when they ask what you're gonna do for a dollar...
ok I know this is probably Stripper 101 but it drives me insane when people at the rail act like I desperately need their crumpled up dollar and am about to break out stunts to show it. I know somebody here has developed a cute way to handle this. any thoughts?

What do you want, to get married & have lots of babies?
It's just a dollar not an engagement ring?
Say something outrageous & make them laugh.

i would love to use that one, but usually the customers that do that to me don't understand english and my spanish isn't good enough to say that.
i usually look at them in disbelief and tell them: it's a DOLLAR what do you think i'm gonna dO?
doesn't get me many sales of course, but those customers aren't worth it anyways.
Re: when they ask what you're gonna do for a dollar...
Usually they're not worth bothering w/ those types
Re: when they ask what you're gonna do for a dollar...
....call security and have you removed from the stage - that's all you'll get for a dollar.
Re: when they ask what you're gonna do for a dollar...
I wouldn't say anything and immediately move on
Re: when they ask what you're gonna do for a dollar...
I don't deal with it in a cute way because those types are not big spenders. If they're doing the holding onto to it, kinda waving it around move I just pull it out of their hand...or simply ignore them because that shit's rude AF. I'm a dancer not a zoo animal, you don't get to wave dollars around for me to do tricks. Don't reward that type of behavior.

yeah exactly that's how I feel, it's disrespectful. at the end of the day it's only a dollar or two anyways.
Re: when they ask what you're gonna do for a dollar...
If they have it in their hand and I'm asked that, I usually just take it out of their hand myself and say something like "That. That's what I'm going to do for a dollar. Thank you." And if they complain, the staff would see on cameras they her handing it to you anyway.
Re: when they ask what you're gonna do for a dollar...
I just like to [try to] make those guys feel stupid or embarrassed. I do it in a way that doesn't sound like I'm butthurt or pissed, because that's what they like. "Oh you've got a dollar for me? Four whole quarters if I can somehow make it worth your while?" *To other nearby customers* "I'm literally naked in 8" heels swinging around a pole on a stage and this guy is still not impressed. He wants to know what I'm gonna do for his dollar-- not my laundry, that's for sure, because to wash a load costs $1.25. It would break his bank if I wanted to dry my clothes too!" Get other customers to laugh at him with you; social pressure helps drive the point home. Then take his dollar.

The last one that tried that, I said "Nothing, cause you obviously need it more than me, keep it".
His buddies laughed their asses off and the little shit gave me the dollar.
