Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
I am a female-to-male transsexual and have been on hormones (testosterone) 4+ years, dancing over 2. I still have a bit of a feminine shape and enough ass to make money. I've been putting off chest surgery (removal of breast tissue) for a few years and would like to get it done sooner rather than later.
Do you think I could still dance with a flat/scarred chest? (A big red line under each former "breast," Google "FTM double mastectomy" idk how to add photos) I'd hate having to quit permanently and would like the option to dance still be there. It sounds terrible, but I feel like I would just say I had breast cancer and had them removed.
I DO have the option to work at a gay club post-surgery, but my buddies there make a fraction of what I do at the titty bar. I have one friend that calls anything over $20 a good night. 🙄
Do you think I could still make it work if the rest of me is a 7 or 8 even if tits are a 0? I work in metro Detroit dive bars, so it's not like there's Vegas competition or anything.

Make up could cover the scars. I think it's called dermablend.
You'll probably have to experiment and see. I think many peeps are attracted to or don't care either way about smaller chests.
Re: Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
I wouldn't do it. Just my honest opinion. Webcamming might be a way better venue.
Re: Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
I think guys will be freaked out and that's if you don't get let go from the club first. Sounds harsh but it's a looks business.
Re: Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
Honestly, at any club that I've worked most of the customers are pretty closed minded and have pretty narrow definitions of "beauty". I don't think someone with a double mastectomy would be able to make money.
Re: Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
Do Fetish clips. Dancing is probably the least accepting of diversity of all the different types of sex work you could get into.
Re: Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
You could also try bikini clubs where technically you won't have to take your top off.
Re: Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
I'm not sure if you could make it work, mostly because of the scars. SC customers aren't known for their diversity and body acceptance, and it would be a big gamble if you are dependent on their money. Do you have a timeline in which you are planning on leaving dancing to do a different job? You could always put off the surgery until you are finished with dancing.
Re: Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
Strip club customers are fucking rude, closeminded assholes. Please don't do it to yourself. Every night I hear shit from customers about how other girls look and they talk so much shit. It's a small pool of very limited customers versus a more open, large pool that you can find doing other forms of sex work like escorting, camming, etc.
Re: Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
Also, I would try to find more people who are in a similar boat as you are and ask for their advice because I'm not sure how many trans sex workers are on this board so this place might not be the best to ask.
Re: Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
Thanks everyone. I was 90% positive there's no way I could still make it in the club, just wanted a second opinion.
I have already been dancing longer than I initially wanted to. I have an Adam's apple/masculine voice, male build, etc so I'm used to harsh criticism (I take it as a compliment) and let's be real, I already have that disadvantage going for me.
I have considered trying to cam, and will probably look further into that. My concern has always been having sex work on taxes. I follow on tumblr a few male-to-female and female-to-male cam girls/guys, may ask them for resources catering to a niche market. It would be nice to be able to work presenting myself as male, because playing female dress-up is exhausting.
Re: Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
Would you be open to have a different position at the club as a male? Like bartender or a host. Hair/makeup person. These are lucrative positions.
Just throwing some suggestions out there...
Good luck to you.
Re: Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
I think a male to female (if she did lower surgery) has a better chance than a female to male dancer (without chest).
You have already 3 years of hormones, your voice has deepened, and your body shape more "masculine". Guys can easily tell "male features", and you probably would come across as a feminine gay guy without boobs then as a genetic woman (which you are, but you had Testerone; that's the same thing that MtF hate, and makes them unpassable).. Are you passable as a woman?
I don't know..., I don't think it's possible, unless you somehow reverse all the changes. Consider another avenue besides dancing, it sounds dangerous.
Re: Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
Hey! I'm also trans and on testosterone. From what I've seen in friends, the scarring isn't that bad and with makeup you'll just look like a lithe flat chested person. Of course, customers might have things to say but if you've been on T for that long, and still are making money I don't think you have too much to worry about.
Re: Dancing without tits? (Double Mastectomy)
Anything is possible! I work with some girls who have zero tits. None. They bank. At the same time, I've been fired for dying my hair pink. Soooo.... Management might not be cool. Good luck to you!
