with your over all success rate. For me, I often experience low self esteem. I think a good way to fight this is to start by noticing when you have negative thoughts. Don't judge yourself for being negative, but shut it down as fast as possible. You have to be your own biggest fan. Something that helps me is watching the drag queens on rupaul's drag race because they all know how to sell a persona and own a room. When someone scoffs at the idea of paying that much for a VIP, scoff right back at at them. Act like they're the weird one for not wanting to pay. Say oh tons of guys buy them and they tip on top of the room price. I like to seem surprised with a hint of embarrassment for them . After all, they are the ones that came into the damn strip club. They're on your turf and you're the queen! You're worth all that money and more baby. People are affected by peer pressure, if they think that everyone else does it, they're going to want to do it too. If I'm trying to sell something, I always lay out the options, then for the one I want to sell the most I'll say that's the one most people buy.
