This is situational and also a person to person thing. I can drink quite a bit and still keep my whits about me. I plan on going back in the next 2 months after a very long retirement and working sober; however some clubs the custys do want a girl to drink with them. There is no magic number IMHO
I can't drink for shit at work. My laser focus that keeps track of every customer in the room will immediately go to shit. I also find myself going blank on small talk. I can get dances that way, I just giggle and "teehee I'm tipsy". But I don't enjoy the feeling of not being focused and efficient.
Other odd thing: I only drink with one regular, and that's because I don't *need* to make anything besides what he gives me... but then I end up getting flagged down and making extra whenever I leave him for a few minutes. This doesn't happen when I've been soberly sitting with him. I'm not sure if being tipsy makes me look less intimidating or something? I don't know.
Oh, and ideal time would be the first few hours, so I can leave at my decided-on time and not worry about a DUI.
In my opinion, the ideal amount to drink is none.
It depends on the person. I don't mind having a drink or two at the beginning of my shift, it helps me loosen up, but nothing good comes from me being shitfaced drunk, especially at work. Some girls prefer not to drink at all at work, some people can handle more than me and be fine. It's all about your personal limits and comfort level.
I enjoy drinking at work, I'll have like 3 shots of tequila and I'm good for the night.
I can't do a proper stage dance or sell dances when I drink... I'm a total lightweight and just sips of alcohol make me tipsy.
My drink of choice is gatorade, chased with lots of water. :P
None . If a customer insists on me drinking with him or taking a shot, I have the bartender pour me water in a shot glass, take a "shot" with him, then pull him to the dance area because I am "soooooo tipsy off of that one shot & I just have to take you to the back RIGHT NOW" smh lol . When asked what I'd like to drink from a guy I am sitting with, I tell him water & if he persists & tries to pressure me into drinking with him after I tell him repeatedly that I don't drink, do NOT drink at work, & do not drink AT ALL & drive, then you deserve to pay $15 for my shot of water lol . Oops .
None personally. I don't like getting "trapped" at a table with a customer unless I KNOW they're going to buy a good chunk of time. Plus it helps gauge the customers I am looking for- I prefer to dance for guys I can have good conversations with, who aren't just hoping they can get me drunk enough to go home with them. Customers who take a polite "no thank you, I don't drink" or whatever well are typically going to be respectful of the rules as well.
Some of my longest buyouts were with customers who didn't drink at all, despite free champagne. Any time I see a guy just having a water I'm like, yesss you are here for the right reasons.
If I had one club I consistently danced at so i knew that the staff would remember me and give me fake drinks, I might go down that route, but I find I've had more success just thinking of guys who keep pushing drinks as timewasters to be avoided.
I actually loathe drinking alcohol because I get hangovers from even small amounts but I do it socially or in the club when I need to relax a bit. I only drink to get a slight buzz and will slick throw the rest away.
I used to think I made more money when I was drunk but I realized it was dangerous to get to that level cause dudes would try to test my boundaries, I couldn't track time as well or remember parts of the night, and if something goes wrong where I have to involve managers/bouncers - it's not a good look to be wasted.
Like mentiOned above last thing you want is a dui or for some creepy customer to take advantage of you cause they think you're shitfaced.
Lightweight here, I'll stick to redbull haha but really this is impossible to answer. How come you NEED to drink? Is it the club policy to have cx buy you drinks ? Quota?
Some guys view it as a social interaction that they need to be comfy with a girl. Sometimes they're trying to suss out if you want to spend time with them or just see them as a wallet.
It's hard to say. Ideally, you should be able to hustle without drinking, but there have certainly been nights when a shot or two helped me get into the zone.
None. I work to make money, not to party. When I want to do that, I go as a customer. Which is fun, by the way.
I agree shot faced is a bad look. Maybe, the customers wanting you to drink with them thing is because I am in Miami and people come here specifically to party- probably happens in Vegas too. One thing I will say is if you get hungover without drinking a lot of alcohol you probably are not drinking enough water. Hangovers are caused by dehydration.
Lol. "Shit" faced; but shot faced works too.
I'll take a few shots of tequila every now and then when I really need to loosen up. Anymore than 3-4 patron shots and I'm no longer a good look. I bust my ass in front of my manager one time and he started giving me that "now don't you start becoming one of these drunk bitches up in here" look :( . That was my wake-up call to not get to comfy with drinking at work. But if I'm at a place where I have to sell drinks/customer wants to drink with me I'll just get a moscato. That don't really be nothing but juice anyways lol
