Payoneer Global Transfer Issues/Pacnet
THIS ISSUE DOES NOT CONCERN THOSE WHO HAVE THE PAYONEER MASTERCARD. ONLY THOSE USING IT FOR CHECKS AND BANK TRANSFERS
As there are many girls who use Payoneer I would like to post this thread so we can keep each other up to date on the Payoneer payment status.
Some of you already know that Pacnet is under investigation and will no longer transfer payments. As Payoneer uses Pacnet, this is a big issue for payouts.
Major news outlets have recently reported that the Canadian payments processor PacNet Services Ltd. is currently under investigation by law enforcement for involvement in mail fraud schemes.
For a minimal portion of our payment routes, Payoneer relied on PacNet as third payment party payment provider. Upon learning of the allegations against them, Payoneer immediately ceased all business operations with PacNet.
This development surprised Payoneer as it did the entire payment industry. We are currently in the process of finding alternative methods and routes for those previously served by PacNet. As such, some of the payments you have recently issued may be delayed.
Your patience and understanding in this matter are greatly appreciated.
Feel free to contact us with any question you may have.
Regards,
The Partner Support team
Let's all cross our fingers for a quick solution.

Re: Payoneer payments delayed / cancelled?
I saw the Adultwork Thread and all the concerns. I also read the claim from The American Treasury saying that pacnet was in trouble with The Us Department of Treasury as a toc. But to be clear is this only for global payments? Bank transfers to accounts. Not payments to the actual payoneer debit card. You may know more than I, so that's why I'm asking?

Re: Payoneer payments delayed / cancelled?
In the Payoneer livechat they advised me not to transfer any money into ,y payoneer account until they gave an update regarding the Pacnet problems.
I have a debit card account with Payoneer.
But they told Susie in the AW thread that global UK transfers would be fine.
Thats why I thought a general thread would be good so we can keep each other updated as Payoneer is used by lots of girls here. Not sire if it only effects EU/UK or also US and worldwide.

SM Models:
I think SM Models have until Wednesday to change their payout info if changes need to be made. i'd email Liz and inform her you'd like to change your payout method from payoneer to check/direct deposit. Then, make those changes and email Support and include a screenshot of those changes. Ask them to confirm once they receive it.
I had to change my payment method once with SM and it was a huge ordeal but I found out how I could've avoided it. It's Monday so if changes need to be made you have two days to get it handled!
Good luck to all.

It would be so helpful if you had a screenshot of those conversations. A copy paste maybe? Also a copy paste of when it was said money would not go into your Payoneer account and what was said about global Uk transfers being okay. It sounds conflicting and you just started a new thread about the issue and it doesn't include the details in previous threads.

And this is why I ask these questions because now people who use payoneer are going to start freaking out. I'm not trying to make it a non-issue but we should be clear before we start spreading the word.

Re: Payoneer payments delayed / cancelled?
Hi, sorry, wish I'd copied the whole thing. I spoke to them on live chat about 3.30pm EST this afternoon about UK specifically. I asked if payments made to UK bank accounts via global bank transfer would be affected and they said
Quote:
"Thank you for your patience. We have other processors in the UK, so payments sent via the global bank transfer service will not be affected. "
Quote:
"Brian: Yes, I am 100% sure that our services have been unaffected by this. We have redundancies in our transfer services so transfers and registrations are not affected. "
I don't know about other countries x

Something is going on. Im just not an authority on it yet. Payoneer a third party processor relied on Pacnet to payout their global transfers. The Us Treasury Department has filed claims against Pacnet for fraudulent causes https://www.treasury.gov/press-cente...es/jl5055.aspx
So far this has not affected payments sent directly to the Payoneer Debit Cards.

Re: Payoneer payments delayed / cancelled?
I dont deposit into my bank account through Payoneer. So my earnings will still go onto my card and I can spend/withdraw like normal ?

Re: Payoneer payments delayed / cancelled?
Just a FYI, I'm waiting to hear back from my contact at Payoneer on what specific services are affected by this pacnet fiasco. As soon as I hear back, I'll post here to let you guys know.

Re: Payoneer payments delayed / cancelled?
Paxum is also now affected.

Re: Payoneer payments delayed / cancelled?
Ok, I just got a reply from my Payoneer contact. The only service they used Pacnet for was issuing paper checks. Everything else is fine. There is no issue for companies to get their money to payoneer, and no issue with performers getting their pay unless they were being issued checks.

Re: Payoneer payments delayed / cancelled?
Thanks Petra. That is what they told me also.

I did not know checks were even an option. Thanks for posting this.

Re: Payoneer payments delayed / cancelled?
I had a live chat with Payoneer and this time they indeed confirmed that all Payoneer card payments should be fine.
Yesterday they advised me not to transfer money into my Payoneer account, now it should be all good. :)

Re: Payoneer payments delayed / cancelled?
Heads up ladies, I just received this today. ;-\
Quote:
As we communicated earlier this week, the sudden termination of PacNet/Chexx services has impacted a number of your payees and the payment methods now available to them.
This Thursday (September 29) we will update the relevant account holders via email, advising that they can no longer receive payments directly to their bank account and will need to change their method of payment to a Payoneer Prepaid MasterCard®. The message will include a personal, unique registration link to register and change their method of payment.
Please do not direct any payee to register for a card via Payoneer’s website (
www.payoneer.com). Payoneer will not detect that this is an existing user and will create a new account. This will complicate the process and confuse the payee. As soon as we issue the card, we will reprocess any pending payments to the card and deliver the card to your payee via courier at Payoneer’s expense.
During this transition, there is a likelihood that payments may fail in cases where users’ new payment methods are pending approval. We strongly recommend that you reprocess any failed payments at a later time to allow the process to play out.
We realize that the situation is challenging and are doing our best to minimize the inconvenience to your payees. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to resolve this. If there is anything we can provide to assist with payee inquiries you may face, please let us know and do not hesitate to reach out.
I'm waiting for confirmation that this affects ALL accounts that were depositing to their bank accounts.

Re: Payoneer Global Transfer Issues/Pacnet
Thank you. I really hope we don't all have to go to the silly card though

Same (and still no mail confirming what I fear).
If you're with Customs4U, we are currently exploring more payout options. In fact, this has already been in motion but we've been setting up so that models part of daily pay studios (such as Boleyn Models) can get their C4U pay through them.

Re: Payoneer Global Transfer Issues/Pacnet
Is there anyone who has actually withdrawn money from their Payoneer since this choas started? Just wondering.
