Lost a lot of weight and have "loose skin". Will this be an issue?
I've always wanted to be a dancer. I find it absolutely intriguing and empowering. However, I used to weight a lot more than I do now. I was over 220 pounds (I am 5 foot 8 inches) and am now around 140. I have several areas where my skin is saggy from the weight loss (arms and thighs) but at this point, exercising wouldn't help much. I also have "mom boob's" (size c but a bit deflated) but they are thankfully not too bad and I do plan on getting a boob job once I save up enough. Will this be a possible issue while dancing and any advice or tips?!

Yes it will be a problem at some clubs but not a problem in others. I would go and check out some of your local clubs and see what the girls look like there. In this area 90% of the clubs hire girls of all sorts of shapes and sizes, only a small number of clubs are picky and having loose skin would be an issue.

First off, I want to say congratulations on losing weight. It all depends on the club. Some of the upscale ones might have a problem with it because they can be super picky about physical appearances. I have had one reject me because of my tummy. They expected their girls to have totally flat bellies and be tan. Honestly I have some loose skin on the belly area from weight gain due to pregnancy. Then I lost the weight, only to regain weight, lost 25lbs and belly still has loose skin even though I'm skinny. I agree with the previous poster that you should go to the club that you want to apply and check out the other girls there. There are plenty of women of all sizes, shapes, stretchmarks, cellulite, scars, etc. In the meantime with your arms and thighs, you can help tighten up that area by doing different exercises. Check Youtube. I love Youtube because you can find a lot of workouts on there. I do one that works on toning arms every day and I swear it seems to have been making a difference. Later on once you're working you'll be able to afford implants and whatever other procedures that you feel you need. Good luck!

Lift weights. I was about 220lbs once at my heaviest, and lost weight with dieting and some plastic surgery. Lifting weights won't work miracles, but if will make your body more toned overall and should minimize how loose your skin looks.

Also, try taking some supplements with collagen and possibly a treatment like microneedling or lipocavitation.

^THIS! Don't just do cardio only, because cardio gets you skinny but not necessarily toned. Are you sure it's only loose skin or just extra body fat? I ask this because I had this issue, too. I thought I had "loose skin" when really I just needed to lower my body fat percentage (this is where weight training helps.) I got down to a size 4 and still had a wobbly stomach because I never weight trained even though I looked skinny in clothes. If the skin is wrinkly and sagging, there is probably some loose skin. If it feels "thick" and wobbles (think muffin top), this could be extra body fat that weight training will help with. Worst case, a small tummy tuck and a breast lift is all I would get. I wouldn't worry about the arms or legs. Since I don't know what you actually look like, it's hard to say about getting hired. It could be no big deal except for upscale fancy clubs. Make sure you wear flattering outfits if you do have trouble spots. Ebay and Esty have good outfits that fit better and look more flattering than a lot of the stuff you find in sex shops or stripper stores. Congrats on the weight loss don't get discouraged!
And don't forget strip club lighting is very flattering.

Thank you guys for the tips and advice! I had my first audition tonight and unfortunately did not get hired :/ However, it was because of my chest piece tattoo. So hope is not lost, just have to find a club that is ok with tattoo's!

I'm sorry you didn't get hired there but I'm sure you will find the right place Not every club is a good fit for every dancer. Sounds like you're kinda in the same boat as me. Like not big enough for the BBW fantasy but not quite a lean machine either. If your tummy is your main issue, throw on a sexy ass waist cincher set or front closure corset(back closure corsets are a bitch to take off just no) and call it a day! I've also worn a control tank top with invisible panel with a matching thong so it just looks like a one piece which plenty of other dancers wear including the skinny minnies. Basically I do whatever I can get away with lol.

Yep correct outfits can be the key to success!
