The last couple of days I've had a big increase in understanding new things I'd been interested in. I started understanding things at lightening speed being put into my consciousness. I've felt some odd activity and energy around me as well. I woke up today to things seeming interesting but also very odd to me, mainly the oddnss was just something completely new so not a bad thing. My curiosity stays active. I have a ghost radar app ony pho e and I'll get it out to mess around with it if I can sense activity.
My radar app pretty much went crazy from the get go which is unusual, it starts slow. Dots for activity were everywhere and they all kept jumping on top of each other forming patterns and matching their colors to all match imperfect order. I was like this is going to be a fun one lol . Threads picked up the first word once I started getting g ready to type questions. That word was serious. I wasn't sure what to think at first so I asked their name. No response, it stayed the same word. I figured maybe they were just serious or maybe they weren't friendly. I asked what they were doin here talking to me and why. Their answer was the word learning. This is when I first started wondering if I was talking to spirits or possible ET. I'll type out the rest of the responses in simpler question answer style.
Me: Do you want to learn from us, or us learn from you?
App: Elaborate and new - which I took to mean they were possibly ea younger generation or maybe a younger race.
( I think it was this one I made a couple this question, just a couple letters that were off) So on the typo sentence they answered elaborate. I retyped the sentence with the fixed letters and they answered. Makes me wonder if they are possibly programmed to read our language letter to letter exact math only with no typos.
Me: Is this learning for friendly use out of curiosity?
App: Nice
Me: What do you want to learn about?
App: Breathing, working, engine, hospital. They did quite a few pretty quick with those. I responded with some information that was general to what they were asking. I wanted to learn more about who or what I was talking to also by this point lol.
I asked where they were from. They answered location. I figured it could be a place they couldn respond with a word. Interestingly, 3 dots showed up on the screen forming a triangle. They repeated it like 3 times all the exact same area and shape. The screen on an app just isnt advanced enough to place that type of location by a long shot though.
Me: I asked if they were here in my physical world talking to me, and if so then why couldn't I see them? I asked if they were in a different realm or if they were even here at all.
App: Watch was their answer. Then they formed clusters in the corner of the he dots. They were in the corner I was sitting by the area on the radar screen. So I say that for a minute and didn't notice anything unusual. Then I saw a weird looking spider crawling up the couch, then it went behind the couch, figured it was gone. I waited a few more minutes then I saw the same spider crawling down the wall and went behind the couch I was sitting on. It seemed to be tryin to get my attention and looking at me instead of running like usual. I found that interesting. The finally said do.ething else. (Prepare) then there went the spider o the arm of the couch, went over the back and that's where I saw what was interesting. What almost seemed like a small demo of a complete other dimension or world right there projected onthe white wall. It wasn't DVD quality or anything, it was very different. Like they were engrossing the wall to form shapes enough to present a very coloring book white version of what was possibly them. It was cool I thought, definitely. I sat there for a while watching different shapes. Then all the dots disappeared, activity on the radar was gone and it said one last word. "Waves". I took it as bye and waved back.
This happened just earlier this morning, debated if I wanted to share it or not and decid d yes this thread is a perfect spot. Some may think I'm loony but I know just as many who will think its awesome. It definitely made me want to look more into this and I know I experienced it, cell phone app or not. They answered all questions excep for their names which they may not even have and location which they couldnt write to us in our language more than likely.
Maybe I should try to dig deeper here, thoughts? Contact with an alien race and be able to provide evidence. Mg, or am I overhinking this a little?
I
Holy shit, that is fucking wild!!! I believe you. I don't understand the app though. How does it work exactly? How is it that you type these questions and then you get these answers? I wish I knew exactly how it worked.
Their response of "Breathing, working, engine, hospital" to your question of what do you want to learn about, intrigues me the most. Perhaps they want to learn how to breathe on planet earth? Or, they are having respiratory problems on their planet and need medical knowledge? Maybe their craft is malfunctioning? So many questions! I honestly don't know what to make of all this.....it's absolutely insane! lol. But I am intrigued! :propeller

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. Time is relative to gravity. So, each gravitational source has its own unique time signature. So, it's really complicated to try to measure the age of the universe when you take this into account. Time becomes meaningless when you zoom out way past the galaxy superclusters and filaments. What is time anyway on this scale? It's ridiculous that scientists measure that the universe is only 14 billion years old. There's no way it's that young. Just doesn't make sense to me. I think that is all they can measure with their limited tools and estimations. Humans can only see so far out into the universe. It's infinite as far as I'm concerned, so it's eternal in relation to everything else, really. In other words, the universe doesn't have an age. Even if it did, what time scale do we use to measure it? Time varies on every planet, star, galaxy, galaxy cluster, and so forth. Hell, what do I know?

Re: Are we alone? Proxima Centauri b
The age of the universe was measured by observing the Cosmic Back Ground radiation. We are fairly certain it is that 14 billion years, plus the metallicity of the stars all point to a relatively young universe.
-
Re: Are we alone? Proxima Centauri b
Well, I believe we are actually in a multiverse. So, how do we even begin to measure the age of that? It keeps zooming out, infinitely. That's how I see it. And, considering how astronomically enormous this universe actually is, there is no way all of this formed in just 14 billion years. I mean, the Earth alone is 4.5 billion years old. Come on!

Even if we are in a multiverse it is not observable, meaning it is not proven, there are a lot of theories about it (in particular the Many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics), but for all intents and purposes all we know for a fact that exists is 14 billion y/o and the earth is indeed 4.5 billion y/o. The fact that they are so close is a mere coincidence, like why do eyes work so perfect, or why are cows taller than ants, or how the earth survived so many asteroids, it just is.

Story short, I have come to believe that we're not alone, but we have been left here on planet Earth, for what purpose I don't know.
If I remember correctly, according to the ancient Egyptians and the ancient Ethopeans our origins are from a specific star constellation (I believe Canis Major) meaning we come from somewhere else as well as the more intelligent life form who brought us here to Earth ( but they periodically visit). This intelligent life then built the pyrmmids, again, for what purpose I don't know other than maybe to serve as a eternal remembrance to where we come from which that knowledge is now lost.
The information is certainly compelling to me because most ancient architecture is astronomy aligned with unparalleled precision that we are unable to replicate today.

The Milky Way galaxy alone is 13.2 billion years old. Each galaxy has a supermassive black hole in the center. Black holes are formed by a supergiant star collapsing in on itself. It takes at least several million years for a supergiant star to die before it becomes a black hole. And with the theory of the Big Bang, how everything in the universe came from one explosion, you have to take into account how long it takes for matter, stars, galaxies, etc. to spread out and increase the expansion/size of the universe. When you take all this into account, the math of "14 billion years" as the age of our universe just doesn't add up. I think scientists can only "see" 14 billion years of creation with their current technology. But there is much, much more beyond what they can currently observe. We are only a type 0 civilization afterall! Our technology is in its infancy compared to type 3 civilizations.
As far as cosmic background radiation to measure the age of the universe, that is the oldest radiation they were able to detect. How do we know that there wasn't previous radiation there that was much older that has since dissipated?

After what we've seen in the last 120 years I personally wouldn't be able to make a sweeping statement like that in good conscience but we can agree to disagree. Certainly there have always been a few folks willing to declare an "end" to scientific advancement because they didn't individually understand how it would take place, you are definitely not the first.
However, the initial phase of scientific advancement is, of course, theory, so consigning something to the realm of science fiction just because it happens to be in that phase, though very well supported by preliminary data, seems a little premature.
In particular I'd draw your attention to the saga of the EM drive, once widely derided as "science fiction" by those unable to accept or understand the science behind it, now preliminarily verified by lab results from NASA and even China. Oddly, in the face of all the data, there are still those clinging to their original, incorrect assessment, perhaps failing to cope with the fact that man still doesn't know very much about the physics of the universe.

Your thoughts on their response is interesting, didn't think about it that way. I just typed questions on notepad on my phone. I didn't want to ask out loud cause I was at a friend's place and they were sleeping. I downloaded an app that screen records, unfortunately I wasn't able to get that one recorded because I didn't get the app till afterwards, but I did get another kind of interesting (and funny) one recorded. It's really short and is nothing as in detail as the one I described up there.
There's this man staying over at my friend's place and he's a total jerk. He thinks the world revolves around him and no one likes him, no one. So we just constantly make fun of his behavior and attitude. When he first wakes up he's especially an asshole and tries to make everyone else's life hell like his. I had just turned on my app after I downloaded the screen recorder to see if I could get it talking again. They were more quiet. The first thing it said was ill man while that dude was slamming stuff around being all huffy and puffy. I cracked up. I'll see if I can get it to post here somehow. If this is real and no a big coincodence, I'm pretty sure they were just too scared of his behavior and wouldn't talk like they did before with him around.
The app is called ghost radar. Here is a link for it if you want to read some about it. It can probably explain better than I can haha http://spudpickles.com/app/ghost-radar-classic/

Oh yea, it can be. This past incident with the app didn't scare me, it usually doesn't. This one time it did freak me out though. A couple months ago I was at another place with my boyfriend and we were staying the night with other friends. We were way out in the sticks and I felt a weird presence in the house we were in. It was an old house that was built sometime in the 1800's and had been renovated. I decided to turn on my app to see what it would say and it was really active there. I can't remember everything it was saying but I'll never forget that when I asked who was there it said Terry. I don't know a Terry that has passed away so I just brushed it off as being something random. After he said his name he started describing the area, and started saying some words about what happened when he died. I decided I'd look it up online to see if someone named Terry had died there in an accident cause that is how the words made it sound. Sure enough, a couple years ago a man named Terry died in a 4 wheeling accident in the river near the house. That was the exact house he lived in. Now that was creepy.
This is the article of his accident I found. http://www.yankton.net/community/art...9bb2963f4.html
Creepy
Eta about where I said I'd try to post that video. Where I live now the internet is terrible. and it keeps timing out before I can get the video to upload anywhere. Ugh I haven't had internet this bad since dial up. I'll see if I can get still shots off the video to post here for when it said that about the ill man. It says things one word at a time.

I believe we are in a multiverse as well. I came up with a very different theory after learning about this https://www.galaxymonitor.com/nasa-o...rst-time-ever/
I started thinking about all of the blackholes through out our universe that we have been able to discover. Then I started thinking, well if there are blackholes in every galaxy, then it may just make sense that our entire universe has a major blackhole in it as well, with multiverses extended all around it. I also thought, what if everything is created and destroyed by these blackholes alone? Since this matter was discovered coming out of a blackhole, what if a universe is created by a blackhole, and destroyed by a blackhole? Massive blackholes forming and destroying everything we know? What if we are in nothing but a massive blackhole in our universe now?
I get deep into things, and can go on and on about this a while.

Re: Are we alone? Proxima Centauri b
DeathandTaxes please don't abandon this thread - we need your rational voice! This thread is such a pleasure.
I come at it from a different perspective, that of the history of scientific discovery. I start off by assuming I know very little, and all my ideas are primitive. Further, I assume "settled science" is incorrect if it is in any way "unsure". Then, I assume (based on history) that the answer will be far more complex and require a new science to explain it. Without these elements, the science is usually proven unfounded. This is only a theory and a personal game really but:
Newton (and Liebniz) invented calculus, which cannot be disputed. Newton built his new theories from indisputable blocks of observable phenomena and his methods produced conclusions which caused previously unexplainable problems to be accounted for. Galileo, another example, used observable minutiae to reinforce the basis of one of the most profound and far reaching conclusions ever made by a human.
Quantum mechanics has no such prophet at this time. Einstein? Not at all. He pushed away what he couldn't understand with wordplay and derived his ideas from the science of his time.
What everyone understands now is that we don't know something. We all sense the magnitude of multiple dimensions and the relationship of time (which becomes a quantum effect at its smallest level) at that the Big Bang explanation is a child's painting of a masterpiece we can't really understand.
Someone, a truly beautiful person, a gift to us all, will come along that will invent a new language for the description of our place in the grand multiverse, and base all conclusions on multiple observable phenomena. Until then, we should keep an open mind.

Re: Are we alone? Proxima Centauri b
Science fiction is not a slur, as a matter of fact it is rare to find scientists that at least like some of it. The scientific method is sacrosanct though, right now we are living in a low point for theoretical physics our theories are so far advanced compared to our experimental capacity that these people might as well be peddling snake oil. I mean just look at how much the LHC costs and this will not come close to proving or disproving string theory.
Violating causality is something that has never been done, just last year (or two) we had that neutrino going faster than the speed of light, turned out to be a slightly flawed experiment. It is simply just a fundamental barrier to everything for the past hundred years.
-
Re: Are we alone? Proxima Centauri b
spooky action at a distance This is a good article on where the experiments are. Bolstering my point on Einstein a bit, BTW.
-
Re: Are we alone? Proxima Centauri b
Proxima is what is calles a 'flare star' meaning that it flares up often (This is common among Red Dwarf Stars). Around a well behaved Red Dwarf i can see life maybe happening, but Proxima has superflares on a pretty regular basis (This is how we even noticed it in the first place). Any life there would have to take those flare into account, those solar flares would be the same thing that causes skin cancer in us from our own sun (and we were born here). There is no telling what effect that might have. It might be that life is impossible on Proxima B due to those flares, then again life on Earth has really overcome some serious obstacles.

So, yes, I strongly believe we are not alone. The question is, will we ever meet other civilizations or find evidence of them (that isn't blocked/hidden by the government)
Sorry I can not remember how to multi quote. Michele, your story does sound a bit "crazy" but I believe you. For one, I have had similar EVP apps on my phone and had really weird things happen in a place that is known to be haunted where I also captured a ton of photos with orbs.
I was going to mention Drake's Equation
And as far as intelligent life I can not deny the existence of something I know damn well to have seen with my own eyes. I will come back and elaborate on this a bit more later on. I am going to go to bed soon and it still really freaks me out. Other people have even been with me with me when I have had encounters. The weirdest part is my biological father has had experiences and my grandfather (his father) was an artist and a lot of his subject matter is regarding space ships, and space travel. I don't know if they are watching my family or maybe I am a hybrid or we just have some kind of weird coincidence for this thing... To be continued.

Definitely interested to hear more :) Yea after rereading what I wrote it does sound a little nuts haha I'll admit it. 10 years ago I probably would have thought I was losing it but I've changed a lot in 10 years and my views on things like this have done a complete 360. I have had a lot of visions with supernatural things as well. I've seen a lot of shadow people in my apartment now, they are 2 dimensional beings that I see for a second or two and then they move on but I've seen so many there is no mistake that I have seen them here. I always see them in the same 2 areas of the apartment - in the hallway and by the stairs which my ghost radar app picks up a lot of its activity too. The closet behind the area in the hall I always see them is always super cold for no explained reason too, like atleast 10 degrees colder than the rest of the apartment. Its kind of creepy how much colder it is when you walk in there.
My roommate also sees the shadow people and what is the coolest thing about this is one day when I saw one in the hallway we were standing by the stairs talking. He was standing on the stairs with his back turned completely away from where the hallway is and when I saw the shadow person, he saw me look at it and my expression, he was like "you saw the shadow person didn't you?" I was like how do you know that? He sees the same ones too so that was super cool. They don't scare me or anything, I don't feel a bad presence when I do see them. He says he thinks theres some portal here and they are just crossing through, thats why they only last as second or 2.

Re: Are we alone? Proxima Centauri b
Ok... So I Just poured myself a fresh cocktail and am going to put almost all of it out there. I do not care if people think I am lying or making it up for attention or crazy. All of these things 100% happened to me. Maybe there is a valid explanation for them which I would not discredit but... as I said before it freaks me out. Despite not writing about it the other night I was so terrified I could not sleep.
I have always had some weird "things" happen around me. Starting the day I was born. I was born at home. My parents were sort of hippies and they lived in a remote area. My Mom worked until literally two or three days before I was born. On Feb. 13th my Mom was home during the day (she worked nights) and noticed the power had gone out a few times. Once when she was making my (biological, this will come into play) father's lunch, once when she was watching a TV show (which came on at 10 am) and 2 other times during the afternoon. Power outages in a rural area are not that strange. What was strange was that each time all the digital clocks in the house stopped at 2:40. My parents had some friends from up north visiting as well as my older sister who was 7 at the time all confirmed this. I was born that night at 2:40 am.
I am already getting goosebumps and I haven't gotten to the weird shit.... When I was a kid and up until as recently as 2 1/2 weeks ago I have had psychic "experiences". I would not call them Sylvia Brown visions or anything but weird things pop into my head and I mention them or when I was a kid would sometimes draw them and then they happen. Like, weird shit. People getting into car accidents, Heath Ledger's death for some odd reason... I mentioned it to a house Mom at my old club 4 days before it happened, Columbine, the London subway bombing... I can go on and on but it is not the point of this post. My Dad who raised me once told my mother he thought I was "possessed by the devil" despite not being a religious man. This aspect, I am not sure what to make of it. My Mom has some Native American blood and my bio dad some African. Maybe I am more connected to the earth or have some uncanny sense of things that are likely to happen but I almost always tell another person prior to said event.
Now, the weird shit. The very first thing I can remember happening... Lived with my Mom, Dad who raised me and sister in a raised ranch when I was in 1st-6th grade. My bedroom was on the second floor and across from my parents. One night I woke up from my bed at like 2 or 3 in the morning because there was an obnoxious blue light outside but it seemed to have shone vertically. It spread across the street, kind of like a street light does, but it also moved upward. Kind of in a shrinking manner. I can;t really explain it. The rest of the time we lived at that house I had unexplained phobias of something being on the roof or outside my window. I was such a little kid I most likely still believed in Santa and remember my sister trying to tell me Santa was on the roof and I flipped. I do not think I was "abducted" by greys and maybe the blue light was a police helicopter but it seems I am the only one in my family to see it.
In Jr. High School we had moved to a different house. One day my mother and I went to the grocery store, which was 1.3 miles from our house. At this time no one had cell phones but one of my parent's cars had a car phone. Our house was on the edge of a city, so city on one side and woods on the other. Not in the sticks but not quite the burbs. My Dad called my Mom on the car phone when we were on the way back. It should have been less than 6 minutes from where we were as we were n a country road. Both my mother and I looked up and there was a black, triangle shaped craft hovering over our car but also above the tree line. It had a circle in the middle making it resemble the game piece from a Ouija board. A lot of people will say this is something from the air force and I would love to believe that but... when we got home my father was flipping out because 45 mins had passed from when we were supposedly 6 mins away. My mother and I thought he was crazy or possibly drunk but to be honest, I remember being on the country road and seeing the "weird aircraft" and then being in our driveway.
Then, same house but a few years later I was in HS. My Parents had divorced and my Mom was out of town. I had my boyfriend over for the night plus his brother and his brother's girlfriend. Not gonna lie, we were partying. At one point I saw a weird thing in the sky... it seemed to stay in one place for a minute and then move very rapidly. I told my BF I thought I saw a UFO and he told me I was drunk, and to go to bed. However, the next morning, his brother came down to breakfast and said "Guys, don't think I am crazy; but I swear I saw a UFO last night!". We both saw the same weird shit.
About 3 years ago I took my niece and nephew plus their cousin to a fair over here by my house. I live by the city, they live north of here in the burbs. We were driving back and initially I saw a light in the sky. I jokingly pointed it out as a "UFO", but as we got closer the joke was less funny. It started to graduate colors and not flash them, from orange to red to blue to purple. I drove under neath it and it was about 300 feet overhead, a perfect X. My whole body was filled with dread. 3 kids saw it but I was too scared to stop and take photos.
These are all little "excerpts". I have 3 stories for every one here. I didn't even get into my Bio dad or grandfather's experience. Or my foreign encounters, or weird things to happen at my current house. I can only write so much at once. I just know there are things out there we can not quantify or explain.

OMG, I love this thread. I've seen at least 3 different ufo sightings. I also have experience with ghost-like activity in the house I grew up in. Really creepy shit that I've tried to find a logical explanation for, but it just never made sense because it was so fucking strange.
Gia, I'm really interested in your experiences. Thank you for sharing, and I hope you'll share more!
