Well that orange piece of shit clown in house wants to destroy environment protection. Asshole, narcissistic, spiteful, idiot.
^Yep. We're fucked. I was crying yesterday over this. He wants to destroy this planet for the sake of money. Like, fuckface, there are environmentally-friendly ways to make money! Open up the green energy industry! I'm hoping Elon Musk will step in and do something about this shit. I am honestly terrified. This is the only planet we have. We better take good care of it, or we will be the next extinct species.
We will continue moving forward regardless of who is President. The costs of solar and wind energy will continue to rapidly go down. All of the major automobile manufacturers are investing heavily in electric cars and/or fuel cell vehicles.Tesla is receiving hundreds of thousands of deposits for their new Model-3 Sedan. California and many other states are passing their own environmental regulations. Diesel-powered tractor-trailers are the biggest polluters on the road by far. A new company is coming out with a zero-emission hydrogen-powered tractor trailer.

The popular vote loser can try all he wants to turn the clock back. It's not going to happen. The coal industry is dying, if it's not dead already. Solar and wind will continue to grow, and so will zero-emission vehicles. The environment will continue to get better, not worse.
^You've revived my hope. Thank you, eagle. :)
Yes, this reminded me, in Amsterdam, there's a bus entirely powered by wind..
I also saw the inside of a windmill in a documentary, looked like a giant screw inside of it.
Here's a graph showing how much the cost of solar energy has declined since 1977.
From:

Also, from the same page:
By the time we hit the current decade, solar was really heating up. Thanks to dropping prices per watt, new federal incentives, and new financing options, the cost of solar for the average homeowner really began to drop — and fast — allowing residential homeowners to finally install solar rooftop panels at a much more reasonable rate than in the past.
Just how much more was installed? The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) found the U.S. installed 4,751 MW of solar PV in 2013, up 41 percent over 2012 and nearly fifteen times the amount installed in 2008. The price per watt today is about $0.65, compared with $0.74 per watt a year ago and $4 per watt in 2008. More solar had been installed in the U.S. in the last 18 months than in the 30 years prior. And solar accounted for 35 percent of all new electricity generation capacity in 2015, up from 10 percent in 2012. Why, you ask? It’s in part because the average photovoltaic system price fell by 15 percent in that year.
This breaks my heart. I love bumble bees.

It's the pesticides that are the culprit. We need to completely stop using pesticides and start farming more responsibly.
I'm cutting off Wells Fargo.. http://money.cnn.com/2017/02/08/inve...cess-pipeline/
If you're against the Dakota pipeline access, check to see if your bank supports it.
Bitch, Bye!
Crap. They (WF) are my mortgage holder and I can't do shit about that but I did make a donation today to oppose the pipeline.
As far as wind energy, I am originally from New England and they added a lot of wind fans in RI in the past 4 years. I see that and the solar energy here in FL taking root but we have to stand against this increase in coal. So far, the protestors for the dangerous and unconstitutional "policies" the current admin is trying to put in place getting shut the fuck down.
Yeah why am I not surprised that the bank with no ethics, Wells Fargo, is behind this as well, shit is as shit does.
I'm so ashamed of being human sometimes. This is why I'll never have a child. I don't want them to grow up in a world where extreme weathers are even more common than now and half of Manhattan is under water. God just thinking about it makes me depressed
Fuck Wells Fargo and all these banks! The Native Americans were right to oppose the pipeline. I heard DAPL's been given an ok sign from the government to build through their land and it just makes my heart sink. Sorry for the depressing post. The world just seems so gloomy these days. Anyways I'm gonna move my money to a credit union... gotta do what I can do to oppose this.
I'm switching to Santander. They're from Spain. Ole! :)
Even if you don't want to refinance, you could still contact W.F. and let them know you have a mortgage with them, and that you find it disturbing that they're supporting the Dakota pipeline, and you will look into refinancing with another bank if they don't stop their support.
If anyone is interested, this page has contact information for Wells Fargo Headquarters:

Their CEO is Timothy J. Sloan.
Credit Unions for the win!
I just realized yesterday that climate change is the Earth's way of defending itself. It's a defense mechanism like a high fever when you get the flu. Humans are a sickness to the planet, and Mother Nature has a fever.
Some good news from China.

In Big Win For Big Cats, China Approves National Park Larger Than Yellowstone
The park will be home to two of the world’s most endangered big cats.
In yet another example of a “green revolution” in the country, Chinese officials have approved plans to establish a sprawling national park in the northeastern corner of the country. It will be a sanctuary for two cats endemic to the area that have dangled dangerously close to extinction: the Amur leopard and the Siberian tiger, also known as the Amur tiger.
The park in the provinces of Jilin and Heilongjiang will be part of China’s brand-new national park system and will span 5,600 square miles — an area 60 percent larger than Yellowstone National Park. A comprehensive plan and pilot for the park is expected to be rolled out before 2020.
