Other work
Hey ladies, so in addition to camming I am consideration using Uber for getting to clubs. (Costly I know..$27/$35 to get there, $60/$80 to and from maybe!) I've been reading around the SW forum and wrote down a lot of useful things that were suggested, getting wipes, safety, proper heels, keeping to yourself, accepting everything that goes with this. Sure its different when you are standing there in a club setting with other woman, who may not be very happy sharing. The risk of running into family or anyone that I know within distance is another risk that I'm also trying adjusting to. Doing this its hard not to read past threads of encounters or problems that other's have stumbled across that have been summed as lessons. Have any of you ladies taken Uber to work and was it more costly for you than stripping with stage fees, ect? If there were 5 major things you would urge someone to always remember, what would they be? I plan to wear a rubber band around my wrist to snap every so often in order to lower my anxiety. Do you put in an application or just go in?

Re: Other work
Learn how to just "fling yourself in" lol I tend to get super anxious when I find a customer I want to go talk to so I'll make excuses why I can't talk to him. If I just throw myself out there the anxiety catches up after I'm already sitting there so the worst part is over. But don't forget your boundaries when doing this! Esp if your desperate for money. Always keep the real you in the back of your head at work to prevent you from doing something you don't want to do just for money cus it's A LOT easier said than done

Re: Other work
I usually walk to work, but I've used Uber a few times to get to and from the club. My route is about half the price of a cab and maybe double the cost of public transit, but it's still under $10 one way. Given that it's door-to-door, it's worth it to me when the weather is particularly shitty. In general, I think Uber is cheaper than cabs, so unless public transit/walking is a viable option or you have access to a car, I imagine even at ~$30 one way, Uber is still your best bet.
I'm confused as to what your concern is regarding the cost though? It obviously adds to your overhead, but if you have no other way (or at least no cheaper way) of getting to the club, I mean, you just have to suck it up. Unless you're a terrible hustler or work in a club with minimal earning potential and high fees, it's hard to imagine you wouldn't come out ahead at the end of every shift, save for the random bad night here and there.

Re: Other work
If you need transportation, Uber is a great option. Just be careful. There is a thread on Uber/taxi safety somewhere around here.
My advice is, be aware that there is a learning curve to everything. You might have anxiety now, but we all did at one time, and once you learn the ropes it will seem like no big deal to go to work. Read as much as you can in the Hustle Hut section, maintain your boundaries with guys (like Dot said, it's easy to feel pressured by customers/staff especially as a newbie), and go easy on yourself if things don't go as well as you'd like. Also, don't be afraid to shop around for a good club, since they are all different and there are some truly good/truly bad ones.
