WWYD-Need Advice-Stripper Sabatoge
So i recently started working at a hole in the wall thinking that I would make easy money being one of the top girls. The only issue is that there is one girl in particular who is going to all the regular customers and girls saying i was talking shit about her to customer. What would you guys do ignore it move on or fight fire with fire. I do pretty well in the club and I dont want tp be ran out. Advicr please.
Re: WWYD-Need Advice-Stripper Sabatoge
Ignore her. That's seriously always the answer to drama (unless she gets in your face).
That's what happens when you are the top earner in a small club.
Re: WWYD-Need Advice-Stripper Sabatoge
Thanks love that what i was thinking. The other girls were like tell the boss but I dont think i should?

Meh... I mean, that depends on the manager. Like at my club, the night manager's mentality is basically "I don't have time for this shit, you all can work/haze it out" and he doesn't interfere unless he's pulling someone off in a fist fight. If your manager is like that, don't bother... you also don't wanna get on his radar as a tattletale or something.
I have seen some great managers though that are often aware of the drama-centric girls and would be like "yeah thanks for the heads up"... Then when that chick DOES do something blatant, even if it's minor, they give her the boot because they've already had other complaints about her & the blatant thing is the last straw.

That was the issue i had when i worked at a small hole in the wall dive. Personally, the club was to small for me. Meaning there was only like 8 dancers and the top 2 liked to work together, and they wanted me to work with them but i didnt. Moral is n small clubs, or dives drama will happen (especially if ur a money maker). Just ignore it and keep working. Tell management, dont fight bcuz ull lose ur job and shell get what she wanted. Its hard ro bite ur tongue, especially when someones trying to get up under ur skin
Re: WWYD-Need Advice-Stripper Sabatoge
Ignore it and expect it. Every dive I've worked in (with the same "big fish in a small pond" mentality) has had lots of drama. Tension runs high because there aren't as many customers to work with, and some of the other dancers might not look as good as you. She might even end up fucking her own money up. How many men are really interested in stripper politics?
Re: WWYD-Need Advice-Stripper Sabatoge
Interesting post to read. I've been wanting to go to a dive, to "warm up" because I have a rough year and haven't danced. But would I just be better off doing mid-tier? Obviously there is drama everywhere, but would you ladies say dives are more stressful then mid-tier? I've only have worked mid-tier.
Re: WWYD-Need Advice-Stripper Sabatoge
I think it's the SIZE and the transience of the girls more than the class level...
I worked in a club that had 10 girls most nights and it was very obvious who the top earners were. Too few girls + shoebox club where everyone sees everything = drama. I kept my head down a lot but I would get girls creeping when I opened my money bag or making comments about their own shitty night and then throwing zingers about how I had sold a CR... A different ten girls could have started serious drama, luckily these were mostly too shy.
My current club is mid tier and runs 20-30 girls some nights, but the issue is that a lot of girls have been there many years. Sooo we get drama sometimes not over money but over "who moved my bag" when a newb didn't know that's Jasmine's spot or w/e. But it's also a very large club so not everyone knows who's doing what all the time so there's barely any earnings drama.
Re: WWYD-Need Advice-Stripper Sabatoge
First and foremost, you do not have a "boss"; as an independent contractor you are your own boss and your own business. It is important that you remember this. You pay house fee for use of the stage and tip the other employees for their services because they work for you; not the other way around.
Second, unless you have customers like November Scorpio coming into your club- most of the customers do not want to or care to hear this kind of shit and can stay home and hear it from their wives. She is going to make herself look childish. Just go up to the customers and act like you have no idea that she said anything to them and if it comes off laugh it off and do not engage in the drama.

^ I love that November Scorpio has so rapidly become the most disliked blue on the site :rotfl:

Sometimes he's ok and makes valid points. Sometimes he makes me want to puke. I don't know that I have hatred for him but he my dig was relevant in this instance.
Re: WWYD-Need Advice-Stripper Sabatoge
Something similar happened to me at a club I work at now. Except in my case it was this girl telling customers about my "drug problem." At first when I realized this I was horrified because 1) I've never done drugs and 2) I was afraid they would believe her and it would totally screw up my money.
But interestingly enough I still make good money and she still makes almost no money. I found that customers don't necessarily believe or care about the stripper drama another girl tells them. The only time it really affected anything is the first time a customer told me this and I got really annoyed at him and tried to force him to tell me exactly who and what they said and it turned him off, when he was initially into me despite this.... Since then I just keep a positive attitude and if a customer asks me about the other girls here I just say I think they're all cool and I like everyone, everythings great etc. etc. I really think having a positive attitude is key and guys pick up on who is nice and genuine and who is negative and trying to start drama. If they ever bring it up now I just laugh and say something like "that's crazy I had no idea I had such an awful drug problem, you learn something new everyday don't you."
So I would say ignore it and keep a positive attitude first, if you honestly think it's affecting your money you could tell a manager but I think you'll be surprised with how little customers care about that kind of stuff.
