Selling the new baller VIP room
Last night was my first time working since a big, more expensive VIP room has opened in our club. Heres how my club is set up:
One song for $40
3 for $100, more privacy
1/2 hr $250 1 hr $400 in regular VIP (big room split up into private booths with big couches)
New baller VIP: $300 for 15 mins, $600 for 30 mins, $1200 for an hour (room totally to ourselves in luxury area with free champagne, super fancy, TV and our own music choices)
Theres really no difference rule-wise between the two VIPs, so the selling point is the completely private room vs booths that somewhat oversee one another. Normally I sell regular VIPs left and right, but last night I feel like customers felt over-sold when I mentioned the new baller rooms and did less VIPs with me of either sort. They almost all did 3 for $100 until I quit pushing the new rooms, thats when they started saying yes to even the regular VIPs again. I didnt see anyone in the new rooms all night but I know some guys were spending $1000 or more in the regular ones so the $$ is there.
How can I mention these rooms without the customer feeling overwhelmed? I understand just saying $1200 sounds like a lot to some guys, but even just pushing the 15 minute and 30 minute options they seemed put off. I'm thinking of just selling the rooms like I used to, then when they say yes to regular VIP, mentioning the option to upgrade once already in line to pay.
I may also be too hard on myself, since I didnt see other girls selling those rooms either it may have just been a cheap batch of guys. However I did sell less VIPs in general last night and I do feel its because they felt over-sold on the pricier rooms. Any advice is appreciated
Re: Selling the new baller VIP room
I would straight up call the new VIP "the private room". So then it's differentiated from "VIP", which is "semi-private booths", without free champagne, and we're listening to whatever music they put on instead of what you pick.
I feel like you did just get a cheap batch of customers because normally you want to mention the highest number possible and then suddenly the $400 hour sounds really cheap. Theoretically you should sell more $400 ones with pricier options, not less.
The key thing is when you mention the $1200 hour deliver it like it is a totally normal amount for guys to spend and actually a great deal. Act like you probably sold a couple already.

Great advice, thank you! I will definitely start calling that room the "private room" and only the other one "VIP"
