What Bit-rate do you Stream in (Sm or otherwise).
Hey guys, Ive been on and off dabling with camming again here and there, and really enjoying it.
I was just wondering, what Bit-rate do you guys broadcast in?
Do you guys ever get any lag (literally broadcasting like 10+ seconds behind) when you try and use a higher bitrate.
Its SUPER blocky if I go to low (ive broadcasted at 300kbs before) and then super delayed if I go to high.
I stay at around 600 but recently changed to 1200, then was told by a friend thats way too high even though it seems pretty clear.
Ied like to go higher, because the recordings are a better quality, and I resell them.
What Bit-rate do you broadcast at? Audio? Any tips for not getting a delay?

2500video 192audio sm. 1500 aw the rest i dont know how much as browser based
Re: What Bit-rate do you Stream in (Sm or otherwise).
Are you sure? SM only requires 2000 bit rate for video. On AW it's 800 or under! SM is the only site that requires a lot of its models!

The recommended is 650 (I just pulled up my old startup file, it might have changed by now).
But its SOOOO blocky. My connection is shoddy, but it just wont work in HD with the recommended(which is for the encoder).
So with the 2000, is that the minimum, current recommended, or highest?
Thank you for your input!

Im currently broadcasting at 600, wow. I feel a fool. I havnt downloaded the recommended settings in YEARS and thought it was still valid.
Thank you for your input!

1500 on adultwork opens up the mobile viewers so protential for more shows. If you read the shizzle in adultwork it says about the bandwidth requirement to get the mobile and tablet versions running. Not available in the browser justcamit
I use 2500 as that gives a better picture on sm. But i use obs rather than sm broadcast. Obs seams to run better with 2500. Plus the 192 for stereo mp3 sound.
As far as i know chaturbate and mfc use 800kbs. Their settings to be rated as hd are very different. On bonga cams 640x is more than enough with 1000kbps.
That said. Obs studio only needs 11% cpu to broadcast and the older one 8% cpu. Obviously depends on the cpu.

When I'm using OBS or SM broadcaster, I notice guys getting black screens. They can't view my video.
I'm using justcamit for AW, is 1500 even an option?

You guys, before today I only thought that Adobe Encoder, and SMB existed. Im learning so much stuff. I use to frequent this place, and now i see why I use to come to it so often.
Re: What Bit-rate do you Stream in (Sm or otherwise).
I havent had any complaints about black screen. I will check tonight as will spoof a connection through a vpn. thats as far as i know through obs. Also obs seams to give a large rank increase but again will check through vpn to make sure.
Adultwork. If you use the actual encoder then yes you can change your bandwidth to 1.5mbps. Its in the screen where you set the webcam resolution. The website version is capped. As long as your pc isnt running over 75% its fine to be running so many encoders.
Always use the network cable other than wifi as most people use it based on 54mbps or g standard. Alot of peoples internet is faster than this. most network cables use 1gbps about 125mb a second transfer rates. So the full speed of your connection will run much better.
Obviously there are wireless N /AC versions however you cant beat a cable. It makes no real difference if the cable is cat5 cat 6 or cat 7. Try not to let the cable go near a power cable but most cat6 and cat7 cables are shielded.
Look.at what your upload speed is to a location
Ping the servers for the sites. For example i get a faster speed from my available 20,000kbps upload to adultwork than i do streamate.
