Re: Dancing in Syracuse, NY?
Alpine or Paradise Found. Alpine is smaller, but has been around the longest and has a lot of regulars. No house fees, and they take $5 from every dance you do. I found it more consistent than Paradise. But the customers expect high mileage (higher contact dances). Paradise Found is the most upscale and nicest looking in that area, but you have to split half of your dancing money and room money you do, so $10 out of a $20 dance. It's a bigger club, and their busy nights (Friday/Saturday) would get flooded with girls. They're both no schedule clubs, and are both topless since they serve alcohol.
Re: Dancing in Syracuse, NY?
Thanks @Starling! what's the money like at alpine? (weekly average).. is the condition of the club good? is there a decent day shift opportunity at either club?
Re: Dancing in Syracuse, NY?
It's hard to give an estimate since it's different for each girl. Alpine is smaller and looks kind of a dive, but they take less cuts of what you make so you could probably come out with more from there. There is also a locker/dressing room in the basement, which I have actually never been. The girls were quite young looking and looked like a bit of drama, so I never actually got changed down there (they have a separate area by the women's bathroom where you can change in and be left in peace as long as you get there early). Paradise Found is definitely bigger and prettier, and the locker room was spacious. But on the weekends you have less stage time if that's your thing. It can leave you more time to work the floor if you're better that way, but can be a downside if you want stage time and stage tips. It can get pretty busy on the weekends, but then you have to compete with a bunch more girls. Tipping at the stage is kind of customary at both clubs, there's the stage and guys sit in rows of folding chairs from what I remember, and side stages where tipping sometimes happens by stray customers, but not usually. I don't remember if either club had a dayshift, but I highly doubt they did.
Lookers has a dayshift, and you can choose to be on the books if you want to. I liked that place and the management, but that place was truly a dive and the club was falling apart. There was also no money there.
Re: Dancing in Syracuse, NY?
I currently dance in Rochester but since I live in 'Cuse, I do work there occasionally.
Paradise has about 10 girls going into a lawsuit against them last I heard. The cuts are shit, and it seems they are losing so much money that they are offering discounts on door fees and dances now. It's the most upscale and prettiest club in the CNY area, but bad management = no fun. They don't allow extras though so that was cool. They are very very strict against anything illegal going on and didn't allow any drugs either.
Alpine just got renovated recently, but I refuse to work there again. When I was there less than a year ago, there were constant fights, constant dicks being pulled out in the back, constant drug use, girls nodding off on stage due to heroine, basically a shit show. My very first lap dance was with the owners friend, who while I was turned around, proceeded to pull out his penis and a baggie of cocaine.
There's lookers which is full nude, it's a dive, but I go there occasionally to work. There's a lot of coke, but thankfully I haven't seen anyone nodding off on heroine or anything. I haven't noticed any extras going on, but that doesn't mean it does't happen. But I have no problem making any money there if that is going on anyways.
If you can travel to Rochester, I highly recommend it. 'Cuse is cursed and there's a reason a bunch of girls travel from 'Cuse to Rochester to work on the weekends. If you wanna talk more you can message me about it.

Lookers no longer has anyone on the books according to the DJ I talked to several weeks ago. Maybe a few girls, but I asked him and he told me that they were done with that.

Yikes, that sounds terrible. I'm pretty quiet and keep my head low so the few times I did go to Alpine I just went straight to work, so it was harder to notice drugs or what the girls were doing. There was another poster who also said decent things about Rochester's clubs.
I'm not surprised to hear about dancer drama and fights, I had kind of suspected. The first night I was there and was on stage I saw from the corner of my eye some of them came up from the downstairs or wherever to give me dirty looks, but I ignored them and never went to the downstairs part. I can imagine shit went down at the end of the night when those girls were drugged up and liquored up.
I agree with the friends...the owner seemed to have a lot of annoying friends that were always hanging around the club for free, and since I didn't know them and would approach them they'd end up being a waste of time. It was hard to tell who was a friend or a customer at times. Apart from all of it, I did alright there as long as I ignored everyone else. I guess it's gone downhill since when I worked there. The customers were handsy, but no one pulled their dick out or offered me drugs.
It sounds like the North East heroin epidemic has hit that area too. Rest in pieces Alpine and Syracuse clubs.
