Microblading, has anyone done It?
Not sure if theres threads on this already. I'm so thinking of getting this done, I found a promotion for a place that's doing it for half price this month so now I'm really tempted, lol. If anyone's done it do you love the results? I heard that it can also be risky like the color doesn't take and lots of scabbing, so not so sure about it

I have friends who tried and they got nice results. Now depends by the place that is doing this type of procedure. You should check out if they have a portofolio with real pictures, with customers before/ after. If they don't have such thing or you believe the pics are stolen, don't try.
Always look for portofolio, reviews, etc. You have higher chances to get a good work done.
Sorry for my bad english, not my native language. I hope you get my point.

Not yet. But I'm thinking about it. Following...

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
My girlfriend got it done, and her results are fantastic. She had them done two years ago, and said that they fade in about 4.
Because I'm a chickenshit, I'm waiting to be sure that they fade in the next two years, and then I MAY do mine.
I really don't want to be stuck with the exaggerated eyebrow look for the rest of my life. You know that shit wont be in style forever (nothing ever is).

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
I did it. I still need to go for my touch up, but here is a photo of the first treatment. It was right, right after, like the next day. It hurt a little more than I thought it would but it was tolerable. Also, she told me I couldn't get my forehead wet (like wash my whole face, shampoo my hair or SWEAT) for 10 days. Trying not to sweat in Miami in August is impossible.
I will post another photo after the touchup. Iknow there's a few other threads about this too.

Thanks! I can clearly see where she needs to fill them in a bit but I am really happy with the results.

I thought this would be about ice skating on little tiny skates.

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
I'm getting my touch up Sunday. I will take some photos right after and once it is healed and will do my best to remember to post both. In fairness, I have black eyebrows so my results may not be the same as someone with fairer hair or thin eyebrows. I know Bella Thorne and Megan Goode both did theirs too.

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
I did it. Love it. Money well spent. The only thing I didn't like is the noise it made when she was cutting into my eyebrows. Something about it grossed me out. But they look great. I went to the girl who does my eyelashes. She had a lot of before and after pictures. I also have been her client for years so I trusted her. I would definitely find someone that is well reviewed.

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
Soo... my appointment got rescheduled until today, which was kind of shitty since I left my family 3 hours away, but anyhoo...
I am a little embarrased to post these cause my skin looks crazy. I just microneedled a few days ago and also my eyelids were gunky with cream so my mascara smeared and it looks saggy . I will post again once they have healed a bit. They are not supposed to stay this dark. If anyone in So Fl is interested I will pass along the contact info of the lady that did it. It was more painful on one side than the other (Left eyebrow was painless) right eyebrow, kinda wanted to pass out. It must be my weird body- she was gentle. One is natural lighting, for comparison.

And one more, a few hours later, once my skin has calmed down a bit; though no one but me can likely see the differenceAttachment 48936

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
Not a massive fan tbh. I was pleased at first but in less than 1.5 years mine are already fading (to the extent I have a completely uncoloured patch on the right eyebrow) and they do do match on either side. I still have to use products to give my brows the shape I want. Unless you can get it really cheap I say save your money x

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
I'm glad I did it. Almost fully healed. Wil post a new photo soon.

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
I got it done a few years ago and LOVED the results for like 6 months tops. I was told it would last more like 2 years. It faded too fast for the price IMO. I went to one of the best in NYC but honestly I've had other tattoos fade really fast on my body even with meticulous care. It might seem crazy but I'm looking into investing a kit to do it myself so I can afford to touch it up every few months.

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
I got it done today. I took a huuuge risk and went with a lady that offered a promotion, she works at my hair salon and it was so cheap that I couldn't refuse lol. I checked out her credentials though and she seemed qualified, she's certified and her work seemed to be very good. She told me not to take any blood thinners before but I had taken turmeric which I remembered later is a blood thinner. I bled profusely the whole time she was working on my brows, it took over 3 hours because she had to take her time because of the bleeding. It was also very painful. I had heard that there should not be much pain but it killed. I love the way it turned out though. I hope I heal ok. She told me to wipe it every half hour with a wet cotton swab and an ointment that she gave me. But I read on line that you should not get it wet after for at least a week cuz that can make it fade faster. I have not cleaned it yet, it's been over an hour since she did it. I hope it will end up looking ok in the end.

I couldn't wash my face or hair for 10 days! I like mine. Let me see if I can post an updated pic without a bunch of nonsense.

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
I'm not getting it done after reading winged dingys blog. And I use too many anti aging products. So it won't last long. I'd rather save the money.

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
Bump! I had it done last Thursday. And I'm happy with it. The brows didn't hurt. But the eyeliner hurt a lot.

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
Ugh! I'm kinda re-tracting my last post. Most of the eyeliner has completely flaked off.I'm getting touch ups soon. But still..... My eyebrows are still looking great at least for now.Sometimes you just have to try things out for yourself even though your gut isn't certain about it.

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
FYI the younger you are, the shorter it will last because your metabolism is faster when you’re young. For those of you saying it didn’t last :/

Re: Microblading, has anyone done It?
Also Nyla, google the phases of microblading in an image search, it gets really light after it flakes and then it comes back!
