Not makeup, but if any of ya'll color your own hair and struggle finding the shades you want, may wanna try Color and Co. You can either take a quiz OR you can do a Skype call with a colorist to determine what color you want/need, they take into account hair type, age, all sorts of factors. Its only about $20 per delivery and it autoships in intervals from 3weeks-2months or so. I was sick of trying to find my perfect red soooooooooooo i just had my own made lol. Ngl, I feel a bit bougie having my name on the bottles too lol
Also, I dont know if any of ya'll are Colourpop fans but their new lip formula, Liquid Lux is AMAZING. Im a beauty snob and will drop $130 for a Natasha Denona palette in a heartbeat, but those lil $8 lippies are SO FUCKING GOOD. Yesterday I wore blue red called Take A Bao and that shit stayed on for HOURS through vaping, drinking, dildo sucking, etc and it didnt dry my lips out like most mattes do. They had a 25% off sale going on the past few days on the whole site, but today is the last day so if any of ya'll wanna try it, nows the time
I love their eye colors. popping colors. I use the glitter eyeshadows as lipstick and it works nice :) its too creamy for eyes imo
https://colourpop.com/products/brow-boss-pencil this brow is amazing for sharp brows and it stays
i had a tube of liquid lux and still scraping the edges :) this stuff stays
Who do you ladies use for long lasting crayon pencils? I'm looking for something with a variety of colors that I can but don't cost a ton of money.
I like those from Sephora (https://m.sephora.com/product/waterp...pencil-P377784) and also the Inglot gel pot liners (not a crayon, but big variety of colors, over 30 shades).
I second the eye primer! ulta has an excellent one as well that wont break the bank.
I will leave this tip here as it helped me lots. It's an trick for eyeliner. When you do your eyeliner look down at the mirror. It will turn out evan and you will be able to nail the angle. Like look down on the mirror, do not keep it straight in your face.
I was looking for eyeliners specifically. I've seen lots of people praise different kind from the Marc Jacobs brand but damn they're expensive.
However now that we've stumbled on to eye primers I'm looking for one in white and isn't sticky. I'm using one from Loreal and it takes almost ten minutes to dry down. But I love the lemony scent. Honestly they should make it a lotion.
I use Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner. IT is amazing, the brush is very good and lasts for ages. But before this I used inglot AMC gel eyeliner in black (i also had white). It is an amazing liner that lasts ages and is super good (also pretty ok price). Unfortunately I discovered I have a carmine allergy and had to give up on inglot (with a broken heart, it has carmine). Kat Von D does the trick now mmm. Also as a trick, set the eyeliner with a black eyeshadow, it will last much longer and it will look much bolder.
Love katvondee
when I cant get it, only one makeup store carries it here
I found this https://www.ulta.com/stay-put-matte-...mpprod17081113
love it! :-*
Favorite recent find: Jelly Dough Blush by Holika Holika! It's inexpensive, a little goes a LONG way, the colors on the site are true to color, and it blends like a dream if you use a moist beauty blender. dries like a matte powder too which is nice. I've been using it for months and keep getting compliments irl on it (plus it looks nice on cam).
I have a few question about fake lashes - i hope someone can enlighten me.
1: If I buy something I need to put on with a glue - does that damage, and pull out our own lashes? How to remove the glue? Does the whole procedure take long - to put them on, remove them, clean up etc.
2: There is a thing like: magnetic lashes with liner. Someone has experience with that? Maybe it s better / faster than the glue version?
Sorry for moron questions - I m just not good at this. And i have never used any fake lashes yet.
1. The glue doesn't damage your lashes. I have been using false lashes for more than 5 years and my lashes are just fine (You'd rather need to be careful if any of the glue ingredients are irritating your skin, because you may be allergic. You can always try and see). Because you are sticking the false lashes, just at the base of your natural ones. Even if you opt for eyelash extensions, yes, your natural lashes will fall among with the false ones, because they regenerate. Lashes are always regenerating, just like hair and brows, so, don't worry either way. It's normal for them to fall.
Removing the glue is simple. I am using DUO invisible glue, my top favourite ever. The glue, when it dries out, it transforms into something jelly'sh. Just like the glue you were using when you were a kid and you were peeling off your fingers. So, it's easy to remove from the eyes, you're pulling gently. Of, course, it accumulates on the lash strip so, every 2 days (or daily, but i do it every 2 days because i use a very thin layer of glue), you will gently remove it with your fingers, just peel it off the lash, careful to not damage it.
No, it does not take long at all, here's a tutorial on how to apply false lashes (I don't curl or use mascara on my natural lashes, like she does in the clip, it's unnecessary on webcam because is not visible/ I cut the lashes from the inner corner, not the ends, because I lose all the fluff and volume if I cut the "tail"- personal preference). The whole procedure takes less than 5 minutes, to remove them, takes a second :))

2. I never tried magnetic lashes, I don't really like how they look and I am pretty fine with the strip lashes, since is easy for me to use them. I am planning to get eyelash extensions, tho...
Also, here is a list of VERY useful Do& Don't for begginers!! It's gonna help you a lot.

I know it can be quite expensive but it is amazing. What I found out with more expensive products: they last much longer than drugstore/cheaper ones. And it is basically the same thing you sepnd at the end of the day. IT gives the false ilussion it is a better deal on the moment. Of course there are exceptions, like some pretty amazing cheap products buttt most of the time the rule applies.
Don't get me wrong, I have many amazing cheap products, one exemple is my mascara (it costs 4 $ and it is amazing, essence brand). On concelar tough, nothing beats my mac prolongwear. It lasts me 3-4 months while every cheaper product i tried lasted me max one month (and that was me beeing lucky).
I am happy my advices help girls ! We leran from eachother andt hat is amazing !
I bought a load of new makeup as It was well overdue an upgrade! Some was a hit, others a miss:
1) The Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette - WIN
Love this so much, it's made my eyshadow routine so much quicker, the shades last for hours with no smudging, AND you can use the palette easily for highlighting and blush as well.
2) Charlotte Tilburry 'Lip Pillow' Liner - WIN
Holy shit this liner is amazing! I have super thin lips and a little mouth and most lip liners look ridiculous on me. The girl at CT showed me how to overline and wowzers this stuff makes my lips look perfectly pouty and it lasts for hours! It's expensive but I am going back to get the red colour as well.
3) Lime Crime Gloss/ Plushies/ Lip Toppers (Various) - WIN
I adore Lime Crime glosses and plushies, they're so easy to use and make my lips super shiny and glossy. I went and bought a ton more, got nearly 20 now lol! And diamond crusher lip toppers oooooooh, they are not as useful for cam as the glosses but great for clips and when you want to make a statement.
4) Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit - LOSE
Pretty but not needed as the Jaclyn Hill palette does everything i needed this for. Waste of money and also is TOO pigmented for cam, makes me look sweaty.
Re eyelashes I've recently stopped having lash extensions as while i love them, they get in the way of using eyeliner. I'm not usually a fan of stick on lashes cause they always made my eyes look much smaller and closed up, but i recently started trying out Superdrug's own fake lash range and they are great! Really cheap and easy to use.
Re eyeliner - Kat Von D is amazeballs. But I now use ELF liquid liner (from superdrug) which is a fraction of the price and just as good
Bonus - All the above are cruelty free! https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/im...s/thumbsup.gif
No, it goes just above your lashes, not directly on your lashes, so it shouldn't get trapped in your lashes unless you use way too much glue. I find that makeup wipes are the best way to get it off with ease. Usually it's a pretty quick process applying them: Simply apply the glue to the band of the fake lashes, wait for it to get tacky, position, & then place the lashes. Takes me about 90 seconds to do each lash (starting out it was about 3+ minutes per eye because i would position them too high on my lid or unevenly). It just takes time to master, but you'll get there with practice. Pro tip: Use a lash with a clear band when you are starting out. it makes it far less obvious when you position them a little too high because you don't have an obvious black band running across your lid. I personally like these for a dramatic look on cam (though the entire brand makes quality, light weight, reusable lashes) https://www.amazon.com/Christina-6pa..._dp&th=1&psc=1 I like them better than Ardell brand lashes, they are cheaper, and super easy to take off and reapply multiple times if need be. Also Kiss glue is pretty sturdy, inexpensive ($3 on amazon), and dries down clear.
I'd suggest watching a few youtube videos about applying fake lashes so you can see some different techniques and get tips.
I've never worn magnetic lashes, so sadly i'm of little help there.
Okay ladies... let's talk about brushes. For years I've applied my make-up with my fingers. But I now realize that some looks do better with a brush. Who do you recommend.
