When we met at work, we had a great connection right off the bat. Great conversation and always an underlying sexual currant. We kind of teased each other and danced (pun!) around the idea of any kind of relationship, and we did struggle with it because we both knew it was against the rules for him to date me. However we couldn't help ourselves. Our first kiss was actually in the club's dressing room lol. I always got there early so that he and I could hang out before the rest of the girls came in. We were talking and then suddenly he grabbed me and kissed me til my knees were weak. After that we gave in and became an item. Sure girls talked shit but at work we never let on or confirmed the rumors. We both ended up quitting and getting other jobs (me at another club and him as a chef) mostly because we were tired of having to hide our relationship.
Six years later, we are the most sickeningly happy couple ever. We've never soent a night apart, he is my best friend, and the sex is just as electric now as it was in the beginning.
I know I'm an anomaly , and I got lucky. He's my soulmate and it just happened to be in the club where we dound each other.
And i thank God/dess every day that we met, he has made me so happy and enhanced my life in every way
Even though I am against dating anyone at work, when I read this, I got butterflies in my stomach. lol. So fucking romantic and naughty at the same time! Goddamn girl! I love it :lovestruc :heartbeat :cupid:

I'm married to a bouncer who I met at my current club and as long as you are able to leave your personal life at the door and can trust that jealously won't be a problem, I'd say go for it.
On the other hand, I dated a DJ that I was working with years ago and it nearly cost me my job. Jealousy issues would lead us to getting into fights at work and it always felt like everyone knew our business. It was by far one of the most toxic relationships I've ever been in and I do believe the work environment just added even more fuel to the fire.
Like any other job, it's both risky and difficult to share a workplace with someone you're dating. However, if you think the risk is worth it, I'd definitely recommend keeping it between the two of you.
