Did the first step and emailed them and they got back to me within a half hour. Impressive so far. Has or does anyone work for them? What is it all about?

If you signed up for them and they responded to you, then shouldn't you know what they are all about? What kind of service is this?
I never said I signed up. I saw on another forum some vague information about them and to email them with interest. That's all I did and now I'm waiting to hear from the main office how I go about applying. All I know is it involves texting (I think adult texting)
Review:
Do not apply here, their business has tanked. Their true colors are showing now. A few months back they were very busy, now you are lucky if you can get 10 messages a day. ..

That is one opinion. You can do a search
I googled them and their webpage http://operating4u.nl/ says it's for people residing in the Netherlands or Belgium. Also they don't mention how they payout.
It is all in Dutch.
Even with having to translate it to English, it looks like an amateur quickly threw together the website. There's not much info provided. I'd be leery.
Just got this from the main office:
Thanks for showing interest to become an adult chat operator.
As we have platforms in several languages, can I please ask you which country you're from so I know for which platform you're applying.
Let me start with telling you a bit about us.
We are Operating4u and we recruit and select people for a client of us who owns a chat platform. This platform consists of mainly fictional female profiles where men respond to by short messages. It is the operators duty to reply to these short messages, on behalf of the fictitious profiles. There are thousands of customers and thousands of profiles popping up like working on a conveyor belt. (That's a bit how this works, you answer one and the next one pops up straight away :))
To be able to work for us you need to have a good working computer or laptop. It's not possible to do this work on a (smart) phone.
I have attached an 'pay by message table', the more messages you send the higher the pay per message. You can choose to be paid either monthly or weekly. If you decide to get paid monthly the pay per message will be higher than when you prefer to get paid on a weekly base. We have a few operators working full time for us and they earn over 500 euro a week. (approx 425 GBP)
At the moment we only pay out using either Paypal or by bank transfer. I'm still looking into other payment options. When they come available I'll let everyone know about it.
Before you get started, you'll get an online training and a bit more explanation on Skype. We also need a few more details from you, like how we can pay you but more about that later on.
Let me know if you're still interested!
Kind regards,
Don't work for them. I worked for them when the pay was pretty good. 15-18 cents per message sent, depending on how many messages you sent out. The more messages you sent out, the more you got paid.
However, they cut the pay drastically. 7-8 cents per message now, depending on how many messages you send out. This is reason enough to not work for a company. This is what a lot of texting jobs do these days. They reel you in with good pay and then they cut everyone's pay out of nowhere, just because they are cheap and want more money for themselves.
Traffic was also terrible when I left. The traffic started out back to back, but a few months in, I was lucky to send out even 10 messages an hour. You won't be able to send out the minimum amount of messages to get paid, so you will just be working for free, since they do not pay you if you don't hit target.
PayPal? Seriously?
