Sort of. Both took literally years!

In a normal job that's a great attitude, but until they start paying me an hourly rate it's my choice how hard I want to work. I know that if it's late and there are only a few people left, the club will stay open while they're still buying drinks, but if there are 5 guys and 20 girls there it's not going to work out for everyone. Also, I usually keep an eye on the room so I know how recently a customer was approached or if he just got back for a dance and try to badger him. We have stages for 15m, 3 or 4 times a night, and tipping is rare in Australia so I'm not going to be busting my ass unless someone tips me. You often see new girls sitting with guys for ages when they're not getting tipped. It makes guys think that the girls are happy to hang around with them for ages for free, and it doesn't give anyone else a chance to have a go at him. By all means, go and talk to everyone in the room. But sometimes working smarter rather than harder is better for you in the long run.
Can confirm. My club in Texas has 3 stages, and that's considered normal. I like to save my energy when I'm on stage though, like other girls have said. It can be tiring dancing 6 songs in a row, especially after you've taken time off and hadn't worked in a while. But once you're back in the swing of things, your body gets used to it. I sometimes have to relax for 10 minutes in the dressing room after my first stage set though before I go back to the floor to hustle.
This was basically how it was at a couple clubs I worked in Vegas. If all 3 stages were open, you were up for 3 songs. One of the clubs you were able to pay off stage but I worked nights and there were so many girls that i rarely made it up anyway. The other I worked day and with less girls I tipped the dj to stay off stage. Worth it because if you got called and pulled away from a customer, another girl would be in his lap before you made it to the stage stairs.
Where I work now we have 3 song sets and they are usually cut short. We were really short girls friday night so we were doing 4 songs and up every few sets. I about died!
