Is being a regular customer a no-no?
I'm new to my area and I've been visiting a few clubs routinely to kinda get a feel for each club's atmosphere. Plus who doesn't like boobs!
Is this a good or bad thing? Of course I tip the girls and most of the time my boyfriend goes with me. Just wondering if this will come back to bite me in the ass (like customers not being interested because they saw me there before with my bf, or other dancers getting pissed).
I'm basically trying to find which club fits my personality. I was hired at one club and I had not been there very much and it turned out the club was too urban for me.

I mean it would be weird if you were such a regular that the girls recognized you when you started working there. I suspect you might get more than the normal amount of hazing because they'd assume you were a typical civilian who said "wee this looks fun!"
I really don't think you can figure out a good fit without working a shift. Good fit is sometimes also about what the rules and staff are like. The most I personally could tell as a customer is what type of men come in and what music gets played (i.e. Is it too ghetto for my little white girl self).
Just audition and work. Worst case, you don't like it but you make a couple hundred and you can check it off the list.

It's an awesome thing that you're being a regular customer and tipping the girls. Like Selina said, though, you're only scratching the surface of what it's like to work at each club. Even asking the girls about it may not tell you much, since everyone's experience will be different.
The best way to find out which club is right for you is to audition and work a few shifts.

Thanks everyone!!
The weird thing is- at every club I go to the girls automatically assume I am 'already' a dancer. lol
