Re: Do you have a backup plan?
Last days I too had an awakening,I do not want to do this all my life. I have a few options planned out and plan to quit camming in the next few years. I just can't deal any more with these losers. I can't help it but I just hate them, on a very deep level. They are all entitled perverted losers when you ask me.
I have a few things planned, soI have more than one back up plan.
- Start a store (clothes, cosmetics... everything that is fun)
- Go to beauty school and learn how to be a hair dresser and open my own salon
- Real estate. Buy a house and rent rooms to people. Or flip houses. You can make a lot of money this way here in Europe where I live
- Any other gig that I might stumble upon that can be done as an independent contractor/business owner. I am open to a lot of stuff as long as it is not a 9-5 corporate thing. Its not in my blood.
- Stay at home when my bf's career takes off and not worry about this money making shit again and focus on healing myself and taking care of myself. Yes, we discussed this together, and no I do not ask for opinions about this because it is actually my and my bf's decision.
Thinking about this made me approach camming in a different way. I am less stressed now and more focused about getting that money out of those idiots pockets to make my plans happen.

I tried a stock market app that didn't make me sh*t. Now, my backup plan is investing in Neobux, which is advertising, rather than stock market, based. It's a long way off, but I hope to grow the account to eventually make 2,000 a month in profit.

How long have you used Neobux? Because the reviews on this isn't that great and I've read on a few forums that the way to make money is to have people sign up under you, and then they have to get sign ups and so on. I asked because I noticed the referral link.

OP, when you said that you make 6-9k a month and still don't have enough to save I have to admit I was really shocked. Unless you are taking care of multiple children or living in a super expensive area like Manhattan I find it really hard to believe that 6k isn't enough to live on and still have a few thousand left over each month to save.
I live extremely comfortably on less than 2k a month. I am quite frugal, but I still think its entirely possible for you and your SO to live on 3-4k. If you are serious about starting a business, saving for retirement, or just creating a nest-egg the FIRST thing anyone needs to do is scale back the spending and go minimalist. Set a budget and stick to it. Lifestyle creep is a real thing, but the truth is nobody needs to eat out every day, cable tv, a luxury apartment, new phones and gadgets, a nice car, etc.
One of the biggest ways you can scale down your monthly spending is by getting rid of your car lease and buying an older used car. Get something reliable, gas efficient and cheap. you can buy an older Honda or Toyota for 1-2k and drive them for 5-10 years. You can save hundreds of dollars every month this way. When you own a car outright you don't need full coverage insurance anymore which saves even more on top of eliminating the monthly car note.
I can give you more info on lifestyle creep and minimizing monthly spending if you're interested. I've gotten multiple boyfriends and friends out of debt with this method.
For normal people yeah its great but I have epilepsy with no insurance so I pay out of pocket for all meds and visits and also paying back student loans and other debts I have inquired lol

I've been a member since Sep 25, 2016. Yea, I saw negative reviews online too. The site has a forum tho, and people have made money (unless the forum members are all fake but I doubt that lol). I'm crossing my fingers that it really pays off in the long haul. Having people sign up under you helps, but that's not the main way to make money on there. It's by renting referrals and making money off of those people's clicks on advertisements.
Re: Do you have a backup plan?
My backup plan is to someday reopen the business I lost in 08-09. This time I'll be less soft about project estimates (they were almost always so low) and payments (too nice, let people slack), sometimes it really bit me in the ass. After camming I'm a lot harsher about my money than I was before- properly pay me for my time or ELSE.
