Is anyone selective with their client base?
I've only danced for two days and it seems that the only customers that tip and pay attention to me at all are the older crowd, which I don't mind. Since I'm still pretty new, is it a good idea to be selective of customers? It seems that doing dances for this crowd has been the only way I've made any money so far. Thanks!
Re: Is anyone selective with their client base?
Certainly! If the older crowd tips you well, go to them first. In fact, the majority of dancers enjoy older men because they are more likely to have disposable income than other age groups. My word of advice, however, is to never overlook the other customers too. I've made fortunes off guys who walked in looking like a bum, or young guys who I thought didn't have a dime in their bank account. You never know!
