Newbie in an Extra's Club
So yesterday was my first shift, my hustle is weak, let me tell you :/ ....It's the walking up to tables cold thing that I know I have to get over somehow. The awkward feeling is too fresh right now for me I guess.
But thats not the main topic of this post... it's the fact that unfortunately, it did not take me long to realize that majority or all of the customers are looking for extras! I have now learned that Mississauga is known for a high milage/extras club. So my main question here is, how can I hustle effectively without becoming an extras girl. How can I compete with them while remain a clean dancer?:-\ Any advice would be much appreciated!
Re: Newbie in an Extra's Club
I have definitely been there. I think one club I worked at when I was completely new was an extras club and it's definitely not the best place to start, it can be very challenging and overwhelming when you're so new and just finding your feet as a new dancer. I would suggest sussing out some other clubs that are lower contact or no contact at all if you're new. If you do want to stay there, it'll take some practice and your hustle will get stronger but I definitely found it to be mentally exhausting when I was new and not offering the same services as the other girls who were offering a lot more.
Re: Newbie in an Extra's Club
Yea I get what you're saying. I've tried looking for other options but I live in Toronto without a dancers licence, so unfortunately Mississauga seems to be the closest option. All clubs there are apparently known to be the same touchy-feely clubs. :/ So staying put and hopefully earning some cash to move on would be great.
All men there are trying to grab you when you give them dances, which are $20. This club only does dances and the inevitable extras... I feel like 20 is too low for grabbing etc. but I'm not sure if girls even charge extra for the grabbing which would make it impossible to charge custies maybe 40 for grabbing. Just don't know how to really approach the pricing structure with a dancing high milage type of club. (There are no VIPs/CRs)
Re: Newbie in an Extra's Club
Yeah even after two years of dancing I worked in a similar club and it is tough and mentally draining. I say don't do anything you're not comfortable with, and $20 is definitely too low for touching in my opinion, for sure, especially if $20 is all they're spending!!! But again, everyone's boundaries are different. Charge extra for touching (if that's within your boundaries). There are tactics you can learn with them like me and my other dancer friends did, maybe grabbing there hands and holding them down to the side so you're in full control of what happens (and a lot of them find the dominating a turn on). It's hard but definitely possible to make money in an extras club. And as a newbie your hustle will definitely improve with practice, I remember being a newbie was terrifying!!! Look after yourself and take breaks when you need them. Also make sure to read hustle hut. Hope this helps!!

I would find a new club it doesn’t sound like a good fit

Ok so everywhere in Ontario the dances are nude and contact. You can expect that at every club the customers will touch your boobs and ass for 20 bucks/dance. Charging more is unheard of. You can minimize the touching by doing 50% air dances but most customers will expect some contact. I usually tell them they can be firm on my ass but gentle with my breasts.
That being said, you're in an extras heavy area. Especially at Cafe Atlantis.. which Is where I think you are? Try Pure Gold in Mississauga or if you can travel to Burlington, try Solid Gold. At Solid Gold I can expect to make$ $1000 a night from 10-230 on Friday and Saturdays. I'm not so familiar with the week nights.
Dont compare the Ont clubs to the US clubs because they're totally different. Ya our dances are twenty bucks but we keep all that and don't have to pay any tip puts. Some of the advice on here isn't applicable north of the border.
Re: Newbie in an Extra's Club
Also try the 905 in Pickering (no lisense) or Whiskey Go Go (they let you try a few days before getting a Vaughn lisense).
Re: Newbie in an Extra's Club
Mississauga is hardcore extras indeed. Why don’t you want to get a license and Work downtown? Downtown has extras-heavy clubs too, but they’re not all like that.

Thank you! Right now I have to uber so its definitely a commitment. I do want to try solid gold soon! Since it will only be my third shift tonight I'm trying to just get the hang of things first and rack up some cash for the longer ubers I'm assuming I'll have to wait for during the week (slower night) to register there as well...

Solid Gold doesn't care what night you start. It's right by Aldershot station if you want to GO train there to save money.
905 makes you do amateur night (Wednesday I think?) to audition. But they do offer pick up and drop off for girls around the GTA.
Re: Newbie in an Extra's Club
Get out of that shithole you're working in. There's nothing to learn there. You've already learned the only thing you can learn, the way girls make money there is sucking and fucking. In one or two shifts at a clean club you will be able to pay for your license if you want to work downtown! Work in Burlington anywhere but Mississauga!
