My Sephora has sample applicators to use for lip glosses and you're never meant to use the one that comes in the tube, but I could see how others might not care and consequently infect the whole tube. Or people double dipping with the sample applicator. Ick. Scary world out there.
Although, I personally would not do this... I have seen lipstick testers sprayed with alcohol and wiped down several times before being tested.
I'll stick to mini samplers.
I rarely test lipsticks or lip gloss or make up in general.
If I do test it is on the inside of my wrist. Even if and that rarely happens where I don't get a color I don't like, can always mix it with others I already own & make it work.
I don't test anything on my face. At home when putting on makeup I always have a baby wipe to clean all brushes between uses. Unclean brushes can cause break outs & bad skin.
That’s why I love Sephora! They test make up with little new sponges and have testers available.
75% of people have the virus..
But yea I pretty much know which colors work
I throw out makeup after a cold sore outbreak or flu. Sometimes the peace of mind is worth it...
Yeah I personally never put the tester stuff on my mouth/face.
Only time I would consider it is if the tester lipstick is behind the counter where the sales rep controls the wands and uses new ones/doesn't double dip the wands
But to be safe I'd avoid putting testers on lips/eyes/etc
WTF-I hate when guys are like, “you wanna drink” and they hand me their bottle right after they put their cocksucker all over it-gross. I don’t share anything! After taking microbiology, I was scared to go to touch anything.
